Chapter 2

 

 

 

Returning to their castle, Galford and his brothers came to the throne room to meet their father, Moriya.

 

 

Moriya : So, you returned.

Rock : Father, we have to report this dire news to you.

Moriya : About Queen Yuki ? As expected...

K' : How did you figure it out ?

Moriya : We just got new peasants coming to our Kingdom from the Queendom. They say, they can't stand being pressured by the queen.

Rock : Well, it's a good thing she haven't let out a declaration that will not allow the peasants to leave...

Moriya : So, what do you want to report ?

Galford : We just happen to witness another of her insanity. She punished Nakoruru and her sisters for cleaning the castle gate not good enough... by tying them up in the woods, and sending a huge boa to kill them !

Moriya : .... How inhuman...

Galford : We can't let this injustice continue !! Let's put an end to this !

K' : You fool. I can already sense that someone's behind this. If we destroy the Queendom, this land will plunge into chaos.

Moriya : K' is right. The least we can do now is to ensure the princesses' safety.

Rock : So, you want us to bring them here ?

Moriya : Yes. They will also be a great help in our mission to uncover what happened to the queen. Let's hope that by tonight, we can get them here. Get a move on. Now.

Galford, K', Rock : Understood.

 

 

With that, Galford and his brothers exitted the throne room. Meanwhile, back in the Queendom, a female guard came into the throne room, taking a deep bow to Yuki.

 

 

Guard : The princesses draws near.

Yuki : Hmm... As expected. Looks like I can begin my next phase. So, is she here ?

Guard : Yes.

 

 

The guard stepped back, and then a girl with long pants and a karate uniform, and a red headband came inside. She is the chief servant of the queendom, Yuri Sakazaki, despite of her young age and spunky personality. She has served the queendom well, but had to obey the recent personality change of the queen.

 

 

Yuri : Hey, you called ?

Yuki : You dare address me with that loud tone !?

Yuri : Ummm... Forgive me.

Yuki : Well, then, Yuri. I have an assignment to you. Soon, the princesses will return. Tell them that I ordered them to get some mushrooms and take them to the South Shadow Woods. And when they got distracted... kill them.

Yuri : K... kill !? You have got to be kidding me !! I mean, I have known them since they're babies, and now you want me to...

Yuki : You heard me right, wench. KILL THEM !! Otherwise... I will have your family's heads on my plate tonight !

Yuri : *gulp* ... Yes, ma'am...

Yuki : I don't sense enough respect here...

Yuri : Y...yes... Your Majesty...

Yuki : Okay, here are the three baskets. Now scram !!

 

 

Yuki handed down four baskets to Yuri, and then Yuri ran off to meet the princesses, before they could enter the castle. They met at the garden.

 

 

Kula : Hi, Yuri ! Wanna play ?

Hotaru : Hey ! At least shouldn't we rest up a bit first ?

Yuri : Sorry, girls. But your mother just gave you a new task !

Nakoruru : Orders again ? But...

Yuri : This is just some easy task ! We're just getting some mushrooms in the South Shadow Woods !

Nakoruru : I see. Well, let's go, sisters.

 

 

Nakoruru and her sisters followed Yuri to the outskirts of South Shadow Woods. There, they picked up mushrooms, as well as playing with small birds while they're at it. However, they didn't know Yuri's plot. She snuck behind Nakoruru and charged up her ki to attack. However, Hotaru could sense the danger.

 

 

Kula : Y... Yuri !?

Hotaru : Sis, watch out !

Nakoruru : Eh !?

Yuri : HAOU SHOU KOU KEN !!!

Nakoruru : Kyaa !

 

 

Yuri launched her massive fireball, but was dodged. She kept launching to the princesses, until she finally managed to corner them. As the princesses cowered in fear, she used her Shun Goku Satsu ripoff, but as she was just several inches closer... she stopped, and sunk to her knees.

 

 

Nakoruru : Yuri... why...?

Yuri : I... I can't !! I just can't do it ! I don't want to kill you all !!

Hotaru : Kill...?

Yuri : Actually, this mushroom pickup is just a disguise... Queen Yuki ordered me to kill you...

Kula : What !? She wants us dead !?

Yuri : I don't think it's safe in the Queendom. You must run away from her !

Nakoruru : But... where do we go !?

Yuri : South Shadow Woods have been a neutral territority for a long time. Stay there !

Hotaru : But... can't we just go to the Kingdom !?

Yuri : No ! I overheard that the queen sent spies to kill you all if you enter the Kingdom ! Just run !

Kula : Hey ! This woods is rumored to be haunted ! I'm scared !!

Yuri : Well at least it's the safest from the queen's grasps ! Don't worry ! I'll take Mamahaha and Itokatsu to the Kingdom and report this madness to King Moriya, immediately !

Nakoruru : ....

Yuri : What are you waiting for !? RUN AWAY !!!

 

 

Nakoruru had no choice. She took her sisters and went through the 'haunted' woods. As if the woods was enchanted, the princesses saw a lot of horrifying things there. From scary looking trees, to crocodiles, monstrous beasts, etc. They screamed a lot, but kept running in fear. They soon found one normal looking tree. They decided to rest... However, Kula and Hotaru were extremely scared. As they sat, they hugged Nakoruru in tears. Nakoruru herself was also in tears.

 

 

Kula : *sob* Sis... I'm scared...

Hotaru : Don't leave us.... *sob*

Nakoruru : Don't worry... I... I'll... protect you.... *sob* Eh !?

 

 

Suddenly, all the crocodiles and beasts came to them. They hugged each other even tighter, but suddenly, when they looked behind, they found out that the tree was one ugly treefolk, ready to attack them.

 

 

Nakoruru, Kula, Hotaru : KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH !!!!!!!!

 

 

They let out a scream and tried to run, but tripped down. The beasts and crocodiles drew closer. Knowing that they couldn't escape, they cried and sobbed on the ground... until... suddenly, everything became light and lively again.

 

 

Nakoruru : *sob* *sob* Huh ? It's getting light again...

Kula : KYAAAHH !! They're coming to get us !!!

Hotaru : Uh... sis ? But I don't see any danger coming again...

Kula : Eh ? So...

Nakoruru : Looks like we're just hallucinating.

Hotaru : So, what do we do now ?

Nakoruru : I guess we'll be staying here. Let's look for a house.

Kula : Hey, are we staying in this haunted woods ?

Nakoruru : Relax. That was just an imagination !

Hotaru : Sis ! Look !

 

 

Hotaru swoop away some bushes and then they saw one neat house in one open field...

 

 

Nakoruru : Who could have lived in this place...?

 

 

Meanwhile, back to the queen, Yuri never returned to her. This infuriated her.

 

 

Yuki : That wench didn't return... that means, she is dead, and the princesses are not ! Oh well... I still have another plot up to my sleeve...

 

 

Saying that... Yuki left the throne room and entered her personal chamber. Wonder what kind of plot will she be plotting ?
