Scott's
Room(#690Rt)
The room you are looking at could be
unoccupied by all visual accounts. The owner is obviously very particular about
how thing are setup and what ammount of clutter is acceptable. And that's no
clutter. This room looks as clean today as it did way back when Scott moved in.
The only thing that gives away the fact that this room is occupied is the fact
that there is an X-men uniform folded up nicely on the top of the dresser, and
a visor laying upon it. There is also a pair of red sunglasses laying on the
nightstand next to the alarm clock, which is set 15 minutes fast if you bother
to notice.
Obvious
exits:
<O> leads to Boys' Wing.
Boys'
Wing
The boy's wing of the mansion is as
simple as the rest of the upstairs hall - white walls, beige carpeting and
plain wooden doors. A door at the end of the hall leads to the bathroom.
Obvious
exits:
<W> West leads to Upstairs Hall.
<BR> leads to Bryce and Jace's Room.
<SR> leads to Scott's Room.
<SHR> leads to Shay's Room.
<LJR> leads to Leo and Justin's Room.
<SER> leads to Sam and Evan's Room.
<CBR> leads to Jared and Baldwin's
Room.
<KTR> leads to Kurt's Room.
Upstairs
Hall
Once the staircase ends, the building
gets much simpler. At the top of the stairs, white walls and beige carpeting
stretch in three directions, and a set of large windows on the north provide a
view of the back yard.
Obvious
exits:
<E> East leads to Boys' Wing.
<S> South leads to Center Hall.
<W> West leads to Girls' Wing.
<D> Grand Staircase leads to Foyer.
Foyer
The foyer isn't much of a foyer at all
- instead, it's more like one, huge room, accommodating several doors and a
grand staircase in the center of it all. The stairs take up most of the room,
wide enough to allow several people to pass without trouble. A somewhat faded
carpet runs up the center of the stairs, hiding and protecting the polished
wood floor that is worn in other places. The ceiling is high, allowing plenty
of room for an ornate, brass chandelier and tall windows that cover a good
portion of the walls. Wide hallways stretch to the left and right of the front
door, and a pair of passages are left open to either side of the stairs.
Beneath the stairs is a fairly well-hidden elevator door, and on the back wall
behind the stairs are sliding glass doors that lead into the backyard.
Obvious
exits:
<U> Grand Staircase leads to Upstairs
Hall.
<E> Elevator leads to Elevator.
<RD> Right Door leads to Dining Room.
<LD> Left Door leads to Living Room.
<O> Out leads to Front Porch.
Front
Porch
The front porch is small and simple, composed of white concrete and a
sloping banister. The front door is set into a half-circle fixture that juts
out of the building, accompanied by a pair of windows, one on either side. The
porch is short and narrow, not particularly designed for sitting, though it
does allow a nice view of the grounds and the plants surrounding the Institute.
Obvious
exits:
<I> Inside leads to Foyer.
<S> South leads to Front Lawn.
***Drive
to Miranda's Party***
Roof
Coming off the elevator, one steps
into a large party room. The wall is comfortably lined with black leather
couches, glass and slate end tables between each piece. More tables rest in
clusters around either side of a black and white marble dance floor. The tables
have glass tops with slate legs and modern looking black laqured chairs flank
four to a table. There is a small sitting area off to the side, around a faux
fireplace with a dial to turn it on resting on the wall. The mantel is made of black
glass. On the opposite side of the room is a bar and kitchen area, the bar
black glass topped and black and silver barstools wrap around the outside. The
other two walls of the room are all sliding doors flanked by black gauzy
curtains, leading outside onto the decks.
The deck is possibly the nicest area
of the building. Over looking the city, it's a grand view from 33 floors up. A
large "in-ground" pool with turquoise blue and black liner rests on
the western half. It's about 20 by 40 feet and can fit at least 20 people at a
time. On the southern side is a barbeque area, patio funiture, and a raised
jacuzzi that can seat at least 6 people comfortably. Iron rimmed street lamps
rest at various areas around the deck, illuminating it well at night.

Obvious

<E> Elevator leads to Elevator.
Mirikon
doesn't hear Amara talking about him, because he is underwater. But he soon
comes up for air, and looks around, trying to make sure nobody is talking about
him in relation to the cold water. But he doesn't say anything, just slips off
to the side of the pool, watching everyone a little suspiciously, and a good
bit nervously. But he soon gets over whatever it is that is bugging him, and
relaxes.
Jonothon
grins to Lex. "No' like w' worry about th' cold anyhow, yeh?" Taking
a moment to appreciate first Miranda's piercing, and then the look of Lex with
her hair down, his eyes light up like little lecherous suns at his beloved
shepherdess.
Evan
ends up coming a little bit later than expected, maybe. He'd met someone down
on the street he just needed to talk to, who was leaving the party. Yes, the
glory of friends who are NPCs. But he shows up now, from the elevator, moving
at a brisk walk to catch up behind Kitty and Justin. He rubs one elbow
slightly. (No, no elbow pads. He has enough sense not to wear them to a party
like this!)
Trey
may look a bit familiar to the students of Xavier's... He's often seen sweating
around the grounds keeping everything looking nice. Logan's Assistant, at
Groundskeeping anyway. However, the sight of him in swim-trunks might stop most
of them from recognizing him. He walks back over to Miranda. "Step in a
little deepa, sugah... It'll help ya get used to it."
Ororo
has arrived.
Justin
takes a deep breath as he tries to summon back his courage. It seems to be
slowly returning to him. Reaching out with a gloved hand he taps Tabitha
lightly on the shoulder, "Um, excuse me?" his voice just loud enough
to be heard over the music, but not loud enough to get everyone's attention.
While doing so he nervously looks around for Evan or Kitty, he could sure use
some moral support now.
Keith
has arrived.
The
elevator dings as it arrives at it's destination, door parting to allow it's
occupants to enter the 1920's themed party that is being held on the roof. As
the car empties, two of it's occupants seem to stand out a slight bit more.
Scott takes a few steps off the elevator, his arm interlocked with the arm of
Tessa. The smile on his face is something not often seen for as long as it's
been there. He takes a minute to adjust to the lighting and noise levels, then
looks to Tessa for reassurances that she's okay to move on as well.
Looking
slightly nervous at Trey, Miranda finally sighs and just jumps, diving
shallowly head first into the water and kicking/paddling through the actually
rather temperate pool. It is only shocking for a few moments, before she
resurfaces half way down the pool, her red hair now clinging to her face and
neck...Oddly, it seems she wasn't wearing any makeup. At least none of it
runs..
Tabitha
takes a sip from her cola, her eyes looking cooly in Miras direction and huhs,
"....." As if suspecting something, though she doesn't make a big
deal of it, nor really laughs to the misfortune of the waters temperature which
suprises her a little. Still stareing at the woman she replies to her roomie,
"Heck if I know, I haven't gotten that far in the plan yet.. Kinda
suprised the heater's out of whack." But before that little light bulb can
go off she suddenly looks to the left- Did she just see someone? "... That
guy? Oooooh! Oh right, yeah!! ................. Nno.. What was his name
again?" Mirikon, "Of course." when Willaim introduces himself,
Tabby can't help but chuckle to him, and give a thumbs up, "Hey, nice to
meet you Willy, I'm Tabitha.. Dude, you don't look so good, did you have too
much punch?" asked with an amused chuckle. To the tapping, Tabitha
suddenly turns her head to Justin and gives him a pleasent smile, "Hey
there, who're you?"
Tessa
nods slightly at Scott, patting his arm. "Let's go," she says, taking
a step into the party further. Her gaze sweeps across the group assembled, but
doesn't see many in the group she finds familiar. "I am relying on you,
here. I do not know many of those assembled," she tells Scott. Something
in her tone of voice indicates that she and Scott probably had a similar conversation
on the way down to the party itself.
Click, clack, click, clack. The slow
churning rythyme of footfalls sounds off against the rooftop as long legs lead
a tall, forbidding form towards the gathering. Her pointed heels are like
chisels, every stride sounding off with a hushed, yet definitive clack. As she
draws within view, a fingerless brick red gloved hand rises to the arm of her
mirror shades, adjusting them lightly on the bridge of her nose as unseen eyes
survey the scene. A tilt of her form as she steadies on her heels refractes
light in a myriad of pourous, fluid blots across the scales of her form fitting
jacket. A strangely familiar outfit, on a strangely familiar figure, not
instantly recognizeable as Ororo Munroe.
Alexandra
rches a brow at Tessa and Scott. The look she gives Scott is not very
friendly...in fact it could freeze Scotch in someone's mouth.....So it is true
then. Poor Kieran. So Eye beam boy has taken up with yet another telepathic
female. Still has'nt got the emotional goolies to tell Jean his feelings then?
Typical! She had to deal with Betst's pain over the matter. Gods willing Tessa
is better equipped for it......
Selena
has arrived.
Snicker.
Ahem. Amara takes a step back as Tabitha starts talking to William and Justin,
and turns to William, curtseying politely to him, "Nice to meet you
William." She scoots to the side to allow Tabitha to talk to Justin, and
glances towards Tabitha, "I'm going to go see if I can find Mirikon. I
should at least say hi." She notes, before gently withdrawing and making
her way towards the pool. Giving it plenty of berth since she doesn't want her
dress to get wet.
Jonothon
sighs a bit at Scott and Tessa arriving, though hopefully not too many sparks
will fly. Then, turning, he looks back at the entrance...and a psychic
signature that looks remarkably farmiliar. "...well, th'n..." This
was both unexpected and quite surprising.
