Billy Hunt woke up on his beach towel. He must've been asleep for awhile for his back was as red as the Nile when Moses dipped his staff into it.
"What time is it? Where is this?" Billy asked the blonde girl tanning next to him. "What's the date? Are those real?"
"Like, are you okay? It's Saturday, the 20th. It's about one o'clock and this is Venice Beach, California." Billy looked out and saw surfers on every wave. He looked the other way and saw people on skate boards and roller blades on the sidewalk. The sidewalk was curvy and in a grassy area with palm trees next to the beach.
Two girls walked up to Billy. One girl had long, blonde hair and was in a bikini. The other had short, red hair. She was wearing a really short shirt and her jean shorts were very short too. The blonde said to "Billy, choose one of us to, like, take clubbin tonight." Billy looked at both of them up and down . . .
"Well, are you going to choose one?" Brad asked. "We have to meet the girls and go to the party soon." Billy looked around and found himself in a Pacific Sunwear store with two shirts in his hands.
"I think I like the red one," Billy said.
"Great! Now pay for it so we can go meet the girls at Spencer's." Billy and Brad walked to the register and payed for the shirt. They started to walk to Spencer's, but Brad wanted to stop at the pet store and see if they had any new puppies. Billy walked to the back and saw a capuchin (monkey) in a cage . . .
Billy followed the gorillas into the dense jungle. He felt that he could trust them. He would be famous for his studies on them, like Jane Goodall for her chimps. He watched every move they made. The silver-back picked up a banana and ate half of it. He threw the other half down on the ground. He then proceeded to regurgitate it and eat it again. The clan moved on. Billy picked up the half of the banana that the silver-back threw down. He held it up in the air to look at it in the sun, but a bird swooped down to take a bite of it . . .
"Ouch!" Billy exclaimed.
"You need to keep your fingers out of the bird cages, Billy," Brad told him. "C'mon, I'm done. Let's go find Beth and Sally." They walked to Spencer's and saw the girls looking at black lights and candles.
"Hey Sally!" said Brad. He strutted to her and gave her a kiss.
"Hey Billy, check out these lava lamps," said Beth. They had heads on the bottom of them. One head was a devil, another was an alien and another a jester . . .
Billy joined the little clowns on bikes, but one squirted him with a squirt gun. He got mad and kicked a carnie. The ring master got angry and let the lion go. It started chasing Billy . . .
He turned left and right but could not evade the spaceship's lasers. He was being followed by an alien. His spaceship was playing Alien by Bush. He decided to go down. It worked; he shook off the alien. He was actually stalling the alien now. He fired a laser and hit the ship, blowing it to pieces. . .
"It's not nice to kill, Billy," a deep, haunting voice said. "Now you will pay." Billy got very hot all of a sudden. He saw red eyes come out of the darkness, followed by a face then a body. It was Beelzebub . . .
"Noooooooooo!" Billy yelled.
"Billy! snap out of it, they're only lamps," Beth stated. They continued to look around the store. Brad was trying on masks, Sally was looking at some naughty cards and Beth chose to look at the bumper stickers. Just then Billy saw an Austin Powers display . . .
"Yeah baby," said Austin. "Totally shagadellic." Austin was driving his Shaguar and Billy was in the passenger seat. They were trying to drive down a street, but swarms of girls surrounded the car. "Just enjoy it baby, you're not going anywhere soon," he said . . .
"I'll be at Sam Goody you guys," Billy informed the others as he left the store. He started looking around Sam Goody. He wanted a new CD for the party. He began listening to the new Skillet CD . . .
"Thank you very much for coming out tonight," John Cooper (Skillet's lead singer and bassist) told the crowd of over 20,000 screaming fans. Billy took his guitar off and went backstage with the rest of the band. "Good show Billy, nice solos. Have you been practicing more?"
"Not really, I just threw them in and hoped they would fit."
