Bruno de Vasconcelos Teixeira shows us there's still hope for N64HS. I must admit that I have been directly encouraging a few of our players to get some scores in to bring back some activity, but Bruno has more than delivered today with his massive Link time cut. He "reels in" today's POD for his prowess with the boomerang and hookshot.

After being dead for two weeks, N64HS is finally resurrected, by our newest player. Colombia's Mauricio Su�rez R. makes his debut with new records in Mario Party 3 and Super Mario 64, making tied WRs in both games! He also has proof of all of today's scores and times. Needless to say, Mauricio earns a POD, and he'll likely be earning more than just that with today's records, especially if the site remains this quiet for the rest of this month.

Christophe Ley used to be the Cruisin' World champion a long time ago. Despite attacks from Sean Kaczmarek, Richard Blackmer, and Garry Harman, we never heard anything from Chris. Until today. Because he's been to the moon and back. And while he was there, he took the Nai WR, beating Sean's time by nearly a full second! He's out to show all the new folks that old-school talent! I welcome him back to N64HS with today's POD.
DOUBLING HIS LEAD
Thiago Trujillo has shocked everyone by cutting another tenth of a second from his Footrace With Koopa the Quick WR. Comparing this to the new WRs above and below, it was very hard to decide on a POD!
LUIGI JUMPS HIGH... ALL THE WAY TO THE TOP
Bruno de Vasconcelos Teixeira has put Luigi's high jumping to good use and has leapt straight to the top of another Break the Targets chart in Super Smash Bros. He only has to climb another 0"15 before he reaches the most coveted peak of all... that of the total times chart!

Thiago Trujillo has broken (not tied, BROKEN) the Footrace With Koopa the Quick WR! He says he has video proof of the new world record, but has not released it to us yet. In the past, we've had charts invaded by groups of players from Canada, Brazil, and Germany. It doesn't look like it'll be long before Sweden joins the list. Today, Jan-Erik Sp�ngberg, who long-time visitors to N64HS should remember, sends in all his times for Mickey's Speedway USA, making WRs on three tracks. Patrik Nilsson, who actually sent Jan's times for him, says he wants another new Swedish player to join in the near future. Pat made his Top Gear Rally debut today, taking the WRs on the Coastline! Will the "Nilsson Raiding" continue?

IT "KENT" GET MUCH BETTER THAN THIS!
Andrew Kent should be feeling on top of the world tonight. He has finally achieved his goal of 7 million total points on Super Mario Bros. DX... and has also made his first score of 900,000 (which is quite close to my WR, I must say!) If that wasn't enough, he tied the Footrace With Koopa the Quick WR in Super Mario 64 and has boosted both his Total Report Score in Pok�mon Snap, as well as his Board the Platforms total in Super Smash Bros., where Kyle Sinclair is still working to keep him in his rear view mirror.
DON'T FORGET THAT "WR" STANDS FOR WORLD RECORD.
Sean Kaczmarek got yesterday's POD for making progress towards taking back his Cruisin' World WRs. He actually didn't get any that time, but at least he won't have much more work to do to get back a couple of WRs next time.

The Revermann brothers-- Julian and Christian-- get back to work on their Mario Partying. Julian gets a couple of tied WRs, earning him the POD. He also has a new e-mail address. Two of the brothers' friends have a few new records on Mario Party 7 as well.
7.5 MILLION
In Super Mario Bros. DX, I have reached a major milestone-- I have finally pushed my Challenge Mode total past the 7.5 million mark. I worked on 3-1, 3-3, 5-2, and 8-2; on 5-2 and 8-2 I managed to get the exact same score on both levels! I have also become the first (and only at the moment) to get more than 900,000 points on two different levels! Thanks to Andrew Kent for motivating me, especially in adding all those points on 5-2.
I also improved a very old record I had in Mario Party 3.

