If he then pulled out a picnic basket with pepporoni pizza and Coke in it and asked me if I'd join him, I'd be sure to smile.
It's really not what but why. He could bring me a diamond bracelet. But if he only did it to "score" with me because I hinted for a million years than it really wouldn't mean much. It's the thought that counts.
I mean, if he showed up tomorrow and mumbled really quickly (as he would if he was nervous) "I love you." And I oculd look into his eyes and see that he truly meant it, that's all I need. Just an effort on his part. Anything that show me how much he likes me.
