Chapter 3

 

 

Nakoruru drown quickly due to the iron ball tied on her ankles. On the way, though, she kept struggling, but no avail. And on the top of that, she was late to catch some breath on the air. She finally fell slowly to the underwater ground. Due to the lack of air, she squirmed even harder.

 

 

Nakoruru : Mmmglbff... mmmmglbfff...... !!! (No... please, stop...!)

 

 

Nakoruru suddenly sensed something horrible approaching her, but it was all too late. She was out of air and fell unconscious as an enormous shadow approached her and grabbed her... breaking the iron ball's chain in process.

 

 

Meanwhile, Galford keep swimming to look for Nakoruru. He finally found her... in an even more dangerous situation. A big octopus was holding her with one of its tentacles.

 

 

Galford : (Man, now an octopus !? No matter !)

 

 

As a ninja, Galford could travel pretty fast in water. He then quickly swam and cut down the tentacle that held Nakoruru. The octopus got mad and shot out a black ink gas to Galford. But, he suddenly reappeared behind it and put his hand on the octopus' big head.

 

 

Galford : (Now here comes the finale ! Plasma Blade !!)

 

 

Galford then channeled all his electrical powers from his hand to the octopus. It was electrocuted severely and it slowly fell to ground... dead. Galford took Nakoruru to his hands and swam back to the surface, as he was starting to lose control of his breath.

 

 

Galford : Phew ! I thought I was a goner as well !

Nakoruru : .....

Galford : ..... Thank god, she's still alive. I have to get her to the coast. But first...

 

 

Galford then removed the gag on Nakoruru's mouth, and buried it in the sea. Then, he swam to reach the shores. Fortunately, they're near a beach, so they arrived quickly. When they did, Galford put Nakoruru on the ground and cut down all the ropes that bound her. But, she hadn't regained her consciousness, so he has to do a CPR on her. After all that, she started to regained her consciousness.

 

 

Nakoruru : Uh...

Galford : Great. You're all right now.

Nakoruru : Galford...? Where are we ?

Galford : We just got out from the sea !

Nakoruru : I see... *gasp* Oh, what about him !? If we leave him be, he might...

Galford : Damn, there's no sign of him around either...

??? : Woof !

Galford : Huh !?

 

 

Galford looked behind him and saw Poppy running to him and licking him.

 

 

Galford : H... hey, that's enough ! Stop it !

Poppy : Woof... !! GRRRR !!!

 

 

Poppy then ran off to a certain direction. Galford and Nakoruru followed it and they found it pouncing on Sankuro, trying to bite him.

 

 

Sankuro : Damn dog ! Get off me !!

Galford : I finally got you, punk !

Sankuro : Dammit ! I better get outta here !

???? : Kaaaaaaaaaa !!

Nakoruru : Ah...!

 

 

Sankuro tried to outrun Poppy, but suddenly, an eagle dove down to him and started pecking him down and scratching him with its nails.

 

 

Sankuro : NOOOO !!

Nakoruru : Mamahaha ! You came !

Galford : ... Oh well. Looks like we don't have to fight him now.

Nakoruru : Looks like nature already decided the punishment for him.

Galford : Okay. After nature finished punishing him, now it's time for justice to punish him ! Hey, Poppy, come here !

Nakoruru : Mamahaha !

 

 

Both Poppy and Mamahaha returned to their respective masters. Then, Galford took Sankuro to the cops (I wonder if cops did exist in that timeline). They handed him the reward too, but...

 

 

Galford : Uh, Sir, I can't accept this reward.

Cop : Why ? You brought Sankuro to us.

Galford : Well, as a champion of justice, I cannot accept such money... Well, maybe you can give these money to poor people...

Cop : Very well. Thank you sir !

Galford : No problem !

Nakoruru : Galford, I can't believe you did it !

Galford : Did what ?

Nakoruru : You didn't accept the money and gave them to the poor. But most importantly... I thought you'd tell them to use the money for the reservation of Kamui Kotan.

Galford : Well... I thought that too. But I think you won't be happy if your beloved nature is intervened with reservations or stuff... I know you like your home free from any human interruptions, including reservations.

Nakoruru : You knew ?

Galford : Well, yeah...

Nakoruru : Thank you...

Galford : Oh well, Rimururu must be damn worried. Let's go back to your house.

Nakoruru : Okay !

 

 

Then, both of them journeyed back to the wilds of Kamui Kotan. When they arrived back, they were greeted by Rimururu who came running and immediately hugged Nakoruru in tears.

 

 

Rimururu : SIS !!!

Nakoruru : Rimururu !

Rimururu : Boo hoo... Sis... thank god you're all right...

Nakoruru : I'm sorry I made you so worried. It's okay now, so please stop crying.

Rimururu : Okay... Uh... Galford ?

Galford : Yeah ?

Rimururu : Thanks for bringing sis back !

Galford : No problem. I already promised to save your sister, right ?

Nakoruru : Galford, can we talk in private ?

Galford : ... Uh... sure... Go ahead.

Nakoruru : Follow me.

 

 

Nakoruru took Galford into an open field. The wind was so breeze there, with fresh green grass, and some flowers blooming naturally and beautifully. Nakoruru sat down on the ground, while Galford was still amazed.

 

 

Galford : Whoa... This is great...

Nakoruru : You can sit if you wish.

Galford : OK ! *sits* So... what do you want to talk about ?

Nakoruru : Um... Galford... when I was captured... I... I was really scared.

Galford : Don't worry about it. That creep is now in the jail and you're safe.

Nakoruru : I know. But, he threatened to sell me... If that happens... I might lose my purity and abilities as a protector of nature. I prayed to the Great Spirits of Nature for help... and I think they helped me... by sending a savior in form of you...

Galford : Hey ! I was just doing that due to my love for justice, so...-

 

 

Galford didn't got a chance to finish his sentence. Slowly, Nakoruru moved her head near his and then did something that made Galford blush like crazy... She kissed him on his cheek.

 

 

Galford : ......

Nakoruru : Thank you so much, Galford.... Galford ?

 

 

Due to that kiss, Galford fainted in happiness. Nakoruru just giggled seeing him like that. An hour later, they returned to Nakoruru's home. Galford was preparing to depart.

 

 

Galford : Well, as you know, evil is still around this world and it's my duty to vanquish them, much like your duty to protect nature. So, I will leave for now. Take care of yourself ! *leave*

Nakoruru : ...

Rimururu : ... Sis ?

Nakoruru : Um... Galford !!

Galford : You called ?

Nakoruru : ... Thank you for everything ! I will never forget you !

Galford : Same here !! I'll see you later !

 

 

Galford, alongside Poppy, ran through the forest. While running, several things came into his mind.

 

 

Galford : (I can't believe that Nakoruru kissed me ! Oh my god... now I'm loving Japan even more...!)

Poppy : Woof !

Galford : I'm okay, Poppy ! I'm... OUCH !!!

 

 

Galford didn't concentrate enough on his run. As a result, he tripped.

 

 

Galford : Dammit... I can't think too much things like that ! My duty is to uphold justice !!

Poppy : Woof !

Galford : All right, I'm sure many evil people like that Sankuro still exist. But ! It's our duty to defeat them ! Right, Poppy ?

Poppy : Woof !

Galford : That's my dog ! We're off then, to eiliminate evil ! LET'S GO, POPPY !!!

Poppy : Woof !!

 

 

With that, Galford set off once more, resuming his neverending quest to destroy evil...
