Chapter 5 : It ends... happily or no ?

 

 

Ban : SNAKE BITE !!!

 

 

Ban finally delivered a powerful Snake Bite to Galleon. It impaled him and utterly destroyed Galleon's stone armor. Galleon fell to his knees as he looked at Ban. Suddenly, from the ground, more golems appeared. They are made of metal, however.

 

 

Golems : We'll take care of this... master...

Galleon : Ah, my Metal Golems !! You're dead now, Ban !!

Ban : What...!?

 

 

The metal golems were far stronger than the other golems. In a short time, they made short works of both Ginji and Otaru. And finally, they launched lots of homing missiles to Ban. Ban jumped, and he witnessed what happened to his fallen friends.

 

 

Ban : GINJI !!!

Lime & Bloodberry : Otaru !!

Cherry : Otaru-sama !!

Ban : Damn, Otaru too... WHAT !?

 

 

The scene completely distracted Ban as he got hit and exploded along with the missiles.

 

 

Galleon : HAHAHAHA !!! Finally, you are dead, Midou Ban !!

Lime : BAN !!!!!! You...!! I'll never...-MMMPPHH !!!

 

 

Too late. The other golems quickly clamped the marionette's mouths. They quickly bent their hands behind them and tied them with metallic straps. Then, they did the same to their ankles and bodies. And lastly, they were gagged with silver duct tapes. All ofthe marionettes struggled and moaned for freedom, but the metallic golems were far stronger, so they can do nothing.

 

 

Galleon : Now I can resume my experiments !! AHAHAHAHA !!!

Golem leader : Not so fast.

Galleon : What !?

Golem leader : Take them away !

 

 

The other golems proceeded to take Lime, Cherry and Bloodberry out of the room, ignoring their moaning.

 

 

Lime : MMMMMMMMPPPPPPPHHHH !!! (You'll never get away with this !!!)

Galleon : What's the meaning of this !?

Golem leader : We observed your battle with Midou Ban. And we get one conclusion... you're far too weak as our leader !

Galleon : You... you don't mean to...!

Golem leader : Yes. We will kill you and take over your research and regime ourselves !!

Galleon : You can't do this to me !? I'm your leader !!

Golem leader : We don't need weak leaders !

 

 

With that, the leader aimed a plasma gun to Galleon and started firing plasma bullets to Galleon. Galleon started to melt.

 

 

Galleon : AAAAHHHHH !!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOO !!!!!

Ban : Just one minute...

 

 

*screen shatter like mirror*

 

 

Galleon found himself alive, on the circular platform. The difference is that, there are no metallic golem. And, Ban, Ginji, Otaru, Lime, Cherry and Bloodberry were all in front of him. Then, Galleon also fell to his hands.

 

 

Ban : Did you have a nice dream ?

Galleon : No... I don't want to die... betrayed... *faint*

Lime : ?? What happened ?

Ban : It's a long story. I'll tell you later. But, first, I'm taking this guy to the police.

Ginji : What for ?

Ban : IDIOT !! This guy got a bounty on his head ! If he get him to the police, we'll get extra reward !

Otaru : We shouldn't be here for long. Let's get out of here.

 

 

Thus, Ban and the others escaped the lab, carrying Galleon as well. Upon arriving at the gates, they see two portals.

 

 

Ginji : Now which one is Earth...?

Otaru : And which one is Terra II ?

Ginji : Terra II ? You mean... that planet due to Mesopotamia incident !?

Otaru : Yes, what else ?

Ban : Let's remember this spot. We'll get to Terra II from here to get the reward for you.

Otaru : Got it ! Now which one...

Cherry : I think it's the left one, Otaru-sama.

Otaru : All right ! Everyone, let's go home !

Lime, Cherry, Bloodberry : Okay !

Otaru : Ban... Ginji... thank you.

Ginji : Hahaha... No problem !

Ban : Just remember the reward, OK ? See ya !

Lime : Bye bye !!

 

 

Carrying Galleon, Ban and Ginji jumped to the right portal. They returned to the place where they left off. Then, they surrendered Galleon to the police, and thus they gets their reward... in form of money.... 500 US$.

 

 

Ginji : ... Only this much !?

Ban : Well at least we can pay for our meals before... Let's get Otaru now.

