TEXANS ON TOP
Both the POD and POW were won by people from Texas, where I could be travelling with my uncle very soon, and I will be busy, so expect a probable lack of updates over the course of next month. The POD winner is a new player with a Super Smash Bros. time, and his friend also has a time, but only the better of the two can make the top twenty-- and the Players List. And Ryan Black is our POW for his unexpected Nai WR Tie in Quake II.

AUSSIES RETURN TO THE COCKPITS
Andrew Kent and Adam Rose have come around again, with new scores for Star Fox 64 and Super Smash Bros., respectively. Andrew tied Phil Hughes's Corneria score! He gets the POD for this. He also made minor improvements in Sector Y and Area 6, where he probably still wants to get a few more points. In Super Smash Bros., Adam has passed Brandon Eberly on the Total score chart, thanks to two new character scores that put him ahead of Bruno Teixeira and Diogo Azevedo on their respective charts.

NEW PLAYER FOR THE SECOND DAY STRAIGHT
In Super Mario 64, we have a new player, Steve Ezeta, making his debut with a Footrace With Koopa the Quick time. Yesterday's new player, Chris Little, is back today with a Solar score.

But I decided it's about time to show everybody's new scores: Zack Allard has second place on Sector Y, Cody Beasley has five new scores including a great Sector Y of his own, Rodrigo Castelo Branco Herzog has beaten my Venom score, and Andrew Kent is back with more progress for Aquas, Area 6, and Bolse and has tied Steven Zwartjes's Corneria score. Manfred Rieder is working on a second place on Titania. I got over 140 on Sector Z to pass Andrew Kent, while on that same level, we have a new player from Brazil!

The New Tetris - Star Fox 64 - Wetrix

Players List

NORWEGIAN "PIECES TOGETHER" A N64HS FIRST
The New Tetris has been quite kind to the female players of N64HS, having had one of the largest female communities on the site (along with Zelda: Ocarina of Time). Today, we have yet another new female player, and she has made a very pivotal WR! Anna-Louise (not to be confused with a recently departed Anna-Nicole!) Myhrvold Hansen is the first player at N64HS to make 10,000 Lines in the Marathon mode of The New Tetris. She's also the second Norwegian to join N64HS. Note that this impressive score is not a world record: I have been to a site where someone exceeded 100,000 Lines, and there were many other people with tens of thousands (mostly Americans), so it's possible that Anna-Louise doesn't even have the highest female score in the world. But there's always a possiblity...

ROD AIMS FOR NEW WR... AND WINS TWO PODS
Rodrigo Castelo Branco Herzog, incidentally another four-named player at N64HS (most of the rest are also Brazilians), wins two straight PODs for improving Corneria twice. Yesterday he got 331 and today he got 332, tying the second place score! He only needs two more points to make a Nai WR!

FROM SUN TO ICE
Sean Fessenden tackles both the heat of Solar and the ice of Wetrix, making a Nai WR on the latter. Note that Steven Zwartjes is out of the top 20 on Solar... he was once 3rd place! See how much things have changed in this game in just a few years!

Every other player goes through Meteo, Katina, and Sector X for a Total Hits run. SMOOTH SAILING FOR DIMITRIJ & ZACK

There was only one thing left for Rodrigo Castelo Branco Herzog to do in Star Fox 64. He has done it today, and that is to get an untied Nai WR! 466 is the magic number and the score is for Zoness! Proof included!

NEW TOTAL HITS SCORE FIT FOR A KNIGHT
Cody "Sir Piccolo" Beasley sends in a rather noble new Total Hits score for Star Fox 64. It puts him ahead of the two Z's: Zack Allard and Steven Zwartjes!

A BLOCK-BUSTER OF A NEW PLAYER
The new player is Sean Fessenden. Besides the usual Star Fox 64 scores, he's got a Nai WR Tie in Mario Party 3 (you know which one!) and a nice 2nd place on Mario's Puzzle Party Pro! Could it be possible to make 1,000 points in this game!?

TEXAN WAKES UP A SLEEPING PAGE
Ryan Black, one of our new Texas players, sends the first Vigilante 8 scores since this page was created in 2004! And I had thought that it was not worth the memory space to maintain a page that only had one player, few scores, and no updates in over two years...

ON THE PODIUM AT LAST!
Rodrigo Castelo Branco has finally made a top three score! His new record today is for Zoness, and he had to get past Winfried Merdes to get his name in bronze! He's got a separate new proof file for his brand new score.

