THE MERCENARY ACROSS TIME AND SPACE

 

 

Chapter 5

 

 

The Wanderer arrived at the capital city of Xu Chang. Kelvin asked the computer.

 

 

Kelvin : Computer. Do tell me what situation we're in, so I can blend myself there better.

Computer : Affirmative. The Wei forces currently engaged a skirmish in Xia Pi with the Shu forces.

Kelvin : Any informations on this Zhen Ji ?

Computer : She was planned to sneak behind the Shu camp alone and burn their supply depot. Here are her route *shows route in the monitor*

Kelvin : Good enough. Prepare to beam me down !

 

 

Kelvin then stepped on the transporter again. He arrived on the woods, and he quickly hid behind the bushes. He saw Zhen Ji running on the road, seems like she's going to get her plan underway. Kelvin took something on his pocket... a device. He aimed to Zhen Ji and pressed the button on it. Then, the device launched some sort of grappling hook heading towards Zhen Ji and tied her body up.

 

 

Zhen Ji : What's this !?

Kelvin : Gotcha !

Zhen Ji : Who are you, you lout !? Let me go ! I'm in a middle of an important mission !

Kelvin : No you're not going anywhere. I've got a mission too...

Zhen Ji : Why you...!

Kelvin : *shows knife* Whoops. Do anything crazy, and I'm gonna cut your neck.

Zhen Ji : ...

 

 

Kelvin took Zhen Ji away with his grappling hook to a hut. There, he forced her to sit down on the floor and started to tie her hands behind. Then, he realized something...

 

 

Kelvin : CRUD !! I'm out of ropes ! At this rate...

Zhen Ji : What do you want from me ?

Kelvin : For starters... I want you to shut up.

 

 

Kelvin then took several rough white clothes and stuffed them on Zhen Ji's mouth, gagging her. Then, he put out a thick white cloth and gagged her with it, over her mouth. Then, he proceeded to tie her ankles with the remaining ropes...

 

 

Kelvin : There should be some more ropes here...

Zhen Ji : Mmmphh ! Mmmpphh !!

Kelvin : Stay put there or I'm gonna punish you.

 

 

Kelvin then looked through the hut, but found no ropes. He decided to beam off to The Wanderer for awhile and stock up with more ropes. Meanwhile, Zhen Ji was not tied quite securely like Hikaru, Nakoruru and Maria. She squirmed and took a look around. She found one stone and, using her bound hands, she cut off the ropes that bound her wrists slowly. After that, she used it to cut the ropes that bound her ankles and removed all the gags.

 

 

Zhen Ji : Pfftoo ! That weird man... I swear that when I'm done with the supply depot, I will make him pay... Wait a minute...

 

 

Zhen Ji realized one thing... she dropped her flute when Kelvin dragged her !

 

 

Zhen Ji : Crud. Oh well, I'll have to keep myself stealthy and not seen with the enemies.

 

 

Zhen Ji ran off from the hut and resumed her run to the Shu supply depot. But before she could run longer, she suddenly felt numb, and fell unconscious... Someone shot her with a tranquilizer from behind, and it was none other Kelvin.

 

 

Kelvin : Told you that I'll have to punish you if you don't stay put...

 

 

Kelvin has brought more ropes now, and some gagging clothes and duct tapes. He then proceeded to gag her like before, and tied her up like he did to Hikaru, Nakoruru and Maria. He forced her to lean on the tree, sitting. After placing some settings, he pulled out some special water and poured it to Zhen Ji, waking her up.

 

 

Zhen Ji : Mmmmphh !

Kelvin : Got up ? I told you it's punishment time.

Zhen Ji : Mmmmmmppgghh !!?

Kelvin : Now then, prepare yourself !

 

 

Kelvin was holding a rope, connected with a tree branch, which was also connected to the rope that bound Zhen Ji's body. He pulled the rope, and she started to go up, suspended. She struggled and moaned, but Kelvin ignored her... until she reached a certain height.

 

 

Zhen Ji : MMMMPPHH !!! MMMMPPHH !!! MMMMPPHH !!! MMMMPPHH !!! MMMMPPHH !!! MMMMPPHH !!!

Kelvin : All right, time for the finale...

 

 

Kelvin then pulled a sharp disc... and he threw it to the rope that hung her. She was dropped down to the ground, creating a muffled shriek before hand.

 

 

Zhen Ji : MMMMMMMMMMMMPPPPPPHHHHH !!!!

 

 

As Zhen Ji fell to her knees, Kelvin realized that she's a bit wounded. Not wanting his victims to have wounds, Kelvin proceeded to use one of his magic... First Aid.

 

 

Zhen Ji : .... Mmmmpph ?

Kelvin : I guess that's enough for punishment. Had you been more obedient and stay put, this would never happened. I hate hurting girls...

Zhen Ji : ....

Kelvin : Oh well. Wanderer, prepare to beam us up !

 

 

Kelvin and Zhen Ji was beamed up to the Wanderer again. He then took Zhen Ji to the place where he held Hikaru, Nakoruru and Maria, and tied her to the chair next to Maria before sitting down on his chair.

 

 

Zhen Ji : Mmmmmpphh !? Mmmmpphh !!

Kelvin : Don't worry. I'm just reuniting all of you with someone... It's my job. They pay me. And time is money, you know...

Zhen Ji : Mmmmpphh !?

Kelvin : All right. We're going in for the last one... Ina. Wanderer, head for Mikawa during the Sengoku era !

 

 

And once again, the Wanderer vanished to another space...
