Guilty Conscience What is this coming over me? I feel an overwhelming burden. A tremendous weight on my head, I feel as if I were an Apostle, Who followed Jesus around, And fell asleep in the garden- I was not there, I did not hear the cries for help. All I did was nothing, and it caused pain to an innocent soul. What have I done? I feel like Judas, Who betrayed his leader, I must've been Peter, The person in denial of who he was and his past. But I also am Paul, Who stood for one thing at first, and lived and died for a better cause, and told the world of his faults, and how God changed him for the best. I stood, once, before God alone. Now I have Jesus as my attorney, Pleading my case to the father. I know what's done is history, and what's to come is the best future!

Actions Religious beliefs and emotions are one and the same. They dictate our actions. Whether you are overwhelmed with emotion, or religious devotion, Or if you are full of apathy, and atheistic, your emotions and beliefs tell you what to do, what to react to, how to react, and every other thing you do! Now, actions are mirrors; They reflect that which motivates the action- The feelings and beliefs. Some people's actions speak little, While other actions SHOUT!!! Nonetheless, its all a way of Letting the world see inside of you. Your actions are the key, The key to your personality, Your inner being. Whatever it is, what you do Will speak volumes about you. Don't give you actions Justifyable cause to condemn The very one which they depend on- You.

The Book of Life There comes a time in my life Where a new chapter begins, Leaving behind the chapters of the past. I know that the story must continue, Although the last chapter Could've ended it very well. As the pages turn, and paragraphs form, I think back on the previous pages, Where joy and excitement Mix with anxiety and depression. As I look back on the beginnings Of the book, A plethora of emotions swirl about, Each one having its turn to be focused on, After the feelings tire, I look to the future, and think about what will be there. What happiness, what joy, What pain, what sorrow What will follow the chapters I love so much? Though I am uncertain, I know one thing; I've enjoyed the drama, the fun and work that has passed before my eyes in this book, and I want to end the story, but only when its supposed to end. When the time is right, The story will end, only to be picked up in the skies, A new, heavenly story to be read.

Cards Life is like cards- We're all given different hands taken from the same deck. As we play the game, we often mistake the sides of opposition. We think the other people are our opponents; But Satan has his cards, too, and wants to win us into hell. Some people are unaware of the lives that are in jeopardy, They don't know what's on the line, and think there's nothing to risk. Everyone has their strategy in life, using their talents, they strive to succeed. When trying to cheat, they stack more on the plate, They stick the outcome on their necks solely. Why cheat? Cause no one knows A sure-fire method to overcome the adversary. He always seems to have a couple of aces Up his flaming sleeves. But, look! A stranger comes into the game. You're unsure about what side he's on, but you realize the answer when He takes all the unusable cards in everyone's hands and uses them to snuff out the devilish punk, who has tried for eternities, to win the game with his own strategy. It doesn't work without the one answer- This answer is Jesus Christ, who won us all a trip to heaven.