Scott
glances down and gives Tessa a reassuring smile, "Something to
drink?" he asks as he slowly makes his way through the crowd and towards
the refreshment table. It's been a bit of a trek, and while he enjoyed the ride
and the company, his mind was preoccupied with the fate of his vehicle. But
having seen it outside, he's calmed down and relaxed a bit. Besides, not too
much harm could have come to it. Phasing girl herself, Kitty, was one of the
passengers. Mr. Summers continues to weave his way through, leading Miss Niles
towards a less occupied part of the roof until she's comfortable enough to
venture out more.
Evan
moves around Justin as he stops, managing not to brush by Tabitha. He pauses as
well as Amara moves out in front of him, giving her a sort of cursory, 'Oh,
I've seen you' sort of smile. He probably would be less relaxed if he was aware
Ororo was there, that's for sure.
Kitty
wanders about the party, chatting with random people and then moving on,
cheerfully smiling the whole time. She loves parties and she loves getting to
see all those people that she rarely sees. Every so often, Kitty glances about
the room as if searching for someone. She's kinda wondering where one of the
hosts has gotten to. He did invite her in person after all, she was looking
forward to seeing Keith again.
Mirikon
slips back to the side of the pool, and rests with his arms up above the lip of
the pool. He smiles as Amara comes towards him, and waves to the hot-natured
girl when he thinks she is looking at him. But otherwise, he just enjoys the
nice cool pool. Much better than sitting around Bayville, that's for sure.
Justin
tries hard not to look Tabitha directly in the eyes before his courage leaves
again. Instead he settles for stealing glances at her when she's not paying
attention, "Um, Tabitha. I brought something for you, can we talk in
private, a moment, please?" again he tries not to be too loud with his
words at least enough to be heard. Hearing the elevator ring. His eyes shift
over to see who has arriived. thanking God for the brief distraction.
Och. Tabitha not only calls him Willy
a shortening of his name that he finds barely tolerable, just a notch above the
dreaded Bill, but then she has to go and point out just how wan he looks. He
shrugs his shoulders in a smooth roll, "William, or Will if ye please
Tab'tha. An' nae, tis nuthin' like that. Tis jest how I am," he says and
leaves it at that as the girl turns about to face Justin. To the departing
Amara he offers another bow of sorts, "Twas nice meetin' ye as well."
Trey
mimicks Miranda's Motions, emerging a short distance from her. "An' AH
thought you were breathtakin' in yer dress..." he comments, in a humorous
tone. He's having a great deal of fun here.
Selena
isn't one to show up to a place and dress properly, oh no. That's just not her
style. Instead, she's somewhat gothed out, eyes slitted while trying to figure
out just why she came. At least she's tolerating the music, for now. Folding
her arms lightly across her chest, she glances from side to side while slinking
towards the closest edge of the rooftop she can find. Luckily for her she tends
to blend in a bit, so who knows for how long she's been lurking in the shadows?
Miranda
turns her head, noticing a few other's finally approaching the pool, namely
Amara, and that makes her smile a bit wider. She's still at Trey's side though,
and not shivering quite so badly, though her pale skin is covered with
goosebumps now..."You are...entirely too flattering, Trey...And why
haven't you come to visit before?" She purrs in his direction, a darker,
yet still warm smile caressing her features....
Smiles
are returned to William and Evan both, more warm to Evan since he's familiar,
at the least. Giving a light wave to Evan to boot, she continues towards
Mirikon, when she spies him by the edge of the pool. Spying the wave from
Mirikon, Amara lifts her hand and waves back, "Hello Mirikon," Amara
greets, waving to the others in/at the pool as well. She doesn't slip out of
her dress yet, mind, since she's wearing her suit beneath - she did just say
she was saying hello. She bends her knees slightly and leans over a bit, not
wanting to kneel on the floor. "How long have you been here?"
Alexandra
hands reach up behind her neck to remove the silver and amethyst choker, her
movements slow and sensual...she is putting on a show....be scandalised if you want...she
does not care....the top is slipped off to reveal a strapless purple bikini top
spattered with metallic silver, brushing aside her hair she reveal a Celtic
knotwork tattoo http://www.aon-celtic.com/cgallery/cgallery2.html on her left
shoulderblade.....
"A
drink would be adequate," replies Tessa, in her usual detached way. She
follows at Scott's heels, peering over his shoulder to see what's available,
refreshment-wise. "I do know how to dance," she informs the boy,
"..should you wish to." That's part of the point of a party, yes?
Jonothon and Alexandra receive arched eyebrows in return, though she has yet to
say anything to them.
Jace
has arrived.
Mirikon
smiles up at Amara, and says, "Well, I rode in on the bus this afternoon,
courtesy of this nice lady who gave me a bit of money." More like, wasn't
watching her purse. "I've only been here an hour or two. How have you
been? It has been a while since I saw you last." He chuckles a bit,
remembering the last time they met, under much different circumstances.
Well at
least she isn't saying she's put off by it? Tabitha nods to Amara, waveing to
her, "Knock'm dead, girl," she says before taking another slip and
glances to William again, "Will?" she asks, "Well.. It's kinda
plain, but all right, if you insist.." she won't put up a fight about it,
company's good! "Oh really?" she replies in response to his look and
grins, "Wow, I could hook you up with something that'd look really good on
you ya know. Any chance you go to Bayville?" another pause as she looks to
Justin again, and well.. She can pretty much smell his nervousness- Though she
can't help but wonder why that's the case, "You got something for
me?" she replies, obviously suprised, "What is it? Didn't you bring
it? Where'd you put it?" she leans in and tries to throw an arm over the
mans shoulder, grinning broadly, "Talk in -private-?? Oh come on, it's
just me and Will here, he won't tell anybody, right Will? Right?"
Ororo
breaks from her stationary position, that rythyme sounding off again, the
seaping of fibres across twining muscle like a dance against the conforming
garments that engulf her, the clap of her coattails a soft putter. A feral
inclination to her movements casts a predatory shadow over her, an eclipse of
something carnivore and hungry. Invisible eyes sit on one figure, fixated like
a cat on a rodent, watching as it shifts through the underbrush, never losing
sight, never breaking loose of it's target. Scott is her obsession, and as she
closes, there seems some palpable moment of closure approaching, like a kill on
the way, the scent of blood already on the air. A hand drifts up from where it
hangs at her side, and fingertips set on the back of the boy's neck like the
legs of a spider. Slowly they follow his hackles up towards his hairline, as
her words are like a coarse slumber, some dreamlike murmur from between stiff,
almost unmoving lips, "I've come for a dance. Is your card full?"
Jonothon
takes the top and choker from Lex carefully, folding them and tucking them under
his arm. Undoing his own ponytail tie, he lets his hair slide away while
waiting to help with the rest, watching the others. This is turning into quite
a show.
Alexandra
the tattoo is located on her left shoulderblade, it covers a bullet scar she
got in Genosha. Tessa recieves a polite nod of greeting, she then continues to
undress.......
*Ding!*
The sound breaks Keith out of his somewhat dazed state, still recalling the
events of the past week and more recently the past eves. But, those are for the
time behind him, the future opens up on to the roof of his apartment building,
where he shows up beyond the fashionably late mark for his own housewarming.
How ironic, is it not? Stepping out, Keith adjust the coat of his pure white
Zoot Suit, with white hat and pants, the only colored part of him being the Red
tie he wears about his neck with a black cat designed upon it. Smiling at
already hearing the jovial sounds, Keith makes his way towards the pool area.
Selena
glances towards the hot tub, biting her lower lip a bit, an elongated pointy
canine fang pressing against the soft flesh. She lifts a brow as she
contemplates making her way over to it, but she's not sure if she wants to join
the people already using it just yet. It does look inviting, though, so while
she thinks no one's looking she quickly squirms her way out of her shirt,
leaving her wearing just a vinyl bikini top.
Fortunately,
Miranda was intelligent enough to keep all the alcohol in her apartment. So
though Ororo might not quite approve of this many kids together, unsupervised,
there is nothing illegal happening. Yet. The current object of MIranda's
attentions, Trey, seems to have taken himself off elsewhere, and she was not
about to float alone in the pool, so she pulls her slender frame up out of the
water, dripping soaked and slightly shivering, she doesn't move to pull on her
cover up again. Not yet at least. She pushes two palms through her hair, trying
to wring it out a bit so it's in damp ringlets and not just sticking to her face
and neck as she pads back into the party, wide smile on her face...Just
searching for trouble, really. Or maybe just her cigarettes.
Alexandra
the skirt slips over her hips revealing French cut bikini bottoms to mat the
bikini top, she slides the skirt down long, slender, shapely legs, then
gracefully dteps from it as it pools at her feelt.....
Amara
says, "I've been pretty good.. I spoke with the Professor about you coming
to the School, and he agreed to help. Just get in touch with him sometime during
the week, if you haven't already. If you're still interested, I mean." She
smooths the skirt of her dress carefully, "This place is really nice; I've
never been to New York before. Have you?" She looks up briefly, this time
spying a few others from the School. Scott, Tessa; Evan, Justin. Hrm."
Jonothon
slips the skirt up into his hands, folding it over, and then kisses Lex softly
with a smile. "'Ll b' back in a mo', luv..." Then, he disappears into
the room Miranda pointed out for changing and putting all of their clothes away
safely.
Kitty
glances to the elevator as she hears that happy ding sound. Oh look, it's Keith
finally. Miss Pryde starts weaving her way through the crowd towards him. She
has to thank him for inviting her after all.
