Damnit I can't sleep. Heres whats up. On Saturday my parents came up to visit me along with my sister. We all went to a pizza place for dinner and brought Mandie along too. We all hung out at the appartment for a long time and talked, caught up on things, and had a pretty good time.

On Sunday I had to study for my Psych 201W exam. I knew (thought) it was going to be easy, but I studied for a long time anyway.

Monday was the day of the exam. I was one of the first ones to finish so I turned it in and left. After classes I went to the grocery store to ask about how my job application was holding up. Of course the lady that does the hiring wasn't available so I left.

Tuesday I got the result of my exam back and was very dissapointed with it. I got a B- and I thought I did MUCH better than that. Since today was Valentines Day, I spent a few hours with Mandie too. I got her a dozen roses and she got me a box of Goldfish crackers and a 3 pound bag of M&Ms. Nice.

Today many things happened. I went to my classes, worked in the lab (without Stuart of course), talked to David, worked furiously on homework, and gave a survey to some people online.

Also, I'm thinking of what I should do with the website. I don't really have the energy or the time that would be required to make it competitive, and I'm thinking about shutting it down. I average about 0.20 hits a day, and this is after two extensive flyer campaigns. People rip down or cover the ones I put up so I think I'm basically wasting my time by putting them up. Also, the niche I thought was empty turns out to be occupied by two large competitors, one affiliated with the school and another private company. So in order to be competitive, I need a professional site designer, massive advertising in the form of billboards, TV, radio, and thousands of flyers, and hours and hours of free time to manage it all. I would also need some way to make the site better than the competition and I have no ideas. My course load and the lab work are taking up a lot of my time, as are activities outside the school such as working out and spending time with Mandie. Unless I get really organized and really get my act together that little site will never become anything notable. On top of all of this I'm trying to get a part time job so that will be even more time lost. I need to figure out what is worth it and what isn't, and that site gets closer and closer to the Isn't List every day.

On top of all that bullshit I have an anthropology exam in five hours. I basically haven't studied at all except for a few hours tonight. I really hate my classes this semester. Hell, I've hated my classes every semester so I don't understand why that even surprises me.

I have calendars, day planners, and a whole slew of garbage on the internet that is suppossed to keep me organized but it just never gets through to me.

I really need to sleep so I'll see you all later.

I really liked your presents hun, I love you and I will see you tomorrow!

Had the first weekend alone in a long time. Good thing Tom was around to hang out with for part of it.

On Friday I took my first psych 438 test. It sucked hardcore. I really hated it, and I don't know how well I did. Im asking myself why I even studied.
At the lab meeting, David recognized all the work I've been putting in and told Stuart about it too. Score one for me.
After my bio class, I explained the lecture to my very confused friend. I think I got the gist of it through to her.
After classes it was time for a weekend without Mandie, which would be very weird. It was the first one in a long time, and I knew the time I would normally spend with her would probably be spent on gaming, even more than usual. Boy was I right. I spent the next seven hours playing Civilization 4, and I had a lot of fun doing that. Towards the end of the day, Tom said he was going to watch 40 year old virgin in the living room so I joined him.
Holy crap was that a hilarious movie. I was laughing out loud at many parts of it. By the time it was done it was about 3:30 am, so I went to bed.

Saturday was the Holy Day of Gaming. I started playing Civ 4 as soon as I got up and would continue to do so for the next 12 hours, taking a break only to go to walmart to pick up supplies for the Lab. I was Emperor and Supreme Ruler of the Arborian Empire, an empire so vast, advanced, and powerful that noone stood a chance against me. I won three consective wars against the English, Aztecs, and Mongols, and took all their land. My subjects enjoyed such civic achievments as Free Speech, Universal Sufferage, and Freedom of Religion. My corporations took advantage of the Free Markets and made massive profits. As my final achievement, I built a massive spaceship and sent my colonists to faraway planets. It was the best game of Civ EVER.
After all of that I layed down and watched Adult Swim for a while. Ghost in the Shell 2nd GIG is awesome, and I enjoyed it heartily.

Today I made more flyers for the website and put them up on campus. I visited Mandie for a little while to see how she was. Unfortunately she did not get to see her friend which she was really looking forward to. Jonah was happy to see her though.

Thats it for now, see you later.

I love you cupcake, and I'm feeling spontaneous!

It appears the "Steelers" won their "Super Bowl Game". People are screaming and blowing things up.

Am I not here
February 3, 1:36 AM

Somehow I am still conscious. I got 3 hours of sleep last night and I'm really feeling it now.

Classes went okay today. My Lab meeting with David went well, he didn't like the track idea, so we decided to tape it outside and use milk crates for the platforms.

After classes Mandie and I worked out. I got 2.55 miles treadmill and 1.45 miles ski. Mandie got 1.4 miles ski. We spent the rest of the day together and afterwards I worked on my homework into the night.

I had lots of fun today hun, see you soon!

I broke the dam
February 1, 10:30 PM

New month, new ass-kicking chapter of my life.

I got a lot of work done today, but theres much more to do. I have a new concept for how to do the experiment. I want to build a track with sand in it for people to walk though so we don't have to borrow the athletic building's sand pit. I have to run that by the professor though, I dunno if he's going to go for that.

I wonder which one I should pick...

