Chapter 3 : Splitting up ! Ban-Lime, Ginji-Bloodberry

 

 

Proceeding through the lab, avoiding traps and such, and fighting any guards that bar their way, finally Ban and Ginji came into a dead end.

 

 

Ginji : All these runs... only for a dead end !? Let's find some other paths, Ban-chan !

Ban : Wait. Look below there.

 

 

Ban pointed to a small hole on the wall. It is too small for any normal humans to enter...

 

 

Ginji : I don't get it... the tunnel is way to small...

Ban : Well, we can use it.

Ginji : How ?

Ban : THIS !!!

 

 

Then, in a quite funny way, Ban squeezed and stomped Ginji until he turned on chibi, with a bump on his head.

 

 

Ginji : Ban-chan... was that really necessary...?

Ban : Yeah. Very necessary ! Now get to the tunnel ! You should fit enough.

 

 

Ginji then got into the tunnel and in the end of the tunnel is another dead end... but on the side wall was... a switch !

 

 

Ginji : Ban-chan, I found a switch !

Ban : Well, what are you waiting for ?! Press it !

 

 

Ginji pressed the switch and suddenly a sound of moving wall was heard... a new path appeared in front of Ginji !

 

 

Ginji : Ban-chan ! I did it !!

Ban : GIIIIIINNNNJIIIIIIIIIII !!!!!!!!

Ginji : Eh...? Ban-chan ?

 

 

Ginji tried to turn back, but the path was blocked. So, he had no choice but to move forward. Meanwhile, Ban himself was suddenly dropped down through a trap door activated when Ginji pressed the switch. After a while falling, he finally hit the ground.

 

 

Ban : Ouch ouch... Now where the heck am I ? *grubbing head*

???? : Mmmmfff !

Ban : Whuh ?

 

 

Ban looked around and what a surprise, he found Lime's prison, open ! Of course, she's in there, sitting down and helplessly bound and gagged. Ban first checked his pocket... but he realized that he left the marionettes' potraits on Ginji !

 

 

Ban : Crud ! OK, try to remember... try to remember... *thinking*

Lime : ??

Ban : You... you're Lime, aren't you ?

Lime : Mmmff ! (Yes !) *nods*

Ban : OK, just stay there and I'll save you.

 

 

Seeing that someone was about to save her, Lime's face changed from being scared to happy. But she was too late to realize why the door was open.

 

 

Lime : !! Mmmmppggghh !! (Hey, don't come here !!)

Ban : There's nothing to worry about...

Alarm : INTRUDER ALERT ! INTRUDER ALERT !!

Ban : Damn !!

 

 

Ban then found himself surrounded with scientists arming themselves with mechanical hands. He then took a glance of Lime.

 

 

Ban : (This marionette... I don't think violence suits her. I have no choice.)

 

 

Ban then stared at Lime's eyes. She didn't know what he's doing, but in instant, she felt like she was immediately untied and her gag was removed. She felt like... she's in another place, a peaceful, happy place. She was there with Otaru, playing happily. It felt so real, she can do anything she wants. Otaru was happy as well.

 

 

Lime : Otaru, I love you !!

Ban : *lits smoke* Just one minute...

 

 

In instant afterwards, Lime found herself returned to the lab again, bound and gagged. The difference is that the scientists that attacked Ban were all unconscious and Ban himself was already inside, and no more alarm ringing. He then proceeded to untie Lime and removed her gag for real.

 

 

Ban : Did you have a nice dream ?

Lime : Umm... yeah ! But, who're you ?

Ban : Midou Ban of the Get Backers. Mamiya Otaru sent me to get you and your friends.

Lime : .... *sad face*

Ban : Huh ? What's with that gloomy face ?

Lime : I made Otaru get worried again...

Ban : ... We don't have time to get sad. The more quicker we find your friends and get out of here, the quicker you can meet Otaru again. Let's go !

Lime : ... Okay ! Umm... Midou ?

Ban : Call me Ban.

Lime : All right !

 

 

And then, both Ban and Lime proceeded through the hallways to find Cherry and Bloodberry. Meanwhile, Ginji finally got out of the tunnel. He had a hard time returning his body size to normal again. But, he was quite late to realize that he has come to a dark room.

 

 

Ginji : Wow, this room is kinda dark... I think I'm lost... BAN-CHAN, WHERE ARE YOU !!??

???? : Mmmpphh...

Ginji : Huh ? A woman's voice ? But, this place is damn dark ! ... *thinks* Hey, I know ! About time for some shocking attack !

 

 

Ginji then gathered electricity around himself. He then spread all lightnings in his body. Suddenly, the room started to become bright. The lights were on now. In front of Ginji was Bloodberry. Even though she's the strongest between the three, she couldn't seem to break free from the ropes that bound her tight. One more thing Ginji realized... he was practically inside Bloodberry's prison ! Ginji then proceeded to untie her and removed her gag.

 

 

Ginji : There, now you're free !

Bloodberry : Whew, thanks, boy. Who're you ?

Ginji : Ginji Amano from the Get Backers ! And you're... Bloodberry-san, right ?

Bloodberry : That's right. Why would you save me anyway ?

Ginji : Ahem... Because... well, Otaru sent me to rescue you and your friends.

Bloodberry : Otaru... He must have been damn worried. We have to get out of here, fast !

Ginji : Okay, but, looks like this place has no exits !

Bloodberry : Now that I'm no longer bound, nothing can stop me. If there are no exits, then WE'LL MAKE ONE !!!

 

 

Bloodberry then proceeded to a wall and then she punched it and destroyed the wall, creating a path. However, she was quite dumbfounded and found several guards pointing their stun guns to her.

 

 

Bloodberry : Whoops, I forgot about that...

Guard : How did you escape !? No matter... return to your prison now !

Ginji : Not so fast !!

 

 

Ginji then leaped to in front of two guards and he placed his hands to two of them on their heads, and channeled electricity on them. Both fell unconscious.

 

 

Ginji : To get her, you'll have to get past me !

Guard : He.... he's no normal man ! Finish him !!

Bloodberry : Hey ! Don't leave me behind ! <3

 

 

Soon, both Ginji and Bloodberry were beating the crap out of the guards. And they're finally done.

 

 

Ginji : Let's go, then. We'll search for your friends !

Bloodberry : OK !

 

 

Then, both also proceeded and continued the search. Meanwhile... back in Galleon's quarter... An assistant came to him.

 

 

Assistant : Bad news ! Two of the marionettes escaped !!

Galleon : Darn them !! Just who are they !?

Assistant : I'll show them then, in the monitor.

Galleon : Hmm... bring the remaining marionette here !

 

 

Galleon then looked through the monitor, seeing Ban running with Lime, as well as Ginji running alongside Bloodberry.

 

 

Galleon : .... I know them... The Get Backers, Midou Ban and Ginji Amano... I guess the police enlisted them to get me ! But, how will they get me... if I have this....!

 

 

Galleon then looked back and faced at his guards, who brought a bound and gagged Cherry. His eyes started to glow evil...