Justin
looks up at Tabitha then decides to walk away. Since this obviously isn't
working. The skunk headed boy walks over to the edge of the roof to look over
and check to see if the car is okay. Leaning against the ledge, he decides to
watch her from afar instead. With arms crossed, he begins to wonnder why he's
letting -one- girl mind screw him so much. Brushing the wayward strands of hair
away from his eyes as he watches Tabitha. Guessing the flowers stay in the
trunk of the car fr now. Looking up at the night sky. He tries to make out the
various star through the haze of smog as well as the glare of the city lights
reflecting off the smog. Giving the party a quick once over, oh look.. its
Scott! Staying where he is for now seems to be the best thing for him. Best to
brood alone and he's just lost that partying mood.
Alexandra
she gently steps from her strappy, heeled, silver sandals, folds up her skirt
and hands them both to Jono. She opts to keep the amethyst studs in her ears
and the amethyst pastie in her belly button She returns Jono's kiss.
Jace
quietly rides the elevator up to the roof. Over his normal garb, he's wearing a
black denim long coat, fastened closed and hood pulled up. He glances at Keith,
letting him get off the elevator first, then he steps out onto the roof,
sliding back against the wall.
"That'd
be fun." Scott replies with a smile as he turns and hands his date a Coke.
Then the fact that he didn't ask her what she wanted dawns on him and he gets a
bit flustered. "Um, I mean, is Coke okay? Cause they have some other
stuff, too." His cheeks start to turn a light red. He tries to get rid of
his embarassment with another smile when suddenly and hand is on his neck and
he spins around. Seeing Ororo, he blinks behind his glasses. "Um, Ororo.
Hey. Didn't expect you to be here. Um," he moves aside and gestures to
Tessa, "You know Tessa, right?"
And
then, Miranda spots her prey. Her ice eyes flare a bit at she sees the woman,
older it seems..Not nearly as young as some of the kids that actually showed
up. Nice body, form fitting jacket...Stylish gloves and the shows that show off
her legs. Oblvivious to who Ororo actually is, she just sees a woman worthy of
a good dance and drink...Miranda, heading back to the bar, grasps her towel and
actually tries to dry off a bit so she can tug on her wrap overtop of her suit,
looking a bit more suitable now though it still clings to a few damp areas. She
then bends, grasping at her silver cigarette case and withdrawing one to rest
between her lips. It's lit up..and she's headed straight for the woman...but
then pauses. She was hitting on the Scott kid from the
institute.."..Perfect.."..Miranda murmurs under her breath.
Mirikon
smiles at Amara, and says, "Yes, I'm still interested. Thank you for that,
Amara. I saw this school of yours. Nice place, if a bit fancier than I'm used
too." He chuckles, and then nods. "Yes, I've been here before. It was
actually my third time through the city when someone suggested I go to
Bayville. It took me a little longer to find the bus fare to get there, but I
got there. I can show you where the best grates to sleep on are, though."
He laughs, only half-joking.
Will blinks, "Bayville?" he
says in an obviously bemused and unknowning tone that should answer the question
easily enough. He gives a rueful grin and thinks that this Tabitha lass could
do with a slow motion control or an emergency brake or something. Before he can
say anything else she's off and running, snapping upon Justin's thread of
conversation and then trying to drag him along into what the other would
obviously prefer to be a private conversation. He's about to bow out gracefully
when Justin instead retreats. "Och.. perhaps ye should go after 'im lass.
I'm sure wha' ever it twas is impor'ant ta 'im, I think..."
"It's
fine," Tessa assures, taking the offered coke. "Don't worry about
it." Ororo's arrival causes her to spin on her heels, eyes narrowing
slightly. "Miss Munroe? Clever disguise," she comments, once Scott
has revealed who the woman is. "I would have dressed up myself, but I did
not know what was appropriate." She sips some of her Coke, ndding her
thanks at Scott once more. "So, the girl who's throwing this party,"
she says, regarding Scott, "..she's a friend of yours, you had said?"
For Keith,
the first stop is to grab some food. Of course. When you're a growin' boy you
need to eat. Grabbing a pop instead, he cracks open the can of cold Dew and
drinks some of it before turning around and finally starting to look at the
people gathered. Some he knows, some he doesn't... but he only invited two
people personally to the party, and it's time to find them. Looking around, he
attempts to find the first of the two, seeing her instead heading towards him
and smiling a bit.
Nyssa
has arrived.
Bryce
has arrived.
Alexandra
remembers something, goes over to where Mira stashed the basket and fishes out
the box wrapped in silver wrapped in blue ribbons and heads towards Keith at a
quick, graceful pace......
Miranda
giving up on her current conquest, and seeing her Roommate finally arrived at
the party, she now feels free to go partake of some free beverages herself.
Well not free, she paid..She might as well enjoy. "..I'm headed down to
the apartment.." She calls over the room. The few she's told will know
what that means. Now, still smoking her cigarette though it's rather illegal in
the halls, she turns out of the room and to the elevator...to 1601
Selena
starts inching her way towards the hot tub, looking from side to side with a
hint of a panicked look on her face. Must use ninja-like stealth to avoid being
seen until she reaches the water. Yes.
Amara
arches an eyebrow. Ew. He'd /better/ be joking, because she'd be positively
disgusted otherwise. "Um.. I think I'll pass.." Amara remarks drily.
"Thanks anyway though." Eheh; not /quite/ able to mask the distaste
for sleeping on grates. "But maybe next time." Touring New York, that
is. Her card is all full up this weekend. "I'll have to introduce you to
my roommate. We came to the party here together, but I think she's busy talking
to someone." She looks up, peering, "Yeah." Hrm.
Kitty
grins and waves to Keith "Hey." she says as she finally reaches him.
"Did you just get here?" she questions, curious since she hadn't seen
him earlier, but now he's here.
Trey
emerges from the pool, finally getting his fill of the pool. He grabs one of
the offered towels, and slips into the washroom to change. A nicee, relaxing
swim can do wonders. He emerges, in time to hear Miranda make taht proclamation...
and so, he heads that way himself.
Jonothon
takes only a moment in the side room, then pauses to return back, still
clothed, oddly enough, and returns to Lex, helping her to dress once again.
Ororo's
lips curve up into a half-grin, which seems strangely dark for her usual
demeanor. Most might have been upset if such a ruse failed so miserably, but it
just seems to amuse her, perhaps in spite of herself. Her current costume
though, even with identity revealed, can't shed away it's effective sharpness,
as if she had ceased to be den mother, and was suddenly an ominous stranger.
Even her voice seems colder, and flatter, perhaps simply an effect of the
visual, "Yes, Tessa and I are well acquainted. And how are you enjoying
yourselves? I don't mean to crash, but a little bird suggested I.. take a leave
of character. I thought it might be pleasing."
Tabitha
's eyes wander again, and she murmurs to herself, "Beep beep; Tramp alert,
we need back-up, stat." but suddenly finds herself nearly falling over as
she completely misses snagging Justin. She stares for a moment, then looks to
William and frowns a little to his advice. She rubs the back of her head and
then nods with a weak sigh, "Well I suppose. It was nice chattin' with
ya.. See you later.." of course as she walks off, she looks to Keith, and
points to him, "Hey! Be careful, that stuff will lower your sperm
count!" That's your little fast fact for the day. She also spots Miranda,
as she seems to be exiting? More than likely headed to where the 'real' party
is at. That or the restroom. The blonde nibbles her lower lip as she looks in
Miras direction, then Justins, then Mirandas again, "... Damnit.."
she mumbles to herself and decided for now to forfeit her chance at mischeif,
eventually reaching the black-and-white haired boy, "Yo, what's up?"
Nodding
slightly, Keith smiles ever so minutely. "Yeah, just got off of work and
came home... glad to see that no one split out though, at least... glad there's
still people around." Taking a sip from his Dew, he talks on. "Glad
you could make it Kitty, been having a good time?"
Ororo
The earth seems to have painted the
caramel skin of this tall, authoritative figure. Deep and rich is her flesh,
and it is wrapped over features carved to bare prominance, and nobility. The
sheers of broad cheek bones, and narrow ridges of her brows, encapsulate eyes a
shade of dazzling, watery-blue. Surfaces of sapphire tinted underneath with a
strange, forbidding quality, a turmoil and strength that grants itself to her
powerful, exotic countenance. Her face is framed in the purest snow white, hair
like spun snowflakes, ravelled up into a dozen knots.
A pair of stylized purple sunglasses
conceal her gaze, giving her features and altogether more granite, polished
quality, almost robotic, bringing together the symmetry of her narrow
cheekbones, firm jaw and full lips. Over her body is drawn a sleek crimson coat
composed of jagged alligator-like scales, each grasping at their own ruddy
shimmer of colour. It conforms to the shape of her athletic form, billowing out
from the curve of her hips to to clap against her knees. Underneath, red vinyl
pants and shirt are plied to her flesh like a second skin, completing the
strangely sterile, macabre look.
Altogether, she is an image of grace,
and fortitude, yet also, gentle, and approachable. She seems somewhere between
absolute authority, and a tranquil calm, as if to maintain within herself a
constant discipline, while openly accepting of those who would seek her.
Miranda
has left.
Alexandra
hands Jono a box wrapped in silver paper and blue ribbons, then dresses
quickly, neatly....till to look at her you would have never known she was
undressed. She then strides towards Keith and smiles at him "Eve'nin' tae
ye Keith...somethin f'r ye new place....
Mirikon
laughs, and smiles up at Amara. "I was joking, you know. Relax, and enjoy
yourself." He smiles, and then looks around. "Oh? Which one is your
roommate? I still don't know that many people from Bayville."
Trey
has left.
Jonothon
offers Kieth the box, grinning. "I think y'll like i'...an' w'gave Mira a
larg'r baske' f'r th' place, t'."
