Impossible Situations
April 3, 12:46 AM

Wow it's really been too long. The past few weeks have been completely insane for me.

So I finally got the psych experiment done and over with. We have our data now and we should be able to analyze it. We did it in the big garage the ROTCs use for drills, so we had a lot of room to set up the cameras and do our stuff. It went pretty smoothly and we got a lot of good data.

I also learned a few things about grad schools too. Apparently I need to apply by this December. That gives me a lot of time to figure out where I want to go, and what I need to do to get there. It's really complex, you need to take a bunch of tests like the GREs and pay lots of money in application fees. Its also really hard to do, You are basically working every waking moment, even weekends, for years at a time. Doesn't sound like much fun and I'm sure I'll hate it, but it is a nessesity.

Classes are a pain, as they always are. I have had several exams over the past couple weeks and I have more coming. I did get to schedule though, and I have 18 credits to get next semester, Fall 2006. I can't believe I am almost done.

In other news, the website has basically been cryogenicly frozen until I figure out what to do with it. I haven't touched it in weeks because I just haven't had the time.

I am also looking for a summer job, so far I have only applied at EB Games but I'll be sending more applications out soon.

Thats all for now, see you later.

I love you so much, let me hold you in my arms every night...

Production complete.

Another productive day for me.

Today I woke up before noon miraculously. I had pancakes for breakfast, which my mom made for everyone. Since it was so nice out, I got everybody outside to wash our cars. All three of them got a good washing, and I also waxed my car.

Later that day, I burned the brushpile with my dad's and grandpa's help. It burned really well, especailly since there was an old couch and two chairs in there to help. We kept throwing fallen branches and leaves on there until there was nothing left. By the end of it I was all smoky and sweaty and ready to eat. I had spaghetti, and afterwards I played roller coaster tycoon for a while.

Now I'm talking to people online, and getting ideas for the website. See you all around.

I love you very much, cupcake.

Can you find all 96 exits?

I hate blank screens

I had a very productive day today.

I woke up around noon and had one of my sister's brownies for lunch. I really wasn't hungry at all. Around 2 I took Leo for a short walk around the yard and a little ways down the road. Not too far though, since it was muddy out. After that I went to get my hair cut and that went well too. When I got home I thought I should probably clean out my car, so I got my vinyl care spray, upholstry cleaner, and the vacuum out to do just that. Doing that took until dinnertime, which was hamburgers, fries, and salad. When I was done eating I tried to play Actraiser but I then saw that my save file had been spontaneously erased. I really need to clean all my games out.

I got on webmail then and found out that the Psychology career fair I've been waiting to go to is only for people interested in working with kids. Son of a bitch. I still have the I/O informational session to check out though, so I'll probably go to that. I went to NBC's Deal or No Deal website and played the game for myself. I never knew $30,000 could be so hard to pass up. My highest score so far is $125,000.

Thats it for me, see you next time.

I love you so much, cupcake. Stay mine forever.

I can't believe it's a '95!

It's been a great couple of weeks.

The weekend before last I came home for a visit. It was very quick though, but I stayed home until Monday morning. After my classes on Monday I stopped at Mandie's for a visit. She was very tired, so I didn't stick around for too long. We had a soda, talked for a while, then I left. I spent the rest of the night studying for my three exams that I had on Wednesday.

On Tuesday I went to Quaker Steak and Lube with Mandie so we could eat the best wings in the universe. I had more than two dozen I think. They have all kinds of flavors and almost all of them are excellent. I think Mandie liked it too, but she didn't eat as much as I did. After that it was back to studying for my exams that were being given the next day.

On Wednesday I had the exams. Two were easy, one was really hard. I ended up way above the class average on all of them though, so I was happy about that. I then spent the rest of the day and all night working on my literature review for my research methods class. I actually managed to get it done and turned in too.

Thursday afternoon I spent a few hours in the lab working with Robrecht on the experiment. After we were convinced everything was ready to go, I left to go back to my apartment thinking I was going to pass out on the bed from exaustion. Strangely enough, that didn't happen. I stayed up until it was time to pick up Mandie for workout night, but we ended up just staying in the room and hanging out. That night I worked on the rest of my homework and steeled myself for the experiment.

Friday was experiment day. I got to the lab half an hour early (10:30) to make sure we were ready to go. Luckily, Robrecht and Stuart also came early. At first, we needed the webcam to be able to record video. Of course, this took half an hour to figure out. It was then 11 o clock and I went down to the room to start setting up. It took another 40 minutes to figure out the other camera. By this time the subject had been waiting to start for ten minutes. We finally got her to start, and five minutes into the experiment two guys from the IT department let themselves into the room saying "an alarm had gone off". We had to stop the experiment to let these guys turn off the alarm we set off by moving one of the computer monitors. Finally, we were finished with the first person when the second one showed up. We got her done in about 15 minutes without any problems. Later that day I came home and spent the night relaxing.

On Saturday, I slept until almost 3 PM. As soon as I woke up, I got dressed for outside work, because I had wood to chop. I spent the next 3 hours chopping and stacking firwood for my dad. That night I had pizza for dinner.

On Sunday I went to church with the family, then we all went to a restaurant to eat. Afterwards it was time for some walmart shopping, then I came home just in time to leave for Mandie's house. I ate dinner there, and we watched Ring 2. After that was done we watched two TV specials, one was about Hell and the other was about Istanbul. By 1 AM it was time for me to go, so I headed home and went to sleep.

Monday was clean the house day. My mom and Allison worked cleaning the house while I ran errands.

Today, Tuesday, was a Spontaneous Day. I picked up Mandie from her house around 4 and we went to look for a movie. After looking in two different places for Deep Impact, we settled on Oceans Eleven. Then we went to goodwill to look for a super NES. I didn't find one. Next, we went to the mall for a bit. After that, we decided to go to a chinese buffet for dinner. After all of this, we went back home to watch the movie. It was very good, and soon after it was time for Mandie to go.

Thats all I got for now, see you all later.

I love you more than anything. You are everything.
