History

PAX 217 was formed in 1994 in Mission Viejo, CA in Orange County. Dave and Sqwid kept the band going when they went through different members. When the "final molding" of members was made in 1997, the group changed its name to PAX 217.

They used to be called just "PAX" which is Latin for Peace. They added the 217 from Ephesians 2:17. Not because of the seventeenth day of the second month, Adam. Heheh. Sorry. Although, that is cool too.

This winter, PAX 217 will be taking a break from touring and just working on writing songs.