Jace
notices Tessa. Slowly, casually, he moves over to her, stopping a yard or so
away. He takes a hand from the large pocket it was shoved into and pulls back
his hood enough to let her see his face. He waits until she's not busy and
looks toward him before trying to get her attention.
Amara
chuckles, "Oh, of course." She blushes a bit sheepishly. Eheheh. She
knew that, really! Ahem. As he asks which one is her roommate, Amara is tempted
to say 'The loud one'. Instead, she straightens from where she was crouched,
and points across the room, "Over there; the blonde talking to the ..other
kid."
Selena
pauses, thinking she heard a familiar voice. Turning a bit to see if she was
right, she smiles a bit to herself as she moves in Kitty and Keith's direction,
lifting a hand to wave towards them.
Justin
watches Tabitha finally acknowledge that he exsists in her world, whatever
reality that is. Then as her attention is upon him. He switches his expression
to a more stern and determined one, "We need to talk, if you got a
second!" he yells out over the music not caring who hears anymore. The
sudden realization that you can't live in fear of what people think of you hits
him like a speeding truck on the highway.
Scott
raises a brow and takes a moment to look Stor...Ororo over. And he's rather
impressed. His eyebrows move up as he realizes that if he hadn't seen her hair,
it's color being a giveaway, he wouldn't have even noticed that he was about to
go dancing with one of his teachers. As his lips curve up into a lopsided grin,
Scott gives a nod of approval. "Well, Tessa and I were about to do some
dancing I think. But after that, I'm definately sure that I can make some room
for you." With his attention focused on Ororo for the moment, he has no
clue that Jace is tryin' to mack on his chick, or however that goes. "It's
good to see you out at a place like this." Not that he's forgotten Tessa,
but he rarely sees a teacher out like this. And he's sure Logan wouldn't be
caught dead at a party like this.
Kitty
nods "Well, I like just got here even with Justin driving super
fast." Pondering for a brief moment, she inquires "Do you drive like
that too, is it a guy thing?" Course Kitty hasn't gotten behind the wheel
as of yet, so she's not familiar with the rush of controling something at high
speeds. Totally different than when you're a passenger. "Pretty cool party
though. Like, theme and everything." Giggling, she adds "Even dressed
the part, huh?"
Bryce
glances about as he checks out the party. His expression is curious and he
appears to be calm and focused.
The
late arrival, every party has to have one. And of course, the late arrival
would be the one that attracts the most attention to herself. Not only did
Nyssa come tearing down the street to the apartment building on the run from a
cruiser, but she just has to practicaly pounce in the door of the apartment,
flinging it open if it's closed, and probably hitting anyone too close. She
blinks at the sound of the 1920s music and arches an eyebrow slightly..not what
she was looknig for. She walks a bit more calmly now, looking for the hostess
of the party with a 26'er of vodka in hand as her gift. But then..it occurs to
her that she doesnt really /know/ who the hostess is. Right..ehm, just sit this
down on a table and edge away, edge away. Now to look for someone that she
knows.
Mirikon
stretches his neck up, and looks around, but he can't see from his vantage
point all that well. So he crawls out of the pool to see. "Ah, she looks
nice." He smiles at Amara, wondering what she is thinking.
"Well,
you can't show up to a 20's theme party you're hosting and not actually dress
the part, can ya?" Hearing Alex, Keith turns to her and smiles, receiving
the package and opening it carefully, leaving the wrapping enough on and seeing
the shirt within the box without pulling it all the way out. Grinning, he leans
forward and kisses Alexandra on the cheek. "Thank you." Turning to
Jono, he nods a bit and smiles. "Thank you as well... glad you two could
come." Then, from the corner of his eye, he catches a hand waving in his
direction, seeing Selena, he smiles wider and waves in return before speaking
to Kitty once again. "And no, I actually drive the speed limit... most of
the time, unless I'm late."
Tabitha
's eyes widen a bit to Justins sudden yell, and twists her face a bit,
"Hey, there's no need to yell Jazz doesn't get -that- loud you
know.." Yeah, she does seem to be living in her own little reality, but
she only see's things the way they -should- be, that isn't so wrong, is it?
Stepping beside the other teen, she raises an eyebrow and then smirks, "We
need to talk, huh? Justin, right? Amara's already told me about the whole
incident in the D. Room, and she's really cheesed with you. If that's what you
wanted to tell me, I already know. It's no big deal to me, of course, but you
probably want to apologize to Triple A.." as she lifts her hands and rests
them behind her head.
Ahh,
there's someone she knows. Tessa raises a hand, offering Jace a wave in reply,
nodding in his direction. "Dancing immediately is not required," she
tells Scott, hand resting on his elbow. "You may dance with Miss Munroe if
you wish. Or we may exchange you as a partner after each dance, as well."
It is, of course, up to Scott, which is why she keeps her gaze focused on him,
waiting for his response.
Selena
grins back to Keith, pointed and not at all human looking fangs presisng
against her lower lip. She glances over to Kitty again, nodding a bit.
"Hey." Well, at least she's not being mean tonight, that's gotta
count for something. Right? "Nice suit, man. Got the pocketwatch too, or
what?"
Dalila
has arrived.
William has done his good deed for the
night in sending Tabitha off after Justin. Ahhh.. it feels good to be noble and
just. Now with that out of the way it's time to slip off for some not so good
deeds. With a grin the lad tosses back the rest of his soda and leaves the
container behind on the bar. Yes it's time for something with a bit more bite.
With that in mind he begins working his way through the crowd of folks towards
the elevator with firm intent, though he will stop to chat if anyone intercepts
him along the way.
Evan
has left.
Amara
isn't really thinking much of anything; well that's not entirely true. She's
thinking that it's a pity that the water's cold, cuz she'd wanted to hop in the
pool too. She's wondering what Tabby's talking to Justin about -- but then she
won't have to worry about that for long, since Tabitha tells her everything
anyway. Gotta love the gossip between friends. :3 Turning back to Mirikon, she
hms, "Are you still sleeping outside in that outdoor theater?" Seems
she's totally blanked on what it was called. ^^
Jace
steps closer to Tessa whilst eyeing the people in the immediate vicinity. He
leans down to whisper to her. "Hey. You look nice today," he starts,
but his tone changes a little, softening. "Is this a mutant-only party?
I'd have dressed nicer, but until I get an image inducer from Professor Xavier,
I don't want to take any chances."
Justin
quirks and eyebrow at Tabitha's comment. Then he decides to just grab her hand
and tries drag her to the elevator, "Com'on Tabs, I have a present for
you." he says thinking he knows how to get her to be more cooperative.
Pressing the button to go down and as soon as the door opens, the boy walks in
dragging the lively blonde with him, hopeful she doesn't kill him while they
are alone. He's read somewhere that certain girls like men to be assrtive.
Since this type of action is completely uncharacteristic for him.
Kitty
nods, glad to hear that from Keith "Must just be Scott and Justin
then." As Selena nears and says hello, Kitty responds cheerfully,
remembering seeing the girl around school. "Hiya."
Mirikon
smiles at Amara, and shakes his head. "No, I found someone who is letting
me sleep in an old buick outside the store where she works. So I've been able
to get in from the rain, which is nice. And the seat cushions are a helluva lot
better than concrete." He laughs, and says, "Even got some decent
food to eat there."
Alexandra
has left.
Jonothon
has left.
Dalila
has left.
Smiling
at Selena, Keith shakes his head. "Nope, the pocketwatches were all sold
out. The only thing I was able to find was a matching glowstick." Grinning
at the inside joke he coughs a bit. "Oh.. Uhm, Selena, this is Kitty.
Kitty, this is Selena... I think you two are about the only people I really
know that came to the party."
Ororo
rocks her head in a mild nod to Tessa, a play of shadow and light visible on
the knots into which her normally free flowing, snow-lake hair is drawn. A hand
rocks behind her back, fingers curling in aganst her palm as knuckles sit on
the small there. The other drifts up from her hip, palm opened skywards as she
waits for the boy to take it. Those shades can not truly disguise her eyes,
which stab at Scott with a disconcerting intensity from behind the heavy purple
hue. "Then take my hand, Scott, but and I will show you how I dance."
Tabitha
looks right back at Justin, still looking rather pleased with herself, despite
how uncurrent this party is. It seems a lot of people are cool, but part of her
really wants to annoy the upperclassman. However even -she- didn't expect to
suddenly get dragged along by the guy, she yelping a bit in suprise- and as she
staggers along, tries to discreetly slip a little flash of yellow light into
his back pocket when he hits the elevator button. She then smiles sweetly, as
she's dragged along inside, "Oh wow, really? It's funny you say that
because o/~ I have a present for you too, Justin!"
Selena
rolls her eyes as she holds back a laugh. "Maybe next time, then. And nice
to meet ya, Kitty. Though, I gotta ask. What'd you do for your parents to give
you a name like that, huh?" Kidding or not? Who can tell with her.
"Haven't really been paying any attention to the others here. I was about
to go sneak a dip in the hot tub while no one was looking."
Amara
nods at Mirikon, "Well that's a relief. I heard that it was going to rain
pretty heavily Monday." She's been watching the weather report, see.
Straightening at the sound of a familiar yelp, she quirks a brow at the sight
of Justin dragging Tabitha. Furrowing her brow, she half murmurs to Mirikon,
"What's all /that/ about?" If she knows her friend.. well.. this
won't end well.
William
has left.
Scott's
smile grows as he reaches out for Ororo's hand. Hoping that Tessa is playing
the psychic game as she usually does, he brings a thought to the forefront his
his mind. *If you need me, I'm but a call away. I'll be back in a few.* Hoping
that she got his message, but unsure, he turns so that he's standing next to
his instructor and begins walking with her to the dance area.
