Chapter 4 : Battle with Galleon

 

 

Finally, Ban and Lime reached a huge, wide hall. It has a lot of contraptions like compactors, electric shoes, and also a huge monitor.

 

 

Ban : Where... are we ?

Lime : Eh ? That's the electric chair I sat before !

Ban : That means...

Lime : Yes ! This is his main lab, where that bad scientist kept electrocuting me !

Ban : So, we're in his main lair, basically... Huh ?!

Lime : Huh ? Ban, what is it ?

Ban : Two people... They're coming.

 

 

Ban sensed two people coming behind him. He took a glance behind and readied his hands. But... it turned out to be Ginji and Bloodberry.

 

 

Lime : Ah ! Bloodberry !!

Bloodberry : Lime, you're safe !

Ban : ... Ginji ?

Ginji : AAA !! BAN-CHAN !!!

 

 

Ginji turned chibi and made a mad dash to Ban, then he hugged him.

 

 

Ginji : I thought I lost you !

Ban : Yea. And it's your fault anyway. Think before you press a switch next time !

Ginji : Oookaayy...

Ban : Well, it's good to have you back. And I see you rescued one of the marionettes.

Lime : Who's this, Ban ?

Ban : Oh. This is my buddy, Ginji Amano. *to Bloodberry* Anyway... ugh, my memory fails me. Who're you ?

Bloodberry : Bloodberry. And you are...?

Ban : Midou Ban. Together... we are the Get Backers !

Ginji : Umm... Ban-chan, I think we missed one marionette...

Lime : Cherry ! Where is she ?

Ban : ... No clue. Got any clues, Ginji ?

Ginji : Well I don't know either !

???? : Welcome to my lab !

Ban : Now here comes the kingpin.

 

 

Suddenly, all doors and windows were shut. A lot of robot drones appeared and surrounded them. And on the huge circular platform above, Galleon appeared.

 

 

Galleon : You rescued two of my experimental subjects. But your journey ends here !

Ban : .... Wanna bet ?

Lime : YOU !! Where's Cherry !?

Galleon : Looking for your marionette friend ? Then come over here ! Especially you, Midou Ban... we have some unfinished business...

Ban : ....!? This sure looks interesting... *puffs smoke*

 

 

Ban then jumped to the one of bridges connected to the walls and the platform. Lime also came to Ban's side, while the drones started to move.

 

 

Ginji : BAN-CHAN !!! WAIT !!!

Ban : Stay down there, Ginji ! Take care of those drones with Bloodberry !

Bloodberry : Well, no need to ask !

 

 

Then, both Ginji and Bloodberry started to fight the drones. Galleon himself confronted Ban and Lime.

 

 

Galleon : All right, Midou Ban... You might not remember me... but...

Ban : Who the hell are you...?

Lime : Where's Cherry !?

Galleon : Because of one of your stupid 'Get Backer' mission... my business went bankrupt. I have waited for a perfect opportunity to draw you in... and taste my newly acquired power... EMBODIMENT OF STONE !!

 

 

Galleon then was slowly covered with stones. Slowly he started to turn into a demonic looking stone golem !

 

 

Ban : .... Oh, that millionaire...

Lime : Where's Cherry !?

Galleon : With this power... I will be sure to defeat you !!

Ban : Oh, really ?

Lime : HEY !! Where's Cherry !? ANSWER ME !!

Galleon : Persistent marionette.... well, your friend is over there !!

 

 

Galleon moved away a little, and revealed a mechanical squeezer (a/n : Think of Sektor's non-flame fatality stuff), with Cherry lying down, bound and gagged helplessly.

 

 

Lime : Cherry !!

Cherry : MMMMMMPPPHHH MMMMMPPPHHH !!!

Ban : Oh, so there it is. Later, Galleon ! We'll fight after I save her.

Galleon : MWAHAHAHA !!! Not so fast !!

 

 

Suddenly two stone golems were dropped down in front of Ban and Lime.

 

 

Galleon : You'll have to get past them and then ME !!

Ban : Geez. Stupid critters like these can't stop me !! *hands clenched* SNAKE BITE !!!

