Jump City, Titans Tower

“The game is Blackjack ladies and gentlemen.” Said Robin passing out two cards each. “Let’s go.” Cyborg smiled at his cards, “I think I can win this. Hit me.” He said Robin threw him a card. Raven looked at her cards and said. “Hit me.” Robin threw her a card too. Beast Boy smiled “I’ll stay.” Beast Boy laid out his cards. “Beast Boy, you only have 5.” Said Raven, shaking her head. “I know, but you’re all going to go over. Watch.” Cyborg looked at the card Robin had given him. “Oh man. I’m over.” He said. “Hit me.” Starfire said. Robin threw her a card. “Oh. I’m afraid I’m over too.” She said. Raven looked at her card and said, “I’m over too.” “See I told you!” said Beast Boy. Robin smiled. “I’ll stay with 10.” Beast Boy’s look changed to shock. “Didn’t consider I didn’t hit already eh Beast Boy?” Robin said smiling.

Suddenly the window burst open. The Titans ducked for cover. A strange ship appeared. “What the hell…?” started Robin. Then suddenly out came a human wearing a strange battle suit. “I’ve only come for Starfire. The rest of you may stand down. You can refuse the offer. But just be warned. You’re up against something you’ve never encountered.” “Did I do something wrong?” asked Starfire. “Sorry. But we’re not gonna let you take our friend away.” Said Robin. “Titans go!” He motioned the other Titans into action. Cyborg fired his Sonic Cannon at Samus, Robin his discs and Starfire her eyes beams. Samus merely smirked and jumped to the side. She looked up to see a green gorilla jumping down at her. Samus dashed out of the way and aimed her blaster and fired three shots. All three shots hit Beast Boy and knocked him down. “Dude, those hurt.” He said.

“AZARATH METRION ZINTHOS!” yelled Raven, as she formed the claw of a raven with her powers and fired it at Samus. This hit the bounty hunter and sent her back. It knocked her into the wall. “Interesting. You are better than I thought.” Samus said smiling. “We’re the Titans. We don’t run from a fight.” Said Robin. Samus stood for a moment not moving. Then after a few moments, she began to laugh. “What’s so funny?” asked Cyborg, pointing his sonic cannon at Samus. “I’ll tell you what. All 5 of you can attack me at once.” The other Titans just looked at her. “If you insist.” Robin said, throwing his Birdarang, Starfire followed soon after with her energy blasts. Raven used her powers of telekinesis to send several objects at Samus. Cyborg fired his sonic cannon. Beast Boy however transformed into a tiger and launched himself at Samus. Samus merely smirked, while the Titans were firing their projectiles, she had been charging her blaster. She fired it at Beast Boy, who was hit by it and sent flying. She then jumped out of the way of the projectiles the Titans had sent at her. She aimed her blaster at Cyborg and fired a missile. Cyborg was struck by it and he went flying. Robin, Starfire and Raven stood for a moment, stunned by Samus’ speed and agility. But Samus took to the air and struck Raven down with a kick. She then landed and punched Robin in the gut with her blaster. Robin winced in pain and collapsed. Apparently the wind had been knocked out of him. She then turned to Starfire and elbowed her to the ground, and then using her grappling hook wrapped it around her.

“Ungh! Ungh!” struggled Starfire. “What do you want with me?” she asked. Samus did not answer. Samus smiled as she prepared to pull Starfire in, but then suddenly Beast Boy, who had transformed himself into a rhino, struck her from behind. Starfire used this opportunity to free herself. Samus staggered back, Robin who had recovered from the blow Samus gave him jumped to the air and threw out a kick that struck her across the face. Raven used her powers to throw Samus over to the window. “Star! Cyborg! Fire!” shouted Robin. Starfire and Cyborg obeyed their leader and fired at Samus.

Samus was too stunned for a moment to avoid the attack. “No!” she shouted. But it was too late she was struck and sent flying out the window. “AAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!” she screamed. The Titans sighed. “Did we go a little too far there?” asked Cyborg. Robin just sighed. Then suddenly before their very eyes. Samus jumped back up onto the scene. “Not bad kids.” She smiled. “But ultimately futile.” “Robin!” Beast Boy yelled. Robin turned his head. “What?” Beast Boy growled as he turned to Samus. “Get Starfire and the others out of here. You have to regroup, she’s too powerful.” “You can’t mean…” “I mean it really.” Said Beast Boy. “Beast Boy, there’s a good chance you could be killed.” Said Raven. Beast Boy just shook his head. “I’ll be fine. Now go!” he shouted as he transformed into a tiger and jumped at Samus. Samus jumped out of the way, but Beast Boy circled her. “Alright then, attack me whenever you feel like it!” she shouted. Robin and the other Titans just stood for a moment too stunned until Robin shouted. “Come on! Let’s move!” Robin said, running in the other direction. “But Robin-“ started Starfire, but then Robin grabbed her by the leg (as she was floating in the air) Raven and Cyborg followed suite. Beast Boy roared as he charged at Samus….