Justin
has left.
Tabitha
has left.
Nyssa
doesn't really know anyone here, apperantly..so time to make for the door..
Kitty
smiles to Selena "Oh hey, I'm like, sure I've seen you around. Now I know
your name at least." Giggling, she adds "It's short for Katherine.
Nickname just kinda stuck, you know?" Glancing back to Keith, she grins
"Hey, we'll keep you company then, don't worry."
Keith
blinks at Kitty and blushes, holding up his hands. "Whoa, whoa... two
beautiful girls offering to keep me company?" Looking around, he grins
further. "Is there... like a hidden camera around or something? Some sort
of joke?" Taking a drink from his Mountain Dew, he nods towards Selena.
"The hottub idea was a good one... Kitty, you bring a suit?"
<<
I know, Scott. Don't step on Miss Munroe's feet. She may need them. >>
Tessa glances to her date, nodding. She turns to face Jace now. "I do?
Thank you," she replies, bowing her head at the compliment. "I do not
know, admittedly. The individuals throwing this party are unknown to me, but
Scott was told to bring a guest.. and thusly, I am here with him."
Selena
ahhs. "Well, I guess that explains it. And it's not too hard to miss me,
y'know? I tend to stick out in a crowd. Not sure if that's a good or bad
thing." She squints at Keith, bearing her fangs a bit towards him in a
predatory look of bemusement. "One beautiful girl, one highly rabid chick.
Get it right, man. And I'm up for the tub if you guys are. Don't mind sharing
if you two don't."
Tessa
Standing about five feet, five inches
tall, Tessa is a rather slender girl, though her body bears the curves of a
maturing body. She has shoulder length hair, which curves around her head, framing
her face. Her hair is not any naturally color; it has been dyed navy blue, as
have her eyebrows, to make them match. Her small eyes are blue as well, but
they are a lighter, sea blue. High cheekbones slender out her face, giving it
the same feel as the rest of her body.
Tessa wears a velvet black choker
around her neck, which has been adorned with a single silver star. Over her
torso is a snug-fitting black velvet shirt. The trim around the collar and
cuffs of the shirt is silver thread, done over and over again so that it may be
noticed. Her legs are covered over in tight black jeans, and a black leather
belt with silver studs in it hold the jeans over her hips. For shoes she wears
heel-less leather boots; the cuff of the jeans go over the boot, hiding the
tops of the boots from prying eyes.
Mirikon
smiles at Amara. "Really? I don't exactly get cable where I'm at. That's
good to know, though. I'll try to stay indoors as much as possible then."
He looks over to Justing taking Tabitha away, and shrugs. "Well, maybe
your friend has caught the eye of that feller? Who knows?" He laughs, and
looks around again to try and see if there is anyone else he knows here. Nope.
He feels bad for taking up all of Amara's time, though.
Bryce
wanders over toward Jace. A slight smile on his face. "Hey how are
you?" The kid definately is attempting to stay low key tonight.
Shinobi
has arrived.
Amara
says, "Cable isn't a big thing where I'm from either." Or technology,
for that matter. Amara still looks a bit distracted, her brow furrowing.
Hopefully Tabitha comes back because..well.. Tabby's her ride home! "I
wouldn't be surprised," Amara confides to Mirikon, "He's had a crush
on her since I arrived at school." She stifles a snicker slightly. It's
definitely not going to be pretty - but .. oh well. She doesn't mind chatting
with Mirikon though - she sees the others just about every day, even though she
may not chat with them. "Do you want a drink? I left my glass over at the
table.""
Kitty
grins "It just must be your lucky day Keith. Like, someone thinks you've
been a good boy." Giggling, she nods "Yep, got it on cause I heard
there might be a pool or something."
Jace
furrows his brows in frustration. "Maybe I should stay low-profile
then." He glances over at the pool and says, mostly to himself,
"Would be nice to take a swim, though..." Suddenly, his attention is
diverted by Bryce. He smiles softly at his roommate. "Hi. I'm okay, I
guess. A little warm in this coat."
Nyssa
has left.
The
'good boy' comment from Kitty gets a sort of distant look from Keith but he
shakes it off after a moment and nods, grinning. "Well good, cause
underneath this suit is one pasty white boy... wearing his bathing suit too.
The hot tub up here is exquisite, especially on clear nights when you see the
lights of the city and the stars at once." Gestering a bit, he motions in
the direction Selena arrived from, the hot tub region. "Would you two
beautiful ladies like anything to drink before we immerse ourselves in boiling
water?"
Ororo
snags the boy's hands ever so lightly, her fingers folding over his knuckles
unitl a tenuous grip is formed. Striding effortlessly towards the open dance
arena, she moves with an irrevokable aspect to her footsteps, as if everything
were decided and deliberate. When they reach the it, there is a dwelling pause,
as the music thumps on, the starkly abnormal Ororo turning her eyes from the
sky lit up with the stars and moon to reside on her dance partner. Suddenly,
the grip she bares on his hand tightens, and with a single pull and forward
slide, her body and his are pressed together, as her free hand loops around to
hook against his back where it joins his pelvis, tilting him back at the waist
as she hovers over, a smile spreading across her lips, "I'll lead."
Selena
chuckles softly, then shakes her head. "Naw, I'm good. Thanks
anyhow." Sliding her backpack off of her shoulder, she unzips it and puts
her shirt inside, then casually unzips her pants and takes those off too.
Luckily for everyone she does indeed have a pair of swim shorts on, black vinyl
ones to match her bikini top, with a set of red dog pawprints on the back of
them. "Last one in is...um..I dunno yet, but I'm sure I'll think of
something!" Grinning like a cat, she sprints off towards the hot tub,
shoving her pants into her bag so she doesn't get them wet.
Mirikon
chuckles, and nods. "The first couple of months after I set out on the
boxcars, I was suffering from TV withdrawall, but I got over it." He nods
at her, and says, "Yes, I would like another drink I finished my first
couple of cokes already. What can i get you?" He smiles at her, playing
the role of the gentleman. It comes so naturally to this southern boy. He
chuckles as he sees Amara's expression. "What, is she your ride home or
something?"
Amara
says, "Yeah, actually. I'm not worried or anything," Justin hasn't
got a snowball's chance in her own flames with Tabitha; that she knows. But
what if he upsets her roomie so much that Tabby storms out and forgets about
her? Still, at the previous question, she shake her head, "Oh no, you
misunderstand; I already have a drink; I just didn't bring it with me. I
thought I'd get you one as well since I would have been heading over there
anyway." But she won't argue if he insists. She likes being waited on.
:>"
The
simple task of dancing with Ms. Monroe is more important to Scott than the
instructor will ever know. With the act of just walking to the dance area, he
fells as though he is becomming accepted by the faculty of the Institute as the
student leader, a sub-instructor as it were. And then he turns to face his
dance partner and is shocked to be dipped so quickly. And his face reflects the
change. Where once he was walking as tall as his 6 foot plus frame could go, he
now looks more like a child who has just had his lollipop stolen by an adult.
The horror or watching the older person take his candy and not understanding
why. He doesn't fight the feeling of gravity and it's pull on him as Ororo
states without question that she's leading this dance. So, Scott smiles and
resolves to have fun not having to think about which direction to go, when to
do the spinny thing. And, since his mind has a bit of free time, it decides to
do a check of all the students that he knows are here. He notices that Tabitha
and Justin are missing, having missed the spectacle of them leaving. But that
thought quickly fades as his eyes settle on Tessa again.
Kitty
doesn't notice Keith's distant look, but when he asks about refreshments, she
nods "Yeah, a Coke would be great." Unlacing her top, she reveals a
similar styled backless laced up bikini top. Good thing she undid the right set
of lacing. She then slips off her skirt and sandles, dropping them into the
small bag she was carrying, just for this reason.
Meanwhile,
one more figure enters through the rooftop entrance. It's unfitting of him to
show in less than a new outfit...but he's been run ragged since his return to
the city. Deals to make, people to find. So, Shinobi Shaw's in what would be
considered a dressy outfit for most, but 'slumming' for himself. But then, what
he was going to wear got party fouled the previous night. Bless Maxine's good
fashion sense. Curse her foul mouth. She'd be downright endearing if it wasn't
for that attitude. Still, the white-clad snot has arrived, a duffel over one
shoulder.
The
bluehaired telepath watches, a like-colored eyebrow rising at the sudden dip.
She meets Scott's gaze, and again, nods. What, must she give approval for
everything? << Enjoy yourself, >> she advises the boy. For several
moments she watches the pair dance, before she turns around, eyes alighting on
Shinobi. She tips her head in greeting, raising a hand to wave slightly.
Mirikon
smiles at Amara, and says, "Well, if worst comes to worst, you can always
ride the bus back with me. It only takes a couple hours to get there." He
chuckles, and looks back at the drink table. "Oh, well if you already got
a drink, why don't you point it out for me, and I'll get it for you." He
smiles, still trying to be nice.
Hearing
Selena's challenge of last one in Keith looks abashed. "Hey! No fair! I'm
dressed in a full out suit here!" Heading to the food table, Keith slips
out of his white coat and shirt as well, setting them on a chair. Grabbing a
can of coke and following the two girls to the hottub he puts down his drink
and Kitty's along the edge before slipping out of his shoes, and pants. Not to
give anyone the creepys, he's wearing a pair of black and blue shorts with red
flames around the legs, fun trunks. But the entire process is long and by time
he finishes, he is blushing greatly beneath his translucent skin. "Looks
like I lost..."
Eeeew,
he's wearing an outfit that was worn more than once? How positively revolting!
