Samus was charging her blaster; X took notice and did the same to his Buster. They both fired at the same time, the blasts connected and blow off, and X and Samus shielded themselves from the blast. As soon as the dust cleared, Zero came swiping at Samus with his saber, Samus dodged the attack and struck Zero across the face, but Zero responded with a kick to the chest.

“How did you like that?” he taunted.

“Not bad.” She admitted. But before she could compliment any further, Yugi’s Dark Magician struck her from an attack.

“That was for Tea and Serenity!” came the voice of Yami Yugi.

“Yeah and this is too!” yelled Joey, as his Flame Swordsman came at the bounty hunter, the creature tried to bring the sword down upon Samus, she dodged the attack and blasted the creature to pieces. Samus smiled, but she was struck in the chest by what felt like a little ball of spikes, electricity emitted from his suit as she saw the blower of the strike to be Sonic the Hedgehog. Samus jumped back, only to be met by the explosive bat-a-rangs of Batman and Robin. Then Mario and Luigi, taking out there fire flowers. Both sent them at Samus, which pelted her in the stomach. Samus flew back from the combined explosion.

Derek observed the battle like he always did. “Things don’t look too good for our bounty hunter.” He said. “Oh well. She’s expendable.” He smiled as she groaned in pain, as she tried to stand. He turned his head, “Back already?” he said.

Dana was holding the sack that held Raven. “Yeah.” She said.

“Let them out.” He said.

Dana opened the sack that held Raven. She was tossed out and landed on the floor. “MMMPPHH.” She responded.

The sack containing Starfire and Ciel was opened; they were tossed onto the floor. “MMMPPHHH.” Both girls responded. Starfire’s eyes widened at the sight of Raven.

“MMMPPPHHH!” she shouted, to try to greet her friend. Raven turned her head sadly. Soon the other girls were set free from their sacks.

“MMMPPHHH!” they all shouted, as they were forced to sit up on their knees. Derek walked over and upon smiling began to introduce Raven to the time.

“Meet your new friend, girls. Her name is Raven, but I believe Starfire already knows her.”

“MMMPPHH.” Starfire shouted at him.

“But the battle approaches. Ladies take them to the computer lab. Put them in the tube and tie them together.”

The girls solemnly bowed and picked up the bound and gagged captives. The girls strained and shouted, but it was no use.

“Now let the heroes come. Oh, speaking of which Samus’ brainwashing should wear off right about…now.” He said, looking at his watch.

Indeed, Samus felt as though something left her head. “What the hell just happened?”

“Now bounty hunter! You shall pay for your crimes!” said X, pointing his buster at her.

“Huh? No, wait! I was not under my own power.” She yelled, desperately.

“What?” said X.

“You expect us to believe that suddenly you’re a good guy? I don’t think so.” Said Zero.

“No, it’s true really! I don’t expect you to believe me, but…” she said, waving her arms.

X looked at the others. “What do you think?”

“I don’t know. Anyone have a truth detecting device?” asked Sonic.

“I do.” Said Batman, as he walked over to Samus, she looked scared, Batman reached down and pulled off her helmet, he looked directly into her eyes, after a while, he backed off. “She’s telling the truth.”

“How do you know?” asked Zero.

“Trust me.” Said Robin. “He does.”

Samus let out a sigh of relief.

“Tell us what happened.” Said Batman.

And so Samus told her story. Derek and his men had captured her. While strapped to a chair, they placed a strange looking helmet on her. She screamed as a strange feeling through her head and before she knew it, she was under the control of Derek and doing his bidding.

“So you mean to tell us? She’s a “good” bounty hunter?” asked Luigi.

“Yes. I serve the Intergalactic Bounty Hunters organization, which is assigned to wipe out threats throughout the galaxy, and I’ve now realized that this is one of them. I will help you in anyway I can.”

“Your assistance is welcomed.” Said Link 3, outstretching his hand. “Welcome aboard.”

Samus shook his hand.

Derek banged his hand on the table in frustration. “She was supposed to die! Damn it!” He growled and pressed a button on his panel. “Jack, get your men ready. Take them out at all costs!”

“MMPPPHHH!” the girls yelled, as they were bound together by a single rope, they were currently standing on a circular platform, some like Barbara, Serenity and Zelda 1’s feet were touching the ground. Others like Zelda 2 and Amy were left dangling in the air.

Dana pressed a switch; which closed the tube. “Enjoy your time.” She said, while smiling.

Jack and his men stood at the entrance point with guns in their hands. “As soon as they arrive. Blow their brains out.”

The door began to come down, soon it was blasted open by the combined powers of X and Samus.

“Your days are numbered Jack!” said Samus.
