Zero stood stunned, for a second. The blast was coming at him, but he quickly leapt out of the way. Samus noticed this and aimed her blaster at the airborne reploid who was brandishing his Z Saber. Samus fired three more shots at Zero, who with his saber deflected all the blasts. Zero landed on his feet. The blasts caused explosions on the top of the base.

Inside the base was the leader of the resistance a beautiful young girl named Ciel, her younger surrogate daughter Alouette was standing beside her. “Ms. Ciel!” said a Resistance member. “There is an intruder on the roof!” Ciel gasped. “Show it to me on the screen quick!” The technicians complied. A huge screen came down and showed what was happening on the roof. Zero was standing with his saber poised ready to attack a strange intruder who was pointed a blast at Zero. “Zero?” Ciel asked nervously.

Zero yelled as he charged at Samus, his saber ready. He slashed at the bounty hunter, Samus dodged by jumping to side, thinking she avoided the attack, but Zero smiled and took his pistol and fired three shots at Samus, who was caught off-guard and struck by all three. “Not bad. Those actually stung.” She said. “I can do much better than that. Your buster, reminds me of my friend X.” Samus shrugged. “X. Mega Man X. The legendary hero who put an end to the evil Maverick Sigma. I’ve seen disc profiling him. My employer has Sigma’s DNA inside him. However we figured it’d be easier to jump to this time period considering X’s current… handicap.”

Zero did not flinch; he continued to aim his pistol at Samus. “Enough talk.” He said, as he fired his pistol at Samus, she ran out of the way. Avoiding more blasts along the way, she aimed her blaster. “Take this nancy boy!” she shouted as she launched a missile from her blaster. Zero let out a look of surprise and jumped to the side. “I didn’t know you could fire missile.” “Oh, I can do much more than that. Anyway Zero, it’s be fun, but I say we end this.” Samus smiled. “Very well.” Said Zero pointing his saber. Zero ran towards the bounty hunter and swung the saber at her, Samus stepped to the side and grabbed Zero’s arm, she pinned it to his back and caused him to drop the saber. But the hero used his leg to trip the bounty hunter. Samus hit the ground and Zero pointed his pistol at the fallen hunter.

“I have you now.” He said. “Do you now?” said Samus, using her legs, she sent Zero flying onto the ground, and Zero brought himself to his feet only to be met by Samus’s fist. Zero retaliated by throwing his own fist at her this knocked her helmet off. Zero stood shocked for a moment. “A-a woman?” he said. Samus just smiled. “Are you that surprised?” “Not really.” Zero said, “I’ve learned to expect the unexpected in all my years of fighting.” Samus walked up to her helmet picked it up and put it back on.

“Enough talk though let’s finish.” Samus aimed her blaster once more at Zero and fired. Zero dodged the shots, picked up his saber and charged he slashed at the bounty hunter. Samus moved out of the way, but her arm was damaged by the slash. Samus looked at it. “No matter. I can fix this easily.” Zero charged again, but Samus was ready this time, as she grabbed the former Maverick Hunter and threw him over to the other side of the base. “I have you now.” Samus began to run at Zero, Zero got up and aimed his pistol at Samus, he noticed something odd happening, and Samus was glowing. Zero fired several shots, but they seemed to be to no avail. She got closer and closer and closer and then Zero was sent flying. “AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!” he screamed. “I’m sorry it had to come to this, Zero, but hey I’m sure we’ll meet again.” Zero fell over the base onto the ground below. There he laid smoking, and electricity emitting from his body. “Ciel…”
He said, before he passed out.

