Christmas Eve
Comes just once a year.
Happiness is in the air.
Reindeer prance on the rooftop.
I am fast asleep.
Santa is in the living room.
Toys cover the floor.
My dreams are of Christmas morning,
And family coming over.
Soon it will be morning.

Everyone is here.
Very happy and excited.
Everlasting joy fills my heart.
Tomorrow
Tomorrow is the day after today,
Tomorrow is always on it's way.

Tomorrow bring the rising sun.
Tomorrow says today has begun.

But tomorrow isnt' here you,
Not until the sun set.
A Letter
We've been through good things,
also some bad.
Been through things happy,
and also things sad.

A good thing is,
you're my best friend,
and I hope our friendship
will never end.
Even though we're moving,
so very far apart,
I know our friendship
will live on in my heart.

A bad thing is,
when we fought and we fought.
It was a horrible thing,
I didn't think you were hot.
We fought during choir,
and all through the day.
But I knew happiness
was coming our way.

A happy thing was Marineland,
it was so much fun.
Went on the roller coaster,
and played in the sun.
We saw dolphins, whales,
and sea lions too.
The day was the best
because you were you.

A sad thing is,
we made fun of each other.
I even made fun
of your baby brother.
I'm sorry I did this,
It was the wrong thing to do.
I hope I didn't ruin
my friendship with you.

I won't forget you,
In a day or a year.
My memories will be filled up,
with happiness and cheer.
I hope you keep this poem
close to you heart,
and your memories of me
will never part.
Pictures
Pose for the camera,
CLICK CLICK CLICK.
All you see are flashes,
they happen so quick.

When you get your pictures,
you send them everywhere.
You send them to special people,
the people who will care.
Go to Bed
"Time for bed,"
the babysitter said.

"But we're not tired."
"But I was hired."

"I have to go pee.
Will you wait for me?"

"Okay, but hurry on,
your brother is already gone."

Then she heard a flush,
he wasn't in a rush.

"But not I need a drink."
So they walked to the sink.

She looked right at his face,
and said, "Let's have a race."

He said, "That would be fun!"
So they both began to run.

When they got to his room,
he stared into the gloom.

"You know that I'm scared."
But he knew that she cared.

She sat there until he was asleep,
and went downstairs without a peep.

When the parents got home that night
she said, "Everything went right."
Rainy Days
Your umbrella is broken,
you can't go outside,
you runa round the house,
but you can't hide.

Can't hide from the rain,
cant' hide from the gloom,
so you start to cry,
as you run to your room.

You lay and you cry,
until you fall fast asleep,
then you wake up
with a giant leap.

The sun is shining,
so you can go out,
you run, you jump,
and you give a big shout!
A Bad Day
Have you ever had one?
They're really not that fun.
When your mom forgets to pack your lunch,
and you fall when you try to run.

You forget it's picture day,
and you wear you grungy shirt.
When everyone wears jeans,
you wear your very best skirt.

But then, for some unknown reason,
something just goes right,
then you day goes from dark and gloomy,
to warm and sunny bright.
Almost Two Years?
It's been almost two years.
Has it really been that long?
It seems like only yesterday,
I wish someone had been wrong.

My dad had a heart attack,
On December Fifteen.
This is one of the things
of which I'm not too keen.

I wish i wouldn't have happened,
but at least now he's ok,
and now he has to lose some weight,
I wish he didn't find out that way.

So this is why this day,
is sort of sad for me.
But I'm also happy
he can be on the family tree.
Another War?
Our lives are full of todays,
but what about tomorrow?
They're full of fun and happy times,
but what about the sorrows?

What about the men,
who'll have to fight at war?
Go out and risk their lives,
when there'e nothing to risk for.

I know there's lost of oil,
underneath the scorching sade,
but what about the men who'll die
to help our frightened land?

Or what about their families?
They'll have to pay the price.
When you go beneath the surface
war doesn't sound so nice.

Our lives are full of todays,
but what about tomorrows?
They're full of fun and happy times,
but what about the sorrows?
