Small note : This happens after Rock's ending (whereas he agreed to work with Kain)

 

 

Chapter 1

 

 

After that day... Rock Howard has begun his new life with his uncle, Kain R Heinlein. He had always hoped that one day he will meet his mother, but as days passed, it appeared as if that reunion would never happen. Rock is now nothing more than what Billy Kane was to Geese... acting like Kain's personal henchmen in doing his crimes, with loads of promises that he might get a clue about his mother's whereabouts. One day, Kain ordered him to kidnap one of the participants of KOF Maximum Mayhem... the blue haired innocent fighter, Hotaru Futaba. Rock didn't know Kain's intention to her, but he had to obey to find out more about his mother, even though he felt like just some lowly scum.

 

 

After putting Hotaru within the prison, Rock approached Kain in his chamber... only to find him talking in cell phone.

 

 

Kain : Yes, do not worry. The girl is here. I'll see you tonight. Good bye.

Rock : Kain...

Kain : What do you want, Rock ?

Rock : I have a question. Just what do you intend to do with Hotaru ? I don't get it.

Kain : Patience, partner. I know a man that might know the whereabouts of your mother...

Rock : Oh, great. This has been the tenth time you made that same old bull promise.

Kain : I'm serious this time. But, in order to make him talk about it, we have to capture that girl. So, don't worry about it. You'll meet your mother eventually !

Rock : .....

Kain : *cell phone rang* Oh crud. Someone just called. We'll talk about it later.

 

 

Rock had no choice but to leave. He went to the garden of the mansion. A beautiful garden with lots of roses growing in there. Clenching his fist in anger, Rock was buried deep into several regrets.

 

 

Rock : (I feel like a stupid thug...)

 

 

Unable to contain the anger, Rock then punched the wall of the mansion. It didn't receive any casualities, but it did create a small quake.

 

 

Meanwhile, when Hotaru awakened, she realized something weird... She couldn't get up. To her horror, she found out that her arms were spread, and were chained to the ground. The same thing happened to her ankles, chained. She tried to shout, but a muffled voice sure was not a good sign... her mouth has been gagged with a silver duct tape. Hotaru spent an hour, struggling with no avail... until suddenly the ground quaked (due to Rock's punch).

 

 

Hotaru : MMMMMMMMMMMMPPPPPHHHH !!!! (KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH !!!!)

 

 

She shrieked in terror and struggled even crazier... because she was afraid. She has developed a phobia towards earthquake, and she thought that was an earthquake. Fortunately, that quake combined with her recent struggling made the bound on her wrists became less tight. Hotaru used that chance to strengthen her hands with Ki powers and broke free, then released her ankles.

 

 

Hotaru : I must escape this place... But if I tried to bust from the prison door, they WILL catch me. I need an alternative route !

 

 

Hotaru then examined the prison walls. Without Itokatsu to help her, it was quite hard for her to find a weak wall to break. But, she finally found one weak wall. Channeling her ki powers, Hotaru used her Hakki Shou to break that wall, creating a hole. She thought that there's another path from that hole, so she immediately rushed to the hole. Bad move. That hole led her to an open air...

 

 

Hotaru : (Oh my... What have I done !?) KYAAAAAAAHHH !!!

 

 

As she screamed, she started to fall to the ground. However, she didn't expect someone to suddenly jump and saved her from plummeting to the ground. That someone... was Rock. When they both landed safe and sound, Rock started talking.

 

 

Rock : What the hell were you thinking !? You could have died, you know !

Hotaru : Well, I tried to escape... HEY ! You're the one who kidnapped me !

Rock : Oh... that. Damn...

Hotaru : Why are you saving me anyway, you jerk !?

Rock : About that.... I'm sorry.

Hotaru : Hm ? Why are you apologizing ?

Rock : I have no choice. I have to do it to find my mother...

Hotaru : .... Yeah, I heard about you after that tournament. I understand.

Rock : I was seriously against Kain's intention to capture you... but...

Hotaru : Don't worry about it too much. I know that deep within yourself, you are a good man.

Rock : ...

 

 

Much to his surprise, Rock couldn't believe what Hotaru said. After all he did to her, she still called him good ? But that moment didn't last quite long, as Kain entered and ruined the scene.

 

 

Kain : There you are, Rock ! You just recaptured the young lady, I presume ?

Rock : Kain...

Kain : Well, what are you waiting for ? Return her to me !

Rock : ...

Hotaru : Rock...

Rock : ...

Kain : You don't want to see your mother ?

Rock : !! Ugh... Hotaru...

Hotaru : Yes ?

Rock : ... I'm sorry.

 

 

Rock then pushed her to Kain and Kain grabbed her, threatening her neck.

 

 

Hotaru : Kyaah ! Ugh...

Kain : That's a good workout, Rock. Keep this up and you'll meet your mother in no time !

Rock : ....

Kain : Well, shall we return, young girl ?

Hotaru : Let me go, you big jerk ! You're hurting my neck !!

Kain : Hahahaha...

Rock : ....

 

 

Rock saw Hotaru's eyes filled with fear as Kain took her away... but he could do nothing at all to prevent it. He couldn't help but feeling damn horrible to himself.

 

 

Kain brought Hotaru to a small underground storeroom. Her hands were tied behind her back on her wrists, and her legs were also tied on her ankles, knees and thighs, all with a strong, long black cords. The same cords also bound her body on her waist and her shoulder, each forming 3 circles. And lastly, she was gagged over the mouth with a white cloth and she was blindfolded with a dark red cloth. Kain ignored Hotaru's muffled whimpers and also the fact that she had to hop around. He just brought her to a corner with several barrels. There, he pushed her and made her sit down, leaning to the barrels.

 

 

Kain : Heh heh... Poor girl, you don't know what would happen to you...

Hotaru : MMMMMPPPHH !! MMMMPPHH !!!

 

 

Then, Kain removed her blindfold, enabling her to see again. But, nothing more.

 

 

Kain : And I will be sure to enjoy everything... Starting from your cute face... cute muffled voice... your good looks in this situation... as well as... another surprise !! Hahaha....

Hotaru : Mmmmmmpphhh !?

Kain : Well, I'll see you later. Enjoy this moments... while you still can ! Ha ha ha ha ha !

Hotaru : MMMMMPPHH !! MMMPPHH !!! MMMMMMPPHH !!!

 

 

Kain left Hotaru to struggle and yell at him, even though she's gagged and only made muffled yells. As he left, he let out a laugh... a mysterious victory laugh... Just what are he planning ?