Amara'd not be caught dead in a fancy outfit that people had seen more than
once on her! Taking a step or two backwards, she tugs at a finger of her
gloves, glancing towards Shinobi curiously, and then to the others. The sight
of Scott dancing with Ororo - not that 'Mara knows it's Ororo - brings a quick
grin to her face; stifling a giggle. "Right over there." Amara points
towards the drink on the table; at the same time spying Tessa. "Oh! I see
someone else I know. I'll be right over there;" the hand which was
formerly pointing to the glass now shifts to point towards Tessa, and Amara
carefully heads over towards the girl, tossing a light, 'THa~anks!"
towards Mirikon. ^_^
Selena
hops in, careful not to send too much water splashing or anything as she tosses
her bookbag a couple feet away. Leaning back and letting out a sigh, she smiles
towards Keith. "Yeah, but you still get to be in a hot tub with two girls,
right? So if I was a guy, I wouldn't count that as losing. Sides, I like the
trunks. Stuff with flames rocks." She scoots down to make room for the
other two as she makes herself comfy again.
Ororo
takes Scott in hand in a perfectly practiced, almost victorian manner, leading
him as if into a waltz, even as some strange hip-raver remix plays. Despite her
unorthodox choice of style for the ambience, it seems to flow with a strange
synchronization. Feet shift gracefully across the dance floor, even four inch
heels unable to impede her disciplined elegance. Risking a sudden twist of her
wrist, she sends Scott spinning out from her, bonded by clasped hands, before
drawing him back in the same, smoothe manner. When they meet, there is another
slow dip, and it lingeres, as the tone of the song draws to a slow point, a
grating moment of a frozen few chords inbetween surges of intensity.
Kitty
slips into the pool and nods, grinning at Selena "Yeah, like most guys
would kill to be in his position, don'tcha think?" She grabs her coke and
opens it, hearing that refreshing hiss.
Mirikon
heads over to the drink table, and gets Amara's glass, as well as another coke
for himself. He smiles, and walks over to where Amara is now, and hands the
drink to her. He chuckles a bit as he watches the guy in the red glasses trying
to dance with the older woman, and shakes his head slightly. He opens the can
of coke, and takes a sip.
Sliding
in to the bubbling water, Keith chuckles a bit. "Well, that's not in
question, but ya know, like all males... I just hate losing." The flame
statement draws a blank until he looks down and smiles, "Oh yeah, these...
these are fun trunks. Settling in, he finds himself between the other two as
any good albino would. "So... uhm... here we are. Under the stars. In a
hot tub." Guess who's feeling nervous right now.
Shinobi
meanwhile hasn't seen Scott, not that he has any clue why that would bother him
anyways. Kitty...is recognized, eyes glancing over the bikini, and Tessa's wave
is returned with a smile, as he begins heading over. Some kid he met in
Japanese four was mentioning the shindig, and then, he spots Mirikon, whom is
on his way. And so, Shaw moves along, clapping a hand on the tall rogue's
shoulder, giving an easy grin. "Ey Miri, didn't expect you to be hitting
the city so soon. Guess everyone heard about this bash, huh?" he asks, as
he continues his path towards Tessa, slow enough to catch some returning
comments.
Jace
taps Bryce on the shoulder gently. "Come 'ere," he says, moving with
long strides to a corner of the crowd. He looks over his shoulder to make sure
the boy is keeping up. He stops and turns 'round. "Look around. Do you see
any humans you know of? It's getting hot in this coat and I really want to take
it off."
Bryce
glances about as Jace asks. He frowns, "Those people I do know I think are
all....special....but there are a ferw I don't know. Perhaps ask Ororo....she's
a teacher an all. Ya can't go wrong askin an elder."
<<You
too.>> Yet in Scott's thoughts there is a definate trace of longing and
desire to be spending this time with the one reading his mind. But, he's also
glad that she seems to be having fun. And, if anyone's keeping score, he hasn't
thought of Miss Grey all evening. And then Scott's attention snaps back to his
dance partner. This wasn't waht he was expecting at all. It's about all he can
do to keep up with her, and he shows a definate lack of grace as he tries to
keep up. Maybe it'd be easier to lead after all. But still, he's determined to
do his best. And as he begins to finally catch on to the dance, he's spun out
from his partner. He almost thinks that this is her way of telling him he sucks
at this. Then as he comes to the end of his spin, he remembers the old video's
he's seen of people dancing, and he knows the next part, spine already
preparing to be dipped. And, for what seems the first time since the dancing
began, Scott slides gracefully back into the arms of the disguised Weather
Witch and then leans back into the dip seamlessly. His smile is growing as he's
catching on to this form of dance.
Selena
smirks faintly at Kitty. "One would think, yeah. But I doubt Keith's like
most guys. Which I hope is a good thing." She glances over at the nervous
kid and tries not to laugh. "I guess so. Kinda nice, huh? Least it's not
storming out, or anything like that. And there's no stupid idiots running
around ruining the fun. Makes things a little easier on me. I'm not all
stressed, so I won't wig out or anything." Taking a deep breath, she slips
down under the water long enough to get her hair wet.
Tessa
has stopped moving, and gone back to watching Scott and Ororo dance. If she
watches, she'll remember how to do this later, after all. "Oh, hello
there, Amara," she says, turning to glance at the girl. "I didn't
realize you were coming. Here with anyone?" she asks, apparently curious.
She sips her Coke absently, now looking to Amara. "I hope you did have a
decent drive up here."
Kitty
wiggles her toes under the water. Yay hot tubs, they're so comfy. "Well,
just don't think of it as losing then." she offers, not really sure how to
finish the statement, she just lets it hang and moves on. "Yeah, it's
like, pretty nice out. Good for a party." Nodding as Selena speaks, she
gives a curious look "Wig out?"
"It's
totally relaxing." Keith confirms before blinking and realizing he's
talking like Kitty again. That really needs to stop. The freaking out part gets
him to chuckle a bit, and grin to Selena before a thought crosses his mind.
"Kitty... how did you talk the professor in to escaping to come to the
party anyway?"
Amara ,
when she gets to Tessa's side, offers a spirited, "Hey!" To the girl
with whom breakfast was shared just that morning. She really will have to
return the favor sometime. "How're you holding up?" Regarding the
headache's she means; not speaking in the literal sense. "Well, I didn't
know you were coming either, so I guess that makes us even." Grins Amara,
"Yeah, I came with Tabitha, my roommate. She's around here somewhere -
Justin (slight roll of her eyes) dragged her out to talk to her, so she should
be back any minute." She nods with a grin, "And we had a good drive
up here; Are you with someone?" Glancing briefly around the room to see if
Tabitha returned yet, Amara waves to Mirikon in case he lost sight of them, and
grins towards Scott and Ororo, nodding her head to the pair for Tessa's benefit.
"Get a load of them; they're pretty good." Now that Scott's getting
into it, anyway. "Do you know who his dance partner is?"
Mirikon
laughs, and smiles at Shinobi. "Yeah, I heard about a party, and thought
that I would drop in. Nothing like a little shindig to get your mind off of
things, eh?" He laughs, and turns back to laugh under his breath at Scott
getting tossed around like a rag doll.
Mirikon
smiles at Amara, and hands her her drink.
Selena
mms, then nods once. "Wig out. Yeah. I'm not a big fan of crowds, or
parties much, so I tend to get a bit...snappy if I'm around 'em for too long.
Which isn't good with me." Her fangs are bared in an oddly non-threatening
smile as she glances towards the sky. "I really need to talk Lex into
getting one of these..."
Kitty
bites her lip "Well, I didn't actually ask him for this, cause like
everyone kinda knew about it, and I was able to get a ride with Scott... though
Justin actually drove me, cause Scott was delayed. But I'm sure he doesn't
mind, it's just a little party. But I'm gonna come another time too, so we can
have, like, a whole weekend of fun, kay? Then I'll have to check it out with
him." To Selena, she nods "Yeah, huge crowds kinda suck."
Ororo
moves in cohesion with her partner, drawing him up as a hand glides up along
his spine to lead him, her fingers trailing through the cloth, sparks of
sensation at how they touch him, as if the puppeteer's hands working the
marionette's strings. Her own eyes seem far away, her expression like some portrait
of meditative disappearance, slipping into a non existance where there is
nothing but her and the song, and she becomes a stormy sea on which Scott must
simply ride. Flowing with him, as the music picks up, so do they, and soon,
they're repeating the same pattern, the same elegant, classical manuvers, and
yet as they curve and spin on the edge of every note, it's more intense and
swift, as if racing to keep up, to match the melody. Woven into the tune they
almost seem to vanish as a part of it, the woman leading the boy as her body
entertwines and blends him in time with her own, a victim or participant of her
submission to ambience. Captivated and hypnotized by passion, a hand draws up
to his face and a single finger pulls at the ridge of his glasses, freeing him
of the ruby quartz, her free hand moving in to replace it, fingers folding over
his eyes. It's brought to her lips, one arm of the shades clipped between her
lips, her head swaying sideways to let drip the sensation of the crystal
compound along his jaw towards his earlobe, the hand that guides him still
pressing all the harder to his back until her body and his are joined, the beat
of one heart pulsing with the other.
A whole
weekend of fun? That makes Keith's eyebrow curl up a bit and he smiles in a
half-scared kind of way. Kitty fun usually involves lots of shopping, but he
leaves it for now, latching on instead to the big crowds part. "Yeah, I
was actually a bit freaked out to come home to a massive crowd hanging out in
my house... but it's been really normal and the people are all cool from what I
can tell.. not that I plan on talking to any of them as I've found the best
place in the city to be right now."
