So my parents and I visited my brother in California in December 1993. Needless to say wearing shorts in December made us move to the Golden State in October the following year. The first few years were rough, adjusting to the California ways, but through humor, poetry and sports I was able to get by.
I had always loved to laugh, write and rhyme, so when I was 16 I picked up a pen and started writing my own poetry. When I was 20 I started writing and performing stand up comedy. I've performed at the University Theater in San Jose State University, Rose and Crown in Palo Alto, Montgomery Theatre in San Jose and Rooster T. Feathers in Sunnyvale. In May 2004, I finished my first poetry book, "16-23: Eight Years in Mediocrity."
Wherever my dreams may take me I will follow them with the love and support of my precious strawberry angel, my beautiful wife, Amy and my new baby girl Olivia who is my whole life. Another one of my dreams came true on February 3, 2008... My New York Giants won the Super Bowl for the first time in 17 long years!
I graduated from San Jose State with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism in May 2004. I am the Director of Resident Services at the Terraces of Los Gatos. I am thinking about attending graduate school within the two years. That's me in a very nutty nut shell.