Nate Bonnett unleashes his biggest assault on the N64HS charts yet, with over 100 new scores and times! Nearly all of these are for one game: Perfect Dark. He has times for every weapon in Firing Range, and two of his Gold Medal times are also in gold font color! The rest of his times are for Mario Golf and Super Mario 64, where he has a new total time.

Our Australian trio of Andrew Kent, Michelle Kent, and Adam Rose are back, each with a different game to play. Andrew Kent ties a Single Pok�mon WR in Pok�mon Snap, Michelle ties the Coinless Stars WR in Super Mario 64, and Adam Rose improved two Board the Platforms times in Super Smash Bros. to gain a place. Andrew and Michelle's tied WRs are minor, and Adam, despite no tied WR, gets the POD for his big shaves in Board the Platforms that make him one of the most promising players to rise in those charts.
THE CLIMAX OF HANI'S PARTY
Hani Habra has done an incredible amount of work in Mario Party 5 in just the past 24 hours. He has great new records in Panic Pinball, Piece Out... and, of course, Decathlon, where his total score is now second place! He's made major improvements in numerous events, but you could have figured that out on your own...!

Two brothers from Dublin-- not Dublin, Ireland but Dublin, Ohio-- make their N64HS debut with great Stroke Play scores for Mario Golf. College student Greg Santangelo, and his brother Rob, have scores for each of the six courses, with each brother taking three of them. Greg clearly has the better scores, with his Koopa Park score being almost a Nai WR, so he is our POD for today.

Pier-Yves Lemire's POD streak comes to an end today with amazing new records from Dimitrij Jarowoj and Nicholas St-Louis, who have both set new WRs. Nick, who has a new e-mail address, took a WR from Stephen Nixon in Top Gear Rally, while Dimitrij Jarowoj made a double-digit improvement on his Area 6 score in Star Fox 64, which is gonna be very hard to beat! Pier-Yves still played today, on F-1 World Grand Prix, where he beat a couple of Nick's times. He also updated two more Rankings pages and pointed out some glaring errors on a few of our high score tables. Finally, Nate Bonnett has bettered his Super Mario 64 speed run to move up one spot.

Pier-Yves Lemire turned to a different game today to get his third POD in a row. He played Pok�mon Stadium and he's tied the WR for Magikarp's Splash. He's apparently going to work on Sushi-Go-Round next.

JULY 4: A DAY WHEN AMERICA GAINED ITS INDEPENDENCE... AND LOST THE TOP TOTAL HITS SCORE IN STAR FOX 64
Dimitrij Jarowoj is here to reign on America's patriotic parade with a brand new Total Hits world record for Star Fox 64, knocking our own Mark Johnson out of the top spot. And that was not the only WR Dimitrij took.
SO CLOSE, AND YET SO FAR.
Though Hani Habra has made a low enough time in Kart Wheeled to make the maximum 1,000 points outside of Decathlon, he has yet to do it in Decathlon, or even take Dave Phaneuf's WR. America still trails Canada by one point... and one hundredth of a second... in the Decathlon event. We're sure Hani will pull it off next time.
IF ONLY PEACH WAS PLAYABLE IN SSB.
Kyle Sinclair has cut a tenth of a second from his Board the Platforms time with Yoshi, passing Andrew Kent. At least one American overtakes a foreign player today!

Dimitrij Jarowoj has dusted off his Star Fox 64 cartridge and gotten back to playing. He already has a new Nai WR for Area 6, making this the highest single level score we've ever had in the page's history. He's got proof of this but my account won't hold it... even though I now have 800 KB of free space (and the image is less than 100 KB... what gives?)

TWO STRAIGHT POQ'S!!!!
Winfried Merdes is making N64HS history today by winning the POQ twice in a row! He more than deserves it, along with the POM, for his slavish work on Extreme G 2 in the past month, quickly taking over the Times charts and most of the WRs. It seems as if nothing can stop him from taking this year's POY at the end of the year!
HANI STICKS IT TO DAVE
Hani Habra has a new WR for Stick and Spin in Mario Party 7, plus new Kart Wheeled times.