William
has arrived.
Jace
looks up, glancing around the party with pale emeralds. "Miss Ororo?"
he echoes. He frowns as he spots her dancing with Scott. "She's busy right
now, it seems. Maybe I should just leave," he says, shoving his hands in
his pockets.
Selena
glances curiously to Kitty, but decides not to pry into the girl's personal
life. She just slides back under the water again, but this time she doesn't
come back up after a few seconds. Or a few minutes. She still looks alive,
though, even if her eyes are closed, and that has to count for something.
Right?
The return of William comes just as his original entrance did.
Without fanfare or flair. He simply enters and dispenses a few nods about as he
moves into the party to mingle and mix with the various folks peopling the
gathering.
Kitty
smiles "Cause you did suggest a weekend visit right Keith? Cause I haven't
seen anything but Scott's car and the apartment building. I wanna see New York,
you know." Giggling at Keith's compliment, she smiles "Aww, that's
sweet." Noting Selena, she glances curiously at the girl again. "She
ok?"
out of
Blade Runner, almost.. if they had fancied it up some it would look like that
exactly. The other reason it has four
wheels is that it spreads them out on corners, giving it better handling by
far. They separate to provide stability
then merge into one huge wheel again on the straightaways."
"Yeah,
I totally expect you to come up again when I'll have time to show you the
city." Keith nods before looking over at Selena underwater. "Er... I
don't know. I think so...?" Reaching his hand underwater, he swims it over
towards Selena's leg and gently taps her leg, seeing if she responds at all to
the touch.
Selena
blinks, opening one eye then the other, grinning up at the others. The fangs
are gone, it seems, replaced by something fluttering on either side of her
neck. It seems she's decided to grow a set of gills.
Scott
is begining to thoroughly enjoy the dance to the point that his thoughts trail
away from where he is, and focuses on what he's doing, and who he's doing it
with. He's never seen Ororo like this, and truth be told, he's enjoying it. As
the pair speeds up, so does Scott's heart rate. The dance is now taking over
his whole being, surrendering his thoughts and body to the music and the
movement. His movements are becomming more bold, and as he's comming to the
decission that it's his turn to send her for a spin. As they move out of the
last step in the spinning box motion of the Waltz-like dance, he's about to
send his partner the cue to take her turn, when a finger slowly makes it's way
up his face to the bridge of his nose. Knowing that Ororo is aware of his
condition, he doesn't pull back like he would with someone like Taryn, when
they used to dance. Instead, he remains focused on the dance. Luckily, years and
years of people taking his glasses as a way to taunt him have trained him that
at the first sensation of movement from his shades, his eyelids are to close.
That is pretty much the only reason Ororo still has a head at the moment. His
first reaction is almost always panic at the fact that his secret might be
revealed, so he clenches his eyes closed with as much force as he can put into
this eyelids. His panic is worn all across his face, even as he is brought in
closer for the dance to continue. <<Um.>>
"Me?
Yes, I came with someone," replies Tessa. She nods towards Scott and
Ororo. "I came with him." Most girls would be upset at having their
date dragged off to dance with another woman. Not Tessa. Some emotional
reaction would be healthy, too, one would think. "At least, he is enjoying
himself," she replies, occasionally looking back to watch the two. "I
do not think I would have been good company for him, at any rate. I must be
dreadfully dull, at times." She wouldn't be surprised if Scott found her
dull. He wouldn't be the first. "Your roommate must have the patience of
the gods."
Kitty
giggles at Selena and noting the gills, understands a bit more about her.
"Neat." she says softly, looking at them for a moment more. Not
polite to stare after all. To Keith, she nods "Yeah, I still got your
number, so we can arrange something."
Smiling
to Kitty, Keith nods. "Definately... Heck, I'll even let you have my room
and I'll hit the couch... you won't find that sort of horrible service anywhere
else in the city." His hand that's still underwater, goes towards Selena's
neck where the gills are and gently brushes them in an investigative sort of
way.
Leaving
the boy blind and at her mercy, Ororo continues to draw him through the final
throes of the music. Now, all he can do is hear, and feel, and she manipulates
him with no ability to fight the vertigo with sight, as if in some way she were
making him fly, bleed into the music as a floating, weightless note. Then, with
a gush of wind, what seems like a dream becomes reality, as arms fold around
the boy and both spin sharply straight up into the air, as if they were caught
on the end of some twisted thread that untwined with a shattering speed. The
tails of her coat snap against her, the boy's shirt ruffled violently under her
fingertips, and the ground beneath their feet gone. Yet, it is altogether
brief, a fleeting display that seems nothing more than an impressive feat of
the pair. And when they land, Scott is once again dipped backwards, the woman's
right under poised between his shoulder blades to hold him prone, as the other
rests on his chest, feeling his heart pulse. As she holds him there, her face
drifts to hold just inches above his own, with ruby quartz glasses still fixed
between her lips. Her jaw loosens, and they fall, slipping perfectly back into
place. At the same moment, the music ends.
Amara
blinks at Tessa, following her nod towards Scott and Ororo. An the slightest
arch of an eyebrow is given at the dancers, before Amara looks back to Tessa.
"Why wouldn't you be good company for him?" She puzzles, casting a
quick glance to Mirikon in thanks as she takes the glass from him. Sipping
lightly from it, she continues to Tessa, "I don't think you're dull at
all.. Why should anyone else?" A slight giggle at the latter half,
"Patience of the gods? I don't know about that - why?" Wow; Y'know,
it's suddenly much more interesting to watch Ororo and Scott dancing than it is
to dance herself. o_o
Selena
listens to the other two, although it's a bit distorted due to the water and
all. She eyes the approaching hand a bit warily but doesn't move, doesn't go to
snap at it or anything. For once. At the touch the gills flutter a bit and she
squints her eyes, a few bubbles escaping her lips as she tries her best not to
laugh.
Mirikon
chuckles at Tessa. "I don't think you are dull. You strike me as one of
the intellectual types. Some people find different things to be dull. I'm sure
that there are many people who find me dull at times." He chuckles, and
offers his hand to her. "Hey there, I'm Mirikon." He smiles at her,
and then turns to nod at Amara. He sips the coke in his hand, and chuckles
slightly as the two dancers go flying into the air.
Kitty
nods "Sounds like a good deal, but like, don't worry, I'm fine on the
couch." Looking as Keith touches the gills, she giggles. "Careful,
she might bite."
Things seem well in hand here, folks
dancing, folks talking, folks swimming. Yes it is indeed a party going on. No
fights or anything. Which is mainly what he was on the look out for. With no
trouble in sight upstairs he considers heading back down. That would defeat the
purpose of the party though. He's hear to meet new people, not just stay with
those he already knows. That leaves to choices, talking people or swimming
people and since he's still not wearing trunks, talking people it is. He starts
making his way towards Mirikon's little crowd.
The
sensation of moving at the speeds this dance has gone to without the use of
one's eyes is a rather trippy sensation. Yet he trusts that Ororo won't do
anything to put him in mortal danger. She's an instructor, after all. If he
can't trust those that have given their lives to helping them, then who can he
trust. Still, this is rather abnormal. No, screw that. This is sick. Both
figuratively and comming soon, literally. The twisting is enough to send
Scott's stomach into a fit. Hearing the music begin the final climax that
usually denotes the end of the song, the Student Leader hopes that he can hold
out for long enough. Then the Teacup Ride at Disney for the Blind begins. The
wind sends his hair into disarray as his clothing begins sending little stings
of pain up his entire body as it whips against him. He grips Ororo tighter,
knowing that this is her doing and that she is the one person at the moment
that can keep him from certain doom. As the wind dies down, a swell of relief
washes over Scott, landing in the dipped pose as his face registers his glasses
returning to his face. A few silent moments pass as the music ends and the boy
straightens up, slowly opening his eyes. "Wow." is all he can get
out.
"What
would you have me talk to him about, Amara?" asks Tessa, quietly, so as to
not be overheard by everyone. "I do not know what would be appropriate, again."
But that doesn't seem to bother her. "It was an impressive dance, was it
not?" Mirikon receives an arched eyebrow in return. "Tessa," she
replies, extending her hand.
Grinning
as Selena lets him touch her gills, Keith pulls his hand away and then hears
the familiar beeping coming from the pocket of his pants he left beside the hot
tub. "Erk... hold on, must be work paging... I need to answer that and
give them a call back." Pausing, he leans over and smiles at Kitty again.
"I'll be back as soon as possible." Looking at Selena, who is
underwater, he mouths the same thing then actually finds a wink in him before
slipping out of the hottub.
Amara
shakes her head lightly, giving a small shrug, "I don't know. This is a
social gathering so.. I guess pretty much anything. I mean.. you know, stuff
that you want to know about him. Likes, dislikes, hobbies. That sort of thing,
I guess." Muses Amara. As the topic switches back to the dance, Amara nods
lightly, grinning, "Yeah, it really was." She giggles quickly, her
voice confiding to the pair, "Though it looked a lot like Scott was going
to get flung halfway across the room a moment there." No doubt he thought
the same, the way he clung to Ororo ^_^
Mirikon
nods to Tessa and shakes her extended hand gently. "Nice to meet you,
Tessa." He smiles, and looks over as William approaches their little
group. "Hello there. And who might you be?" He chuckles, and turns
back to Amara. "Yeah, he looked like a rag doll at a couple of points
there."
Ororo
rises back into a full stance once the music is over, fingerless-glove hand
lifting to adjust her own shades again, purple barriers disguising her gaze.
