SAMURAI SHODOWN : LOVE, BOUNTY AND JUSTICE

 

 

Note : This takes place between SS4 and SS2. And I won't be posting chapter titles. Sorry.

 

 

Chapter 1

 

 

It was a fine day in Japan. After the ultimate defeat of Amakusa Shiro Tokisada and Zankuro Minazuki, everything was calm and peaceful. We now change our sight into a transport ship heading to the island of Hokkaido. Inside the ship was the American  ninja as well as the self proclaimed champion of justice, Galford D. Weiler, as well as his dog, Poppy.

 

 

Galford : (Hmm... Should I leave Japan now...? Well, at least Nakoruru has to know first...) Eh ? What's this ?

 

 

Galford spotted a flyer on the floor. He picked it up and saw a potrait of a man that looked kinda stupid with an afro. He's quite muscular and wields a mallet. Below the potrait, was a writing.

 

 

Text : Wanted Dead or Alive : Sankuro. A dangerous thug. Huge reward for those who can bring him to the law.

Galford : Sankuro, eh... I think that name rings a bell... OH ! I remember ! He's the thug that worked for Gaoh ! Geez, I can't believe he managed to survive this long... Right, Poppy ?

Poppy : Woof !

Galford : No matter ! He's out there for too long. But, when he faced justice's wrath, in form of ME, he'll have no choice but to surrender ! Hehehe !!

Sailor : We have arrived at Hokkaido Island !

Galford : All right. Let's go, Poppy !!

Poppy : Woof !

 

 

And thus Galford and Poppy left the port where the ship docked...

 

 

Meanwhile, in the forests of Kamui Kotan, a young and beautiful girl was meditating. She is the guardian of nature, Nakoruru. However, she was suddenly shocked.

 

 

Nakoruru : *gasp* !! I think I heard nature crying for help... Mamahaha, let's go.

 

 

Summoning her hawk, Mamahaha, Nakoruru rushed to the source of cry. There, she saw a man chasing a deer with a huge mallet. The man was none other than the man that Galford saw on the flyer... He's Sankuro !

 

 

Sankuro : Get back here, you runt !!

Nakoruru : Halt it !

Sankuro : Huh ? Whaddaya want, girl !? Go away !

Nakoruru : I will not allow you to harm that harmless deer anymore.

Sankuro : Make me !

Nakoruru : Then, I'm sorry. MAMAHAHA !

 

 

Nakoruru then enchanted her hawk with holy powers to attack Sankuro.  It gave him quite a trouble, for a meddling hawk ! But it gave Nakoruru a chance to attack Sankuro again.

 

 

Nakoruru : Annu Mutsube !

 

 

She slid down on the ground, sweeping Sankuro's feet with her knife. Sankuro was down, but she sensed another thing that was terribly wrong.

 

 

Nakoruru : Mamahaha... leave ! Please...!

Sankuro : What's up, little girl ? Scared ?

Nakoruru : I don't need to.

Sankuro : Hey, Ippachi ! Come here !

Nakoruru : Huh ?

 

 

Suddenly, someone grabbed Nakoruru's legs from behind. It was a skinny thief in green outfit. Nakoruru struggled, but she couldn't do anything without attacking him with her knife, but she didn't dare. So, once again she spoke to Mamahaha.

 

 

Nakoruru : Please leave, Mamahaha ! Tell Rimururu that...

Sankuro : Your turn, Goshichi !

 

 

Suddenly, from the air, a man with huge fists leapt to Nakoruru from above. He then smashed her on her head, and she fell unconscious. Soon, a woman in brown thief outfit appeared as well. Mamahaha finally obeyed Nakoruru's words and escaped.

 

 

Sankuro : Fuyo, you're late !

Fuyo : Sorry, boss... Eh ? That bird got away !

Sankuro : It won't do anything suspicious anyway.

Ippachi : Hey, boss ! This girl... looks kinda cute !

Sankuro : Eh ?

Goshichi : I'm kinda hungry...

Sankuro : Hey, I've got an idea ! We'll take this girl with us. When we escape this island, then we can sell her ! We're going to be filthy rich !!

Fuyo : Wow ! That's a wonderful idea !

Sankuro : Well, for starters, we must tie her up.

 

 

Then, the gang unleashed several ropes. Then, they removed Nakoruru's knife and bent her hands behind her back, and then they tied them on her wrists. Next, they put her ankles together and tied them as well, and also circled more ropes on her thighs and knees. And then, they tied her on her shoulders and waist, creating around 3 circles each. Lastly, in case she would scream or curse (which is very unlikely for a pure girl like her), they pulled a black scarf. They circled the scarf tightly around her mouth, gagging her. Sankuro then carried her on her shoulder.

