“Really?” asked Jack. “I just don’t see that happening.” He laughed. “Fire!” he yelled.

His men fired their laser guns at the heroes; Samus shot a few dead with her blaster. X and Zero at first hesitated to fire.

“I don’t know Zero. The number one robot rule is to: Never harm a human being.”

“That may be true.” Said Zero. “But these guys aren’t exactly from our world.”

X sighed and reluctantly agreed. He didn’t like it, but he would do what he had to do to help Zero rescue Ciel before he returned to being a Cyber Elf.

As the battle waged on, Derek watched as the battle began to rage, he tapped his fingers on his desk. “Soon, they will be mine. I will succeed where my father failed.”

Derek got up from his seat and walked down the hallway, as sounds of the battle echoed throughout the hallway. He walked into the room where the girls were being held inside their cylinder tube. Their heads were bowed in sadness and silence. They were also now kneeling on the floor. Derek walked over to the 5 girls. “I don’t know how long Jack’s men can hold them off. I want you take care of them, especially that traitor Samus.”

“Yes sir.” Said Dana, as they ran out. Derek watched them go as he turned to the bound and gagged girls. “Those ropes too tight?” he asked. Looking down at Barbara. She put her head up and looked at him. “Good.” He said.

“MMMPPHHH.” She responded.

He then walked around to Starfire (who was next to Barbara) and Raven, who were sitting side by side. “He means a lot to you doesn’t he? Robin I mean.” Both girls looked up at him. “To you Raven, he’s like a brother. To you Starfire, he’s much more than a friend. He’s somebody special to you isn’t he?”

“MMMPPPHHH.” Both girls responded. Derek smiled.

Jack stood in awe and horror as he saw his men go down one by one. “My god.” He said. “You really are tough.” He said.

“No more games.” Said Batman. “Where is he?”

“The Boss?’ asked Jack, he smiled and then laughed. “You killed him. He’s not here.”

“Tell us something we don’t know.” Said Link 2.

“Yes. Where are the captives?” asked Yugi.

“Oh, they’re with Derek.”

“Derek?” asked Zero.

“The son of the Boss.” Jack said.

“Whoever this ‘Derek’ is, he made a bad move at kidnapping some of our own.” Said Robin.

“Perhaps, sadly. You’ll not live to face him. Ladies?” he clapped his hand and instantly the five girls flipped over him and upon landing, took fighting stances. “If you please. Help me fight these heroes.”

“With pleasure Jack.” Said Dana. Each eyed their desired opponent.

”I’ll take Robin.” Said Lauren. “I beat his girlfriend and I can beat him too!”

“I’ll take Link. That one.” Jackie said, pointing to Link 4.

“I’ll take I’ll take X.” said Donna.

“I’ll take Zero.” Said Dana.

“And I’ll take Batman.” Said Jack.

They took their fighting stances. The heroes did the same.

“You beat Starfire?!” declared Robin. “I doubt it!”

“Yes!” she hissed back at him. “And in one hit as well.”

“What? I don’t believe you could beat Star that easily.”

“But I did. And we beat Raven just as badly.”

“Raven?”

“Yes, we have her too now.”

“Damn…”

Robin shook his head and charged at Lauren, who stood her ground. Robin threw a high- flying kick at Lauren’s head, but she merely ducked and struck the Boy Wonder in the chest. “Oh!” he let out. He landed on the ground, only to be struck by a leg to the chest, before Robin could respond he was punched in the same exact spot. Lauren using her legs, tripped Robin and as the Boy Wonder landed on the ground, she grabbed his throat and lifted him up into the air. “What the hell? Ugh! Ugh!” he said, as he was beginning to lose his breath.

“You know even your weakling girlfriend put up more of a fight.” She said to him.

Derek opened the tube. The girls all looked at him, he approached Serenity, who was getting scared as he reached down.

“MMMPPPPHHH!” she said, but he merely grabbed the rope that had bound her and the others together. He picked all of them up single-handedly with one arm.

“MMMPPPPPHHHH!” all the girls yelled in surprise.

“I’ve got some plans for the battle ahead.” He said, as he walked out the door.

Batman and Jack were busy trading blows, while X was aiming his buster at Donna.

“Freeze!” he yelled.

“You can’t do it? Can you?” she asked him. X growled.

“It’s against your code. That’s why I picked you.” She said.

“X!” yelled Zero, as his punch missed Dana. “Don’t think! Just shoot!” he yelled.