ZACK GETS WET, CODY STAYS DRY
Bitter Star Fox 64 rivals Zack Allard and Cody Beasley take on opposite extremes in the Lylat System in the battle for today's POD. Zack takes to the ocean, while Cody romps through the desert. Cody's place gains outpaced Zack's, earning Sir Piccolo the award. A third part of the rivalry, Rodrigro Castelo Branco Herzog, earns the second POW of the year for his space exploration.

GET READY FOR A SJSTRM SNOWSTORM
As a winter storm lashes the central United States, we welcome two new players from Sweden, another country that's no stranger to snow, although these guys prefer to play on the liquid version of it. Victor Sjstrm, and his friend Martin Hovmller, roll out their first N64HS scores, for Stunt Mode in Wave Race 64. Vic has already made a couple of Nai WRs!

ROD IS IN THE ZONE(SS)
Rodrigo Castelo Branco Herzog is determined to show fellow newcomer Zack Allard who's really destined to be the next major league Star Fox 64-er. He's in the spotlight-- er, the searchlight, with a brand new 4th place on Zoness!

A THIRD NEW PLAYER IN THE SHADOWS!
If two new players aren't enough in a day's update, maybe three is. Ryan Black, one of Alex Hollingsworth's pals, sends his times for, appropriately enough, Shadows of the Empire.

Three players have played Star Fox 64 today and each have new scores to show off. Manfred Rieder has four new scores, and he says he's ready to take a break now. Cody Beasley has made the top 20 on Macbeth. And Zack Allard has made enough points on Zoness to pass Andrew Kent!

STAR WARS
Rodrigo Castelo Branco Herzog and new player Manfred Rieder duke it out in deep space today. They each have a few new scores, but what really impressed me was Rod's Zoness score, which ties Andrew Chan. And Chan was once the Nai WR holder!

ORO Y PLATA
Steven Weerdenburg takes on the Gold and Silver Firing Range challenges again, getting eight new times. None are in the top five.

NEW SCORE AHEAD. THIS ONE'S DIFFERENT!
Crud! He was SO close to the top score! We're talking about Zack Allard who has bettered himself once again. I sound like a broken record but it's true, Zack has achieved his greatest score in his Star Fox 64 career! On Area 6, he improved by twenty more points, enough to put him ahead of Steven Zwartjes (used to be the top score!), Mark Johnson, and Winfried Merdes! The only player with a higher score is Dimitrij Jarowoj!

CODY MANS THE NEXT MISSION
After Rodrigo Herzog and Manfred Rieder returned to Earth, Cody Beasley boarded the Great Fox for another mission to the Lylat System. He's proven himself quite the space patroller... with seven more mission scores plus a new Total Hits! He misses Zack Allard by two points and a score of 2,400 by four points. Still, he gains four spots with the new score!

RODRIGO TRAVELS THE SYSTEM
Manfred Rieder, our new player from yesterday, has two new scores in Star Fox 64. But that pales in comparison to what Rodrigo Castelo Branco Herzog has done. He got seven new scores, some of the improvements are very big! Star Fox 64 has also earned Zack Allard the first POW of 2007.

MORE DECATHLON FROM BRANDON
Brandon Knaus has more Decathlon records in Mario Party 6, while Cody Beasley's new Star Fox 64 scores are overshadowed by those of Zallard.

EVERY TYPE OF AWARD GIVEN TODAY
I'm giving away each of the five kinds of Awards! Here are all the winners and the things they've done to win:

Player of the Day (POD): Steven Weerdenburg earns it for his first Firing Range times for Perfect Dark, a couple of which make the top three. He also found the N64HS hidden page.

Player of the Week (POW): Zack Allard's new scores for Star Fox 64, including a 4th place on Fortuna, were the highlight of last week.

Player of the Month (POM): Brandon Knaus has been the busiest player throughout the month, despite making only one out of the four POWs. This is his second POM in a row.

Player of the Quarter (POQ): Two straight POMs is a good enough reason for Brandon to get this award also. Jorge Maricato, who had been his biggest competition, blew his chance at POQ when he stopped playing halfway through the quarter and fell behind in progress. And finally...

Player of the Year (POY): With an unprecented two consecutive POQs, Winfried Merdes dominated in the first half of the year, and continued to play through the second half. He may have slowed down towards the end of the year, but with all the records he made year-round, not just in Star Fox 64, Winnie is our big winner. He is the first European to win the POY.