It's a tough decision, I've gotta work on that. Pics courtesy of absolutecorsets.com

Today my workout was 2 miles treadmill and 1.68 miles ski. Not quite 4 miles but I made up for it by doing some abdominal exercises.

I love you cupcake, see you tomorrow!

There's never enough time to do all the gaming I want.

Back on the Rocks
January 31, 6:59 PM

January appears to be over already. Damn I need to keep this thing up to date.

I'll start waaaay back at January 7th. I figured out the email error I was getting on my new site, it seems Yahoo uses a strange configuration to send and recieve emails through their SMTP server. Oh well, I figured it out. That also means that the site went live on Sunday the 8th, which is the same day I came back to college. I got my books and said goodbye to my parents as I moved back in to the good old apartment. That very night I started my workout regimen again.

The First Week
The first week of class was really easy. Unfortunately the bookstore screwed up on two of my classes books. For one they had the wrong book and for the other it wasn't even in yet. I have six classes. Psych 438, a personality class, Psych 201W, a research methods class, Psych 494, my independent research class, Biology 33, an introduction to biology, Anthropology 21, an intro to Anthropology, and Geoscience 20, Earth Science. 3 of the 6 classes have labs that go with them, and I have 19 total credits. Its going to be a busy semester. I worked out every day this week except Saturday to try and make up for my lazyness over the past month. Mandie and I started our Thursday night workouts again as well.

The Second Week
In the second week each class got into full swing. So far my classes have been pretty boring. I worked out each day this week too, using the treadmill and the ski machine. I try to do a total of at least 4 miles, divided between the two pieces of equipment. Also this week, I applied for a job at my appartment complex and went to the mandatory meet and greet, where I met the other applicants, current workers, and the manager. I never got any phone calls so I guess they didn't want me. I think this was the weekend Mandie and I went to Hosses, it might have been in the first week, but it was really good anyway. We also went downtown to check out what was happening down there. I bought a poster that had Extreme Rock Paper Scissors on it, a variation of the classic game using 25 hand gestures instead of just 3. We also ate some pizza.

The Third Week
The third week was more of the same in the classes. It was in this week however, that I had my first official meeting with my lab professor, and also my lab partner Stuart. We discussed the experiment Stuart and I will be responsible for and came up with some good ideas. I also went with one of my friends to a new place in town called Quaker Steak and Lube. Its an auto garage themed restaurant that was having all you can eat wing night on the night we went. I ate 26 wings, my friend had 36. We wanted to get our damn moneys worth. I had to take a two day break from working out this week due to excessive pain in my knees, but that seems to have healed up. Over the weekend, Mandie's family invited me along to dinner with them so I went. We went to Outback and it was really good, but also pretty freaking expensive. I got the cheapest dinner on the menu in an effort to be polite. Also, Medieval 2: Total War was announced this week, making me a very happy camper. It is due out in December.

The Fourth Week
Here we are in the fourth week. I bought some yellow paper today to print flyers out for the site, and the first round of exams start this week. Wish me luck.

I hope your Motivation is helping you babe. I love you so much!

Hahah, THAT was a fun 22.5 hours.

I was up until about 11:30 in the morning setting up my databases and messageboards. I'm sure I gained valuble experience that will aid me in the coming months.

After a 6 hour nap, I was right back at it with renewed vigor. I'm getting a weird email error that needs to be taken care of. I'm sure I will figure it out.

I also started packing for college today. I'm leaving tomorrow after dinner to go back to school. There I will need to get in touch with my professor about when I'm suppossed to come into the lab. I also really, really need to start researching grad schools. Considering I havent even started yet and most places need to have my applications in by this...september I think it is...I better get started.

Well it's midnight already. See you later.

I had a very nice break with you cupcake. I love you very much!

Give me the stone, and all is forgiven...

Perfect Mix 10
January 6, 1:11 AM

Today was a pretty cool day.

I woke up around 2:30 because I felt like sleeping...sleeping all damn day. I got ready quickly and headed out to get Mandie. We hung out at home, ate dinner, and played some Soul Calibur 2. She even helped me make this:

Before taking her home, we stopped at WalMart so I could pick up a new CD album. My old one is just too small to hold all the CDs I want it to.

When I got home, I set up the domain for my new website, Tom's Boards. It should be active in a couple days.

Now I think I might sleep. See you all later.

I love you so much, see you at school!

No updates in almost a month.

Finals week went very well. I got my grades back a few days after I got home for break and I got straight As. I should be getting another dean's list notification soon.

For Christmas I went out to my Aunt's to spend time with the family. We were there for three days. Since we would be there for the holiday, Mandie and I exchanged gifts before we left. She got me an Onion Newspaper book and Volume 3 of Family Guy. Both are awesome.

I spent New Years with Mandie. we watched the ball drop as poor Dick Clark tried to count down.

In this last week of break, I have decided to start up a commercial website. It will be a public builten board to be advertised on campus. I hope to make some money selling ad space. Also, I saw King Kong with Mandie, her sister, and her dad last night. Her favorite part was where they fall into the Giant Maggot cavern.

Now I'm trying to figure out how to make this message board work on my new site. See you around.

I love you cupcake, see you this week

It sounds like Coheed and Cambria is willing to kill anyone for me...
