Shelby and Nick put the night at the beach in the back of their minds. They still were falling for each other, though. They were now on tour again for three months.

I sat at the table signing autographs at our meet and greet. I looked over at Nick and she smiled at me. Sean was being babysat by Leighanne in my dressing room.  "What are were going tonight after the concert?" I asked him as I signed a CD and passed it to the short, red headed, about 13 year old, girl standing infront of me.  "I don't know. How about we have one of your movie marathons?" he suggested.  "Sound cool!" I looked up at the person standing before me and I did a double take.  "Uh...hi James. Ohmigod!" I stood up and gave him a hug. He was a frined of mine from highschool. We went out once, but decided we'd just stay friends. Damn! Was he even hotter! His dark brown hair was cut short and spiked halfway with gel. He was tall, thin, and muscular, wearing a wifebeater under his unbuttoned Hawiian shirt. His brown eyes had a mysterious look to them, and he had a chin dimple.  "Hi, Shelby. I heard you were in Atlanta and I live here now, so I have to come!" He pulled back from the hug and looked downat me. I grabbed a backstage pass from my purse and handed it to him.  "Here. I have to get back to signing autographs. I'll talk to you after the show."  "Okay. Thank." He hugged me once again.  "Enjoy the show." I smiled and waved as he walked away.  "Who was that?" Nick asked as I sat back down.  "Oh, that was James. I went to highschool with him," I told him as I went back to signing my John Hancock.

I was in my dressing room after the how feeding Sean a bottle. There was a knock at the door and I yelled from them to come in. I saw a brown head poke in and then the body. It was James.  "Hey," I said as Sean squirmed a little in my arms.  "Hi. I didn't know you had a baby," James replied as he shut the door behind him.  "This is my nephew, Sean Thomas Cholson." I rubbed his head messing up his thin blond locks, and he smiled up at me into his bottle.  "Alea's? How is she and your mom?"  "Well, they died four months ago in a car accident, and this little guy," I stroked Sean's cheek with my index finger,"was only eight months and still in his mommy, but they did a susarine, and I got custody of him."  "Oh, I'm sorry," he apologized as we both took a seat on the black couch up against a wall.  "Thanks. So, how you been?"  "Good. I'm studying to be a lawyer."  "Hmm...I could see you as a lawyer."  "Yeah. Suit and tie is just my thing!" he joked.  "Well, you wore one to graduation didn't you?" I asked. "All the girls were going crazy over you, but I set 'em straight! I told them you don't know what's on the inside!"  He just laughed and put his arm around on the top of the couch. Why did I feel a little uncomfortable around him? He's changed in looks a bit, but was he still the controlling my-way-or-no-way guy I used to know. I guessed I'd have to find out.  "So...um...are you going anything tonight?" James wondered.  I remembered the movie marathon Nick and I had planned. I could take a rain check with Nick. Couldn't I? He's understand. Right? "Well, Nick and I were going to have one of our movie marathons like we always do."  "Movie marathon?"  "Yeah," I nodded my head,"you stay up all night watching movies and whoever falls asleep first is the loser. They have to the the movies, pop, popcorn, junk food, and whatever for the next one. The past five times it's been me."  "Oh," he said dissappointedly putting his head down.  "But I can take a rain check with him, though. I'm sure he won't mind."  "Okay. I was thinking of taking you to a really cool club I always go to."  "All right. You can wait at teh small little area outside while I change." I stood up and took the now empty bottle of milk from Sean's mouth.  "Okay. I'll see you then." He smiled and walked to the door.  "Bye." I put Sean on a blanket I laid on the couch and gave him a small stuffed bear. I then grabbed a shoet balck dress from the rack of clothes by the window and looked back at Sean. He was sleeping peacefully with a small smile on his adorable face. I slipped out of my jeans and started to take my shirt off when I heard Nick's voice.