Ginji : How ?

Ban : Use the remote control, dammit ! I still carry it.

 

 

Ban pressed the remote control to open up the portal again. This time, they got to Terra II. After asking several men, they finally arrive at Kasahari Apartment. They were greeted by Cherry.

 

 

Cherry : Morning... Ah ! Ban and Ginji !

Ban : Hello, Cherry. Is Otaru in here ?

Cherry : He's inside ! Please come in !

 

 

Ban and Ginji entered the apartment and was led to the dining room, where Otaru, Lime, Bloodberry and Hanagata were eating just like usual... (Hanagata alone in the corner again).

 

 

Ginji : Yo !

Otaru : Hey, you came ! Have a seat and let's eat together !

Ban : Umm... no thanks. You see... we'll save it for the reward... OK ?

Otaru : Oh, the reward. Hanagata !! Get that reward you promised !

Hanagata : Very well, Otaru-kun ! I shall return in no time !!

 

 

Then, Hanagata ran off, while Ban and Ginji took a seat.

 

 

Lime : Hey, tell me more about that 'just one minute' thing !

Ban : Oh, that. Okay... that's one of my special techniques called Evil Eyes.

Lime : Evil... eyes ?

Cherry : *shudders*

Ban : Hey, I'm not about to use it on you ! Anyway... if someone looks into my eyes, they'll...

Lime : Get hypnotized ?

Ban : Sorta... They will experience a dream of my choice. Either it's a sweet dream or a nightmare. It lasted for one minute, and I can't use it to the same person for 24 hours.

Lime : So... that's why I got that nice dream...

Ban : Yea... I'd rather not let you, a cute, innocent looking girl, see all those violences.

Lime : Otaru, Ban called me cute !

Otaru : He makes a very big point here. Lime, you're cute !

Bloodberry : Otaru... so, she's cute... what about us ?

Otaru : Errr... you're all cute too ! All of you are the best.

Ginji : Hehe... quite a family we have here.

Hanagata : I'M BACK !!! *Huff puff*

 

 

Hanagata returned with one huge box. He brought it to Ban and Ginji.

 

 

Ban : Wow. You carried that heavy box alone ?

Hanagata : There's nothing... that Mitsurugi Hanagata... can't do...

Ginji : It must be filled with lots of gold ! Can we open it here ?

Otaru : Go on. Got the key, Hanagata ?

Hanagata : HERE !!

Ginji : YES !! HERE GOES !!!

 

 

Ginji opened the box. Both Ban and Ginji expected to see either money or a shimmering 24 carat gold. However... what they got... was....

 

 

Just a random melon cut into 4.

 

 

Ginji : What... the... hell ? *veins*

Ban : All those troubles... only for this friggin' MELON !? *veins*

Hanagata : I got my reasons too ! First, Hanagata Industries was on the verge of bancrupty, so this is all they can offer ! Though I worry about it too. Second, why should I give you huge rewards, when you just recovered 3 pieces of JUNK that bars my love with Otaru-kun !? Muhahaha !! I win !!... Eh ?

 

 

Hanagata then found himself facing Otaru, Lime, Cherry, Bloodberry, all with a shady face with veins on their head.

 

 

Otaru : Hanagata... Why do you have to lie...!?

Lime : Lying is bad, Hana-chan...

Cherry : That's one huge crime...

Bloodberry : Hannie... this time I'll rip your skin off your body !!

Hanagata : Aa ! I'm really so...

 

 

Hanagata's face was averted to Ban and Ginji, who became scarier than before.

 

 

Hanagata : ...rry ?

Ginji : Grrr.... *electricity around*

Ban : You call this a reward...? YOU'LL REGRET IT FOR YOUR WHOLE LIFE !!

Hanagata : I'M SORRRYYYYYY !!!! *runs off*

Ban & Otaru : GET HIM !!!!!

 

 

And thus begins a chasing event between Ban and the others against Hanagata, circling through Kasahari Apartment. It lasted quite long, and occassionally you can hear Lime, Cherry and Bloodberry yelling battle cries, or yells like, "SNAKE BITE !!" or "ELECTRIC CRUSH !!". No life casualities are made, though. Poor Hanagata... or should I say Poor Ban and Ginji ? You decide !
