The Twilight Sentinel system senses outside light and automatically turns the driving lights ON and OFF as needed.  It also turns the lights off after a time delay when the car is parked in darkness.  This delay feature allows the driver to lock the car and use exterior lights for a pre-set period before they turn off automatically.  A warning tone will sound if the driver's door is opened and the headlight switch has been left on, with the ignition key turned off.  It will not if the headlight switch is off and lights are on time delay.  A warning light also comes on at the same time.