 

 

Sankuro : Let's wait until night falls. Search for a cave !

 

 

Then, the gang headed off carrying Nakoruru.

 

 

Meanwhile, back in Nakoruru's house, finally Mamahaha arrived, and was greeted by her sister, Rimururu.

 

 

Rimururu : Hey, Mamahaha ! Where's my sister ?

Mamahaha : ...

Rimururu : Eh ? What happened...? What... No... Sis... *sob!*

 

 

After speaking with Mamahaha, Rimururu began to cry.

 

 

Back to Nakoruru, she was lying down unconscious on the corner of a small cavern, while Sankuro and the gang enjoyed eating. She slowly started to regain consciousness, and gave a little moan, but was shocked that only a muffled voice came out. She tried to move, but her tied hands and feet weren't a very good sign.

 

 

Sankuro : Hey, cute girl ! You're awake !

Nakoruru : Mmmmmff ?

Sankuro : You're really cute, and sounds darn cute, especially when you're gagged ! Wow ! I wonder how much you're going to cost...

Nakoruru : (Cost !? Are they going to sell me...) Mmmmmfff...

Ippachi : Boss ! The night has arrived !

Sankuro : Right ! We're outta here !

Nakoruru : MMMMMMPPPHHH !!!

Sankuro : Dammit ! I forgot one thing ! We must look NOT suspicious carrying her ! Get me a barrel !

 

 

The gang then brought a wooden barrel. Sankuro opened it and despite of Nakoruru's scared and semi angry muffled voices, he lifted her up and forced her inside the barrel and closed it. To make sure everything is okay, Sankuro chained the barrel tight. And then, they started to carry it. Inside, Nakoruru found a small hole. With it, she managed to see the surroundings outside. But it certainly couldn't free her. She was left in the barrel to struggle continuously, but with no avail.

 

 

Nakoruru : (I'm really helpless this time... Someone please help me...)

 

 

Meanwhile, back to Rimururu, she was still crying in the night... until suddenly...

 

 

Galford : YO !

 

 

Galford just arrived at the house. However, Rimururu was deep buried in her cry, so she didn't realize that he's behind her.

 

 

Galford : Hey, what happened ? Why did you cry ?

Rimururu : *sob!* Sis...

Galford : What happened to Nakoruru ?

Rimururu : *sob* Someone... someone kidnapped her...

Galford : KIDNAPPED !? Who did that ?!

Rimururu : According to Mamahaha... *sob* It was a guy... with a mallet... and a weird hair... *sob* There's also a skinny guy, a guy with huge fists... and a girl in brown clothes... *sob!*

Galford : Hmm... Guy with mallet... weird hair... 3 assistants like that.... Wait a minute ! Don't tell me it's Sankuro !!

Rimururu : Sankuro !? You mean... that THUG !?

Galford : I guess...?

Rimururu : WAAAAHH !! BOO-HOO !!!

 

 

Rimururu then cried even harder and this time hugged Galford.

 

 

Rimururu : Please save her, Galford !! If she falls to that thug... *sob* I don't know what will happen to her ! Please !!

Galford : ... Don't worry, Rimururu. I promise I'll save her.

Rimururu : Really ?

Galford : Of course ! By kidnapping Nakoruru, Sankuro has made himself an even worse enemy of justice. And an enemy of justice is my enemy as well ! Right, Poppy ?

Poppy : Woof !

Galford : Okay, Rimururu, you can stop crying now. Don't be afraid. I'll return with your sister, and I will not let that bastard hurt her !

Rimururu : Okay... Good luck, Galford !

Galford : Very well ! Let's go, Poppy !!

 

 

Galford then ran off with Poppy. His instincts told him that Sankuro might be at the port town, as girl-selling criminal activities weren't quite abudant in Hokkaido. However, he suddenly thought something.

 

 

Galford : (Wait a minute... If I get this Sankuro... Man ! This kind of work really benefits me ! First, I might get the bounty on his head... Well I can give that for those in need later. Second... defeating a thug like him is truly a chance to uphold justice... And then... oohh...)

 

 

Galford then daydreamed while running. He daydreamed about kicking Sankuro's ass and Nakoruru thanked him. Galford's face turned red as hearts started to pop out above his head.

 

 

Galford : (Nakoruru...)
Poppy : Woof !

Galford : (OH ! Dammit, Galford ! A fighter of justice should not be that hypocritical ! All that matters to me is Nakoruru's safety ! I must save her !! Wait for me, Nakoruru !!).

 

 

And thus, Galford continued his run, although he's more focused this time. Will he save Nakoruru before something horrible happened ?
