| Making Sacrifices What does it mean to live for your beliefs? That you sacrifice your old ways, And you live a brand new life, And start a new way to be a human being, Does it mean that your method of thinking gets reinvented, And your life automatically changes and gets better? Do you all of a sudden react in a certain manner? Or is it all in vain? If you really live for your beliefs, It is not in vain, it is not an act. It is real, and sincere. Yet people are cynical and doubtful, And swear that you are a phony, But maybe that's the price you choose to pay When you live all for your faith. You somehow knew this would happen, And you were internally preparing yourself for this. What does it mean to die for your beliefs? That you would take your devotion one step farther, And take the biggest dive of your life Into the arms of what you believe. I'm sure that it is an unbelievably hard task, But somehow you realize that it is what you must do. You realize that people will see your example And maybe, they won't have such a hard time Giving their life to their beliefs. Once you get past the living for your faith part, You've already assured yourself that it is not in vain, That it is not a lie. You then realize that there really is a Light At the other side of the spectrum. You realize that you'll be with that Light When your soul sheds this mortal shell, And your spirit can finally fly to its Father, To live and reign with Him for all eternity. |

| Masquerade Party Life is a masquerade party People wander around wearing their masks, monkey see, monkey do, All we do is make a disguise to fool everyone into thinking the gnorw way. We never see the people without a mask, for they have long been rejected, by a sea of facsimiles. For the one who doesn't need a mask is detested by the masses. What we need is courage, to take off our camouflaged defense. For there is nothing to fear, but fear itself. The party is drawing to a close, and those not needing the use of facades, will be taken home, where they don't have to be mocked, and doubted, and hated. They can live in the land of peace, where masks don't exist, and every day is a party. For there is reason to celebrate, the Lord has attended the masquerade, and overcome it, so that masks will no longer be needed. Therefore, take off your masks, throw your costumes into the fire, and let the light finally shine in your true face, Because you can only see when you look through your own eyes. |
