The heroes began to finally prepare to the assault.

“So, that’s the story? We all have a girl to go in there and save. Now, I’m sure you’ve all seen the damsel in distress story before. Does it get old? I guess not since all the villains do it. But that doesn’t mean any difference to me. Now let’s go in there and just save the girls!” shouted Batman.

“Yeah!” shouted the rest of the heroes. Just as they were turning to begin their assault, a familiar enemy met them, Samus had returned to action.

“A very compassionate speech, but now before you can begin your little rescue mission. You face me.” She said in a nasty voice.

Meanwhile Raven was getting worried. “Robin? Robin? You there!”

”Sorry Raven. Can’t talk, about to fight the one who kidnapped Star and all the other girls. Talk later!”

Raven just watched as Robin signed off. “Good luck.” She said. And she meant it.

“Your going to need it too Raven.” Said Dana. Raven gasped as she turned her head to see 5 women standing behind her.

“Ah!” she screamed in shock. “Who are you?”

“We’re just minions of Derek.” Said Jackie.

“I’ll have you know. I fought your friend Starfire, and beat her with one hit too!” taunted Lauren.

”Oh yeah?” said Raven. “Well, maybe I’m more powerful than she is?”

“A bold proclamation.” Jackie said.

“Let’s see if you can live up to it. Cyborg and Beast Boy won’t be coming to your rescue. They won’t be getting up for a while. Samus really got them.”

“Shut up and fight.” Said Raven, raising her hands she shouted. “AZARATH METRION ZINTHOS.” She brought the floor around them crumbling to pieces. The 5 women warriors leapt out of the way. “YOU WON’T TAKE ME WITHOUT A FIGHT!” shouted Raven, as she sent telekinetic beams at Diane, who leapt down into the abyss. Raven sent another one at Lauren, who leapt out of the way and tried to attack Raven, but Raven dodged the attack and threw Lauren down after Diane. Jackie and Donna tried a double attack on Raven, but the girl summoned a shield that rebelled their attack, sending them screaming down the pit. Dana took advantage of Raven’s off guard. She struck with a high kick to Raven’s head. Raven screamed as she fell in the center of the room below.

Raven groaned as she got to her feet, Dana jumped down and the girls formed a circle around their target. “Ah gee, that’s too bad Raven. I guess you’re not as tough as you think.”

Raven growled. “If I could. I could kill you in a blink of an eye.” She shouted.

“But you can’t right? You can’t bring yourself to kill someone, you’d become more like your father.”

Raven gasped.

“But anyway. Enough is enough time to do our job! Ladies, power up!” called Dana. As she and her friends began to hold their hands out in front, with their palms outstretch, energy began to build, Raven noticed this, she started to utter her incantation. But it was too late as the attack was unleashed upon her. Raven felt electricity running through her body as she screamed in pain. The immense power had begun to tear her clothes off; it went on for about 5 more seconds. All that Raven was wearing was her underwear, Raven noticed this, but knew it was not important.

“AZARATH METRION ZINTHOS!” she shouted. But much to her surprise, nothing came out. “What did you do to me?”

“The same thing that happened to Starfire. We took your powers.” Said Lauren.

“Ladies, I think it’s time we truss our captive up don’t you?” laughed Dana.

“Yeah.” Said the other girls evilly, taking out rope. Raven gulped, the girls advanced on her slowly at first and then sprung on her. Raven struggled and strained. “ROBIN!” she shouted.

Far away, Robin heard her cry for help. “Raven?” he said, turning around.

“You ok Robin?” asked Batman.

“Yeah, it’s nothing.” He said, but he could’ve sworn he really did hear Raven he shrugged it aside.

Meanwhile Derek witness Raven’s bold, but futile struggle. He smiled.

“MMPPPHHH!” the screams were still coming from the sacks. He walked over to Starfire and Ciel’s.

“Raven will be joining you shortly.” He said.

“MMPPH?” said Starfire, confused.

Meanwhile back at Titans tower, Raven had been bound with her hands behind her back, rope around her waist, immobilizing her arms, her thighs tied and ankles. She had not been gagged, well at least not yet anyway.

“What are you going to do with me?” she asked.

“Nothing much, you’re just part of the bait.” Said Lauren, pulling out a brown cloth.

“Whatever happens, Robin will save Starfire and me-MMMPPPPHHHH!” Lauren tied the cloth over her mouth. Raven scowled at the one who had just gagged her. “MMMPPPHHH!” she shouted. A sack was thrown over her head and it was tied shut. Raven kicked at the bag, trying to get out. But it was no use. Lauren put the bag over her shoulder. The girls, having completed their task, returned through the newly opened portal.

Meanwhile the heroes prepared to face down Samus, each wanting nothing more than to pay her back for her abductions. Samus aimed her blaster.

“Let’s go heroes….”
