I Believe the original Brewer Family Reunion was held in 1957. It was for the descendants of James Brewer. Because other relatives wanted to attend, this was later changed to the descendants of James' father, Lewis Brewer, and remains that way today. Friends and guests are always welcomed, though.

This is a picture of the James Brewer Family. The picture was probably taken about 1920. I believe the picture that I have is an enlargement of the original photo. The quality was not very good. I have tried to enhance it a bit, but my program, and my skills in using it, are limited. James Brewer is in the center of the first row. Belle Brewer is to his left, and Leslie Brewer is to his right. The two young boys in the middle row are Tom Brewer and Ray Brewer. Standing in the back row are, from left to right, Roy Gobel Brewer, Courtney Brewer, Fannie (Rose) Brewer, and Sarah Brewer.

This is Lewis Brewer, the grandfather of us all. His parents were Willis Brewer and Mahalia Maynard. Details of this photo are not known to me. If you know anything about it, please contact me.