GOTHAM CITY:

Batman, the Dark Knight sat in his chair typing on the computer. Looking for crime results. “Sir.” Said Alfred Pennyworth, his faithful butler. Ever since Bruce Wayne as a young boy lost his parents. Alfred has been his surrogate father. “I do suggest you take a break.” “Alfred. How many years has it been?” Batman said, smiling. “I’ve lost count sir.” Alfred said. Batman just smiled. “Batgirl. Come in.,” he said, pressing the com-link on his computer. “Batgirl?” There was no answer. “Batgirl come in.” he said. There was still no answer. “I’m going out Alfred.” He said, running to the Batmobile. “Good luck sir.” Alfred said, as he watched his master drive off.

Back in 23XX…

“Hold on Zero.” Said the engineer Cerveau. As Zero laid in the healing capsule. “Just hold on…” X, meanwhile watched as Zero laid unconscious. “This time Zero. I’m going to follow you.”

In the land of Hyrule…

Link 1 walked into the royal chamber having just accomplished another adventure. “Your majesty.” He said bowing to the king.

“Please Link, you bow to no one. It is due to your selfless heroism that we are able to live such peaceful lives.”
“Thank you, sir.” Link said, rising.

“But Link, we are need of your services again. Zelda has been kidnapped.”

Link just stood silently, his fist clenched at the side. “I will not rest until I have found her.”

The king sighed contently. “Thank you Link.”

“Do you have any clues to Zelda’s whereabouts?” asked Link.

“Just one.” Said the King. “That reminds I should give this to you.” He got up and handed a note to Link. Link read the note, he growled and said.

“OK, I’ve dealt with this before. I will not rest until I have Zelda back. I will return when I succeeded.” Link bowed once again and ran out the door. “Good luck Link.” Said the King.

Back in Jump City…

Samus threw the unconscious Beast Boy to the ground. “You put up more of a fight than I expected. But all good things must come to an end.” Samus then break into a run. Charging through the doors, going even faster.

“Titans! Keep moving!” Robin said. Robin led his team through the hallway.

“But Beast Boy…” said Starfire. Robin turned to look at her, but there was no time as Samus began to get closer and closer. Robin let out an annoyed shout as he saw Samus getting closer and closer.

“AZARATH METRION ZINTHOS!”

Samus stopped in her tracks and dropped to her knees. “You’ll regret that.” She said, getting to her feet.

“Robin.” Raven turned to her leader. “Take the others and run. I’ll take her down.” Robin just looked at her, but there was no time to argue, he motioned for Starfire and Cyborg to follow him, which they did. Raven turned to Samus, angrily. “Take this!” she said, as she lifted her hands. Samus smiled she aimed her blaster and…

An explosion was heard complete with Raven’s scream. ”Raven!” Robin yelled. “No, damn it.” He said.

Cyborg looked down at Robin. “Robin. Take Starfire and run. I got some business with this lady.” Robin nodded as he grabbed Starfire by the arm. “Alright lady.” Cyborg said, aiming his Sonic cannon at Samus, who had just walked through the door. “Let’s see who’s got the best blaster shall we?”

Samus just shrugged. “Have it your way.” She aimed her blaster at Cyborg and charged it. Both Cyborg and Samus looked each other in the eye. They both fired…

Robin and Starfire ducked into Robin’s trophy room. “OK, we should be safe here.” Robin carefully locked the door, and took out his Bo Staff. “Be ready in case.” Starfire nodded and pointed her hands at the door charging an energy beam. Both waited and waited… until the door was blasted open, the force of the explosion knocked both Robin and Starfire into the wall where they both fell unconscious. Samus walked in, smiling.

“MMMMMPPPPPHHHHHH!” screamed Starfire. Samus had already brought her back to her hideout. Samus sighed and sat back down on her chair. “Well that was exhausting.” She said. “The other Titans besides Robin will be no condition to come after what I did to them.”

“Samus. Two new assignments, then your work in this territory will be done.” Came Derek’s voice. “One is Amy Rose, she’s a pink hedgehog, but she talks and walks like a human. And Princess Peach, ruler of the Mushroom Kingdom.”

Samus waved her hand to Derek “Alright, just let me rest for a little bit.”

Derek smiled. “Very well. Get some rest.”

Back in 23XX….

Zero finally was repaired; he stepped out of the capsule. “Oooohhhh.” He said, groaning. “What happened?”

X came flying in and said. “The bounty hunter took Ciel.”

“What?” exclaimed Zero. “Then I’ve got to find her.”

“Zero.” X said, halting Zero. “You and I both know that you are no match for her with your current body. And I cannot even fight her as I have no body.”

Zero scoffed. “Then what do you suggest we do X?”

X smiled. “Get our old bodies back.” Zero could not even respond…