 

 

Using just one hand, Ban attacked the golem with a palm attack on its body, and later choked it. In a sudden, Ban impaled through the golem with only one hand, and it ended up destroyed. The other golem couldn't even match with Lime's speed. After quite awhile dodging, Lime delivered a strong punch, sending it to the upper part of the contraptor. However, the lower part still moved to the above. Cherry was still panicked. However, below down there, one of Ginji's electrical shock thrown one drone to some sort of switch. And thus, the lower contraptor was stopped, and not only all, one of Bloodberry's punch managed to pierce through the drones, and attacked the lower contraptor pillar, breaking it. Cherry was thrown to the ground, but Ginji managed to save her in time, then he proceeded to untie her and removed her gag.

 

 

Ginji : You all right ?

Cherry : I'm fine. Thank you very much !

Bloodberry : Err.... Cherry, can you still fight ?

Cherry : I can !

Bloodberry : Good. The more, the merrier !!

 

 

Thus, Cherry joined Ginji and Bloodberry to fight the drones. Meanwhile, on above...

 

 

Galleon : You... YOOOOOUUUU !!!

Ban : All too easy...

Lime : Ban, LOOK OUT !!!

Ban : Huh !?

 

 

Galleon, in a very quick movement, got in front of Ban and lifted him up with a choke using one hand.

 

 

Ban : Dammit...! *cough!* *cough!*

Galleon : I'll choke you to death !! HAHAHAHA !!!

Ban : Urgh !! *uses Snake Bite to Galleon's hand, but no use*

Galleon : I am far more durable than those golems ! Your snake bite won't harm me !!

Lime : Let go of Ban !!!

Galleon : You twit !!

 

 

Lime then dashed in a very quick speed and tried to attack Galleon, but with his other hand, he just delivered a backhand and it hit her accurately, throwing her to circular platform.

 

 

Cherry & Bloodberry : LIME !!!

Lime : Ugh... I can't... lose here...

Ban : *cough!* I can't possibly use Evil Eyes now... ACK !!! *spits a little blood*

Galleon : HAHAHAHAHA !!! NOW YOU WILL DIE !!! GAHAHAHAHA !!!

Ginji : BAN-CHAN !!!!

 

 

However, Galleon weren't expecting one thing. Suddenly, a sai was thrown to the back of his head. He roared in pain and released his grip to Ban.

 

 

Ban : *cough* Huff... puff... Who ?

???? : Sorry I'm late !

 

 

It turned out to be Mamiya Otaru ! He came to help.

 

 

Lime & Bloodberry : OTARU !!!

Cherry : Otaru-sama !!

Ban : Wow, so you came to help, boy ?

Otaru : Honestly, I feel bad on myself. I can't be too dependant on you guys. At least I have to help !

Ban : Well, if you didn't came, I might die...

Galleon : BANNNNN !!!!! NOW DIE !!!

 

 

Galleon tried to choke Ban again, but he dodged.

 

 

Ban : Don't think I'll end up like that again !

Otaru : Let me help !

Ban : No, thank you ! Go down with Lime and help Ginji and the others !

Otaru : But...!

Ban : He's mine... Don't worry.

Otaru : OK... Let's go, Lime !

Lime : All right !

 

 

Then, Otaru and Lime jumped down below and helped Ginji. They soon cleared up the drones, but Ban and Galleon were not done yet, because up until now Ban could not hurt him. Suddenly, Cherry found some sort of yellow square stone. After inspecting it, she then inspected Galleon next.

 

 

Ginji : I wonder if Ban-chan can beat that guy.

Otaru : He'll win. I'm sure.

Cherry : Otaru-sama ! I think I found a way so Ban-san will defeat him ?

Otaru : How so ?

Cherry : This stone seems to be able to weaken him when we attach this to him...

Otaru : Well... that might work. But who should put it ?

Lime : I'll put it.

Otaru : Lime ! But, that's too dangerous.

Lime : Don't worry, it'll be OK !

Otaru : ... Very well, do as you like.

Cherry : Please put it on the hole behind his head ! The place where Otaru-sama stabbed his weapon on !

 

 

Cherry then handed down the stone to Lime. Then, Lime began to glow green. She then ran in an even faster speed, heading through Galleon. She quickly found the spot and aimed to it. Galleon predicted her, but this time, Lime outspeed him, and put the stone in the right place. He then started to get weak.

 

 

Galleon : AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH !!!!! NOOOOOOO !!!!

Ban : This is my chance... Ophiopus within me...

 

 

An image of snake appeared around Ban, circling him, before he finally dashed out for one last attack...

 

 

Ban : SNAKE BITE !!!