She lets lingere a moment of strange silence after Scott's remark, before
replying evenly, "Thank you for the dance." A swift, elegant twist to
turn from him, the folds of her coat wrapping in a supple billow behind her, as
she strides for the exit, "Try not to stay up too late." In the midst
of vanishing, "Don't drink." And she's gone.
Selena
blinks, then nods as she finally manages to get a gist on what Keith said,
before sitting up and shaking her head a few times to get some of the water out
of her hair. "Yeesh. Need to do that more often. Really cleans out my
sinuses," she comments, rubbing her neck as the gills close up and vanish.
"Man, your job really likes to get on you, huh? And just when we were
havin' fun, too." Wait. Could she actually sound somewhat...let down? Is
that even possible with her? "See ya 'round, then?"
Jace
sighs heavily. He pulls back his hood as he meanders over to the pool. Standing
adjacent to it, he gazes down into the water. "No, I better not," he
says to himself in a barely convincing tone. He turns slowly and walks over to
the elevator. "Don't like parties much, anyway."
Kitty
smiles to Keith "It's ok. I should probly head on home soon, or at least
try and catch a ride." Biting her lip, she turns to Selena "Sorry to
leave yah. Oh, by the way... that was pretty cool."
Before
disappearing inside, Keith grins at Selena. "You certainly will." In
response to his question, then adds to Kitty. "You too, call me."
Grabbing something out of his pocket, he pulls a business card type thing out
and tosses it towards Selena. "That goes for you too." Then, with a
final bow, he slips back towards the house.
Jace
has left.
Scott
remains standing in the middle of the floor for a few more moments as he
watches Ororo depart, reorienting himself to what it's like to not be moving.
He slowly starts to walk over to where Tessa has formed quite the crowd. He
walks up, hair a mess and that nice crease in his jeans gone. He moves around
the group and takes up a position next to and about 6 inches behind his date.
He gives them all a smile and lets out a breathless "Hey."
Tessa
nods slightly. "Indeed. Didn't it, though? I hardly think he would be an
appropriate wall decoration, however," she replies. Making a joke?
"Has your friend left on you, Amara? I have not seen her yet." She
pauses, glancing as Scott returns. "And that would be your workout for the
next week, would it? I think you will have to thank her for helping you trim
off some excess weight."
Selena
grabs the card, then smiles at Kitty. "Yeah, just one of the many cool
tricks I can pull off. But don't tell anyone. Tends to freak people out who
aren't in the know." She hoists herself up out of the hot tub, then
stands. "Hey, best head on home then, don't wanna hear about you gettin'
into trouble. And I should go check up on my ride. Was nice meeting you,
though!" Grabbing her bag, she waves to Kitty and begins to make her way
towards the elevator.
Amara
giggles into her gloved hands at Tessa's quip, nodding agreement, "He'd be
a regular Pica-" eep, he's back! Amara /grins/ at Scott as he joins them,
lifting gloved hands to give the elder a standing ovation. Giggling as she does
applaud for his performance ^.^ "Hi Scott! Nice moves out there." She
brings a hand to her mouth, stifling a soft giggle of amusement. Now Scott,
this is where you take your date and go use those moves to show her a good
time. G'wan, g'wan! Although, at Tessa's question as to the whereabouts of her
roomie, Amara glances around, a small frown creasing her brow, "I'm...not
sure..." She wouldn't have ditched her would she? Gasp!
Kitty
slips out of the water as well and grabs her bag, smiling to Selena "Yeah,
I'll be careful. See yah later, probly in school at least." Waving, she
searches for her ride too.
Selena
has left.
Scott
lets out a laugh at Tessa's joke. She's gotten better with them in the short time
he's known her. "Yeah. It was definately intense." He places a hand
on the young woman's shoulder and leaves it there, any nervousness at what to
do on this date having flown out of him at a hieght of 10 feet above the top
floor. He turns his attention to Amara and her clapping, "Thanks Amara.
But it was mostly Ororo with the moves. I was just following." He pauses
for a moment and then asks, "Having a good time?"
A polite nod is given to Mirkon by way
of greeting, bow to Tessa and another to Amara, who's at least a familiar face.
"William Conner Marsh at yer service.. some party eh?" He grins
roguishly as he deftly slides himself into the grouping. At Tessa's words of
Amara's friends he looks towards two girls, "I'd nae be too worried if tis
Tab'tha ye mean by tha' I saw her as I was comin' out o' Mira's place."
Tabith. In Mira's place. Sure nothing to worry about there.
Mirikon
smiles at Tessa, and raises an eyebrow at Scott. "Yes, you seemed to be at
a loss at certain points." Like, half the dance. He chuckles lightly, and
looks around to make sure his clothes are still where he left them. After all,
they're the only ones he owns, which kindof makes him a bit protective of them.
Amara
giggles lightly, clasping her hands again at the question, "Yeah, I've
been having fun." Fun watching mostly though. She glances towards William,
curious for the news he has on Tabitha -- er.. Oh lordie; no, nothing to worry
about at /all/. "What was she doing down there..?" she puzzles, more
to herself than to William. See, /she/ doesn't know the alcohol is down there.
Scott
lets out a polite chuckle at Mirikon's comment. Turning to face William, he
raises a brow. See, /he/ does know that the alchahol is down there. Hoping that
young Tabitha has the good sense to not be stupid. He takes a half step foward
and looks down at Tessa, "What about you? Having a good time?" By
heeminy, he's determined to finish his date with Tessa if it's the last thing
he does tonight.
Mirikon
raises an eyebrow at the reactions to Tabitha being downstairs. He has no idea
about the alcohol, but he can guess given their reactions. He smiles wryly, and
shakes his head. Never trust minors to not be stupid when it comes to alcohol.
After all, he's been drinking since he was 15, so why wouldn't these kids? But
it isn't his place to say such things here, since he is just the outsider.
With an innocent whistle William gives
a shrugging of shoulders, "Och I dunno. Prolly jest wan'ed ta talk ta Mira
is all." That's his story and he's sticking to it. Of course there is the
faintest of hints of alcohol upon his breath. The very faintest, just something
to have loosened him up a bit with all these strangers. "'m sure
everythin's jest fine..." He pauses in thought and picks the name up from
Scott's comment, "Amara is it? No need ta worry yerself o'er it."
Scott's name he's gained from Mirikon's words, which leaves Tessa still
unidentified for the moment.
"I
am. I was watching you dance. Very impressive." Tessa raises her hands, clapping
softly. "Then Amara and I began talking." She tilts her head towards
Scott. "Did you enjoy the dance, however?"
Ick.
Cheap alcohol isn't it? Amara wrinkles her nose a bit, turning her head away
slightly so she doesn't have to breath in the odor when William speaks. "I
suppose so." she grants. Well .. she's pretty sure Tabitha won't start
drinking - she's the designated driver for crying out loud. On the other hand,
Amara also takes a discreet step.. away from the group, eyeing the door. What
/is/ going on downstairs anyway? Jumping a bit as her name is spoken, Amara
manages a quick nod. Eheh. >.> Oh look at that, her drink's all done. And
she also needs to use the ladies room, on that note. Glancing at Mirikon, she
taps the glass with her finger, "Scuze me a moment." She scoots back
from the group, threading her way to the bathrooms. And while she's off --
maaaaaaaybe she'll go and steal her designated driver back. >.> Maybe.
Miranda
has arrived.
Mirikon
nods to Amara as she cuts out. It isn't his place to talk about people he just
met, after all. He chuckles, though, and looks at the rest of the group, not
quite knowing what to think about them. He smiles, and then finishes off his
can of coke. He tosses the can in the direction of the trash can, but misses,
badly. "Oh well, that's why I never played basketball." He goes to
pick up the can, and get himself a new one.
Scott
gives a smile as an attempt at charm takes over his higher brain functions.
"I did. But not as much as I would have enjoyed dancing with you."
And there you have it kids, Scott's attempts at flirting. Then, as if to make
the statement complete, he asks, "Would you like to? Dance that is."
Amara
has left.
And out
comes Mira, about to enjoy herself dancing, blissfully unaware of exactly what
is happening to her little gathering. Some people do not know how to have fun.
Smiling to herself, pretty steady but her eyes are a bit glassy, she's dragging
off of a clove cigarette.."..Where the hell'd everyone go?"
Mirikon
raises an eyebrow as he sees Mira return. He raises his voice and says, "I
think some of them went home. Something about having to get up in the
morning." He chuckles, and heads back to the group, holding a new can of
coke.
William scratches his head as Amara
heads for the hills... or the restrooms.. or where ever. "Twas it
somethin' I said?" He shrugs his shoulders and gazes around in time to
catch Mira's entrance. "Ah an' there's the hostess herself.. evenin' 'gain
ta ye Mira."
An arm
is reached out in William's direction, to wrap around his waist as Miranda
gives a soft, relaxing little laugh, smiling to herself and the few
left.."..D*mn shame...I was just about to start dancing. Well...you are
all welcome to come downstairs and crash, if you need..Things are finally
mellowing out. But..You do owe me a dance, Will.." And a kiss is placed to
his cheek.
Mirikon
smiles at miranda, and shakes his head. "Don't worry about me. There's a
4AM bus back to where I came from, so I'll just take that if I can't get a
ride." He chuckles at the obviously drunk Miranda, and sips his coke, just
relaxing, and having a good time.
Now how could William resist an offer
like that? That wonderful voice, the feel of Mira's arm wrapping about his
waist, and the brushing of lips upon his cheek. Makes him forget all about how
snuggly she was with that 'Trey' fellow. No he's certainly not turning down the
invite to take her for a spin around the dance floor. "Duty calls
folks.." he comments to the gathering, then to Mira, "Righ' ye are..
an' I always pay me debts.. shall we?"