Samus walked onto the elevator, she pressed a button that took it down. “Alright time to get what I came for.” She looked at her wrist. “It’ll take some time to repair the dimensional gateway device, but it shouldn’t take too long.” She arrived on the floor where the command room was said to be. She found some resistance soldiers fighting for her there, male and female reploids all pointing their guns at her. Samus smiled, “Let’s go.” Samus charged her blaster and while the Resistance fighters pointed their weapons at her, Samus soon annihilated them. Samus walked through the pile of corpses and into the command room. There, her target Ciel was holding a little girl. “Ciel. I’ve come for you. If you cooperate quietly I will spare any more of your army who attacks me. The decision is yours.” Ciel shook her head. “You killed Zero, I can not trust you after seeing that.” Samus let out an amused sound. “I did not kill Zero, merely wounded him. And well I gave you the chance.” Samus reached up and grabbed both Ciel and the little girl, “If you harm Alouette I swear to god I’ll…” started Ciel. “You’ll what?” Samus cut her off. “And don’t worry I’m only going to bring her with us for the time being, I’ll be sure to only bring you with me once I repair my inter-dimensional gateway.” Samus smiled, as she carried both girls off who screamed for help.

Meanwhile Zero lay on the ground, broken and electricity emitted from his body. “Ciel, I’m sorry. I failed you.” Suddenly a bright light flashed across his eyes. “X.” he said. “Zero. Are you alright?” said X. “My body’s broken and now some bounty hunter’s kidnapping Ciel, yeah I’m just great.” Zero said X frowned slightly at this. “Zero I’m going to go to the base and I’ll bring back help.” Zero sighed, “Go ahead X. You do that.” Zero moaned and passed out. “Hold on Zero…”

“Come on.” Said Samus tweaking with her arm panel. “This shouldn’t be taking so long.” She said, trying to hurry before the Resistance fighters found where she was hiding. Meanwhile Ciel and Alouette had both been bound and gagged. “MMMMMPPPPPPPHHHHHH!” they both screamed through their gags. They had been gagged with a white handkerchief and tied with rope around their waist and hands behind their back. Ciel looked at Alouette, which was to say, “I’m sorry.” Samus chuckled and walked over.

“Well girls, say goodbye to each other I don’t know if you’ll ever see each other again.” She smiled. Meanwhile outside several Resistance fighters prepared to burst in the room where they found Samus to be hiding. “OK now!” let out the leader. He ran inside followed by others and pointed his gun. “Release Ciel and….” He stopped when he saw Alouette bound and gagged, but she was alone. “Alouette?” he said surprised. “MMMMMPPPPPPHHHHH!” the young girl spoke through her gag.

Back at the bounty hunter’s hideaway. Ciel had now been restrained like the others, her hands bound above her, her feet tied and a piece of tape across her mouth. “MMMMMPPPPPPPHHHH!” they all screamed. Samus observed them all and walked to Batgirl, Serenity and Tea. “Don’t strain yourselves girls.” She said. “MMMPPPPHHH…” Batgirl, Serenity and Tea said in unison. She then walked over to the Zeldas. “Hmmm.” She said. She tightened Zelda 2’s ropes a little more. “Had to be done sorry.” “MMMPPPPPHHHH…” said the Zelda family. “And our newest addition.” Samus said turning to Ciel. “Welcome.” Was all she said before walking away. “MMMMMPPPPHHH” was all Ciel could say. Samus returned to the computer. Derek appeared before her. “Samus, you have Ciel I see. Well done.” Samus smiled. “I fought with Zero, he put up quite a fight, but I caught him off guard.” “You didn’t kill him did you?” Samus scoffed. “No. He’s survived worse.” “I see.” Said Derek, growling slightly. “Anyway. I have a new target.” Samus cocked her eyebrow in curiosity. “Shoot.” Derek smiled. “Her name is Starfire.” An image appeared on before Samus that a pretty young girl with long red hair, her skin was light green. “She possesses the power and flight and energy bolts.” “Hmm.” Said Samus. “Shouldn’t be too much of a problem.” “However. She is not alone. Her teammates include Robin: he is a skilled martial artist and has plenty of gadgets to boot. Cyborg: Half man, half robot. He has a sonic cannon. Beast Boy: He can transform himself into any animal. Raven: She can use telekinesis and mental powers.” Derek finished. “Use extreme caution in fighting them Samus. Do what you will with Raven, Cyborg and Beast Boy. But do not harm Robin. I just want Starfire. Is that clear?” he said. “Not a problem.” “Use caution Samus.” Derek then signed off. Samus smiled to herself, this would be fun…
