THE MERCENARY OF TIME AND SPACE

 

 

Chapter 13

 

 

 

Kelvin made his way through the path from the door. He kept walking until he found himself in front of a big hall with a huge door. In front of him were Debonair, Amakusa, Dong Zhuo and Nobunaga.

 

 

Amakusa : How dare you betray us, Kelvin. You shall pay for that dearly !

Kelvin : You can't blame me. I'm a mercenary... I listen to money.

Debonair : Then, what if we offer you more golds than those men can offer ?

Kelvin : ..... Not this time.

Dong Zhuo : WHAT !? I thought...

Kelvin : Luther knows something I've been looking for... my past. I will not back down this time.

Nobunaga : And you said you listen to money...

Kelvin : My true purpose is my past that I forgot. That is why I listen to money. If I can know my past without gaining more money than I can, I don't need to listen to money anymore.

Amakusa : Why you...!

Kelvin : Fortunately, I am not that fat ass over there. If you were me, you'd listen to money everytime and switch sides.

Dong Zhuo : How dare you call me fat ass ! You will never get away with it !!

 

 

Dong Zhuo recklessly charged towards Kelvin. He tried to slash Kelvin, but Kelvin was too fast and he leapt behind him and kicked him from behind.

 

 

Kelvin : Too slow.

Dong Zhuo : Why you...!

 

 

Dong Zhuo then leapt trying to slam his body to the ground on his belly. However, Kelvin anticipated it and leapt above. A fireball was quickly created in front of him.

 

 

Kelvin : Volley Burner !

 

 

Then, Kelvin performed a bicycle kick to the fireball and it travelled straight to Dong Zhuo. The fat man was burned and fell unconscious due to it. Nobunaga then stepped forward.

 

 

Nobunaga : What you fought was just a weenie. Now the real terror begins.

 

 

Nobunaga drew his sword and he engaged a swordfight with Kelvin. Kelvin managed to hold off evenly. However, as time goes by, Nobunaga got stronger and stronger. He began to overwhelm Kelvin.

 

 

Kelvin : (Ridiculous. There must be something amiss here... Wait...)

 

 

Kelvin then took a glance to Amakusa and Debonair. They seem to be chanting something...

 

 

Kelvin : (Maybe they were behind that...)

Nobunaga : DIE !

 

 

Kelvin dodged another of Nobunaga's attack, and in the same time, he prepared another technique...

 

 

Kelvin : FLASH SLICER !!

 

 

Using his Flash Slicer, which is similiar to the one he used on Gandara, but this time on the ground, Kelvin slashed both Amakusa and Debonair in one swoop. Not only their chanting was stopped, they also fell unconscious. They're strong enough to keep themselves from dying. Kelvin then continued to duel Nobunaga, though as Kelvin guessed, Nobunaga has been weakened. Eventually, they both went tired.

 

 

Nobunaga : With this one strike... I'll send you to the netherworld...

Kelvin : Try it to me.

 

 

Nobunaga charged and tried to slash Kelvin, but Kelvin dodged and hit Nobunaga on his blind spot... his ribs. This was enough to knock Nobunaga off. With the four other Evils gone, Kelvin entered the big door and encountered Luther. He was inside a huge room with a huge cannon on its corner and an empty cage to its opposite corner.

 

 

Kelvin : There you are, Luther Lansfeld...

Luther : Kelvin Vagabond... I knew you can defeat those weaklings...

Kelvin : You claim that you know parts of my past. Spit it out.

Luther : Very well. But before that, entertain me with your skills !

 

 

Luther then summoned his spear and he charged at Kelvin. He thrusted his spear, but Kelvin dodged and tried to slash him. Luther retaliated and blocked the slash, as well as deflecting it. It was a very fierce duel. At one time, Kelvin managed to kick Luther on his ribs, but Luther managed to beat Kelvin on his face. Luther later made a scratch to Kelvin's rib, but Kelvin made a scratch on his face as a reversal. They're still even, until... Luther suddenly dropped his spear.

 

 

Kelvin : Do you surrender now ?

Luther : You... there's no mistake... Your skills your strength... you resemble him...

Kelvin : Him ?

Luther : You do resemble that traitor, Algor...

Kelvin : Who is this Algor you speak of ?

Luther : Algor... he was my crew that was too addicted with Eternal Sphere... He went in there, neglecting his duties... and the last thing I heard about him was... he was married to a woman inside Eternal Sphere... he married a data ! And he even had a child !

Kelvin : ....

Luther : When I sent those Destroyers to the Eternal Sphere... I made another order for them... to eliminate Algor ! It succeeded... but I never know that his offspring survived...

Kelvin : Offspring ?

Luther : Yes... and while you're fighting those four fools... I managed to get some of your DNA sample... and it matched Algor's DNA... You are Algor's son !

Kelvin : .... So that's my father... Wait, if my father is a 4D being like you, and my mother is a 'data'... then... what am I !?

Luther : You are a new species... a half 4D being ! No wonder you have such strength as that Fayt Leingod, even though you do not have knowledge of Symbology !

Kelvin : ...

Luther : Algor might have betrayed me. But I can still forgive you. Join me, in my attempt to destroy Eternal Sphere !

Kelvin : .... In your face, psychopath.

Luther : WHAT !?

Kelvin : I have no disdain on these humans you claim as datas. Why should I destroy them ?

Luther : Because you ARE the offspring of my crew, and has the elements of a 4D being ! You are like a God compared to the lowly datas ! Together, the destruction of Eternal Sphere cannot be stopped !

Kelvin : Don't make me puke ! Playing like a God is something I despise.

Luther : How could you !?

Kelvin : I made a research on your kinds, Luther. And I found out... that these fabrications of 0s and 1s are far more interesting than yours. You have no life ! So what if I'm a half 4D ? I'm also half human !

Luther : .... It appears that I have misjudged you.

Kelvin : What a fool you are, just realizing it now... And now, I'll defeat you and get my bounty !

Luther : Not so fast !

 

 

Luther then snapped his finger, and then 5 yellow bolts struck the cage, and the cage was filled with the girls, Hikaru, Nakoruru, Maria, Zhen Ji and Ina, still bound and gagged. The cannon on the other side of the room also began to charge up.

 

 

Luther : You dare defy me... And now... watch, as your mission will be forced to fail with the death of these girls !

Kelvin : Dirty trick...!

Girls : MMMMMMMMMMPPPPPPHHH !!!!!
