Since my last entry I've been looking for a job somewhere around or on campus, and so far it hasn't been going so well. I haven't applied to too many places yet though.
In my group project for my child psych class, 3 people have split off to do their own group because they didn't like my ideas. This leaves me with 6 people total. I think thats fine, we had 6 people originally and 9 is too damn many. The three that left barely even talked to the original six.
This weekend was fun, I stayed up here at the appartments and we had a party Friday night. Saturday I mostly just did homework, but I did stop at Gamestop to pick up Pilotwings 64 for six dollars. It's a good game that I just never got my hands on, but I do now. Sunday I met my parents at Hosses for dinner. It's a good place.
In the latest outrage from the media, It appears Warner Bros. have seen it nessesary to take Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Wiley Coyote, Road Runner, and a couple other charaters and turn them into super powered monsters from 700 years in the future. Apparently Looney Tunes cartoons aren't EXTREME enough for todays youth. They even changed their names.

WTF.

Today my psych classes were cancelled for some reason. The roads outside my window look okay and it isn't snowing, I thought we would have class for sure. I guess not.
Mandie has informed me that she has been bullied into going to prom and now has her dress. Sounds like it's a lot different from the last prom's dress, I'm really wondering what you got cupcake! I love you very much and I can't wait to see you again!

Thats it for me, Later.

You don't tip people that drop things on your foot.

On the 6th towards the end of the day I knew something was off. I didn't feel quite right. The next day I knew why, by the end of the day I was in bed with a fever that didn't go away till tuesday morning. Most fortunately I didn't miss any classes, which is good because Wednesday was E-Day. E for Exams. I had four of them piled up on that single day, and since then I got the results for two of them. Psych 243 test was a 93%, which is a B, and Psych 213 was a 99%, which is most certainly an A. I also got back my History paper, on which I got a B++>A. Give it any meaning you want folks.

Thursday and Friday were fairily uneventful, but on Saturday I had my Valentines Day Date with Mandie. I got her some chocolate and some roses, and we went to Main Moon for some good Chinese. At Main Moon there were several small children running around, I presume they were the workers kids, and in the midst of all the juvenile confusion a plate was dropped on Mandie's foot. So no tip for the Chinese. Afterwards we watched a couple movies at her place, but then I had to go. I had a lot of fun. Sunday absolutely nothing happened, which is the way I like my Sundays. Now I'm ready to start another fun-filled week.

Later.

So I offered her a Pepsid Complete.

Got that history paper done. I think it came out really well. I also set up an appointment with my advisor tomorrow to talk about classes I will need at Main.
I was also on the phone with the housing department about contract exchanges. I found out that I would be stuck living in a study hall with three other guys at LEAST until the spring if I took an exchange. No thanks. I'm going up with my parents to check out appartments, and it looks like Nittany Crossing is pretty good.

Bye.

And now, your moment of Zen.

I got a couple emails about contract offers up at main campus so I'll be looking into those. Trouble is that they are from students trying to get rid of the ones they already have. If I accept a transfer I will be guaranteed a crap room (converted study hall) and no shot at Eastview. If I don't get on campus housing I can look forward to traffic jams, fender benders, and a $250 per semester fee to park somewhere near the campus. In times like these its important to remember the silver lining, which is that I'm going to Main Campus at all. I almost ended up going to Harrisburg (ick) to finish my degree. Its always good to remind yourself that it could be a lot worse. In fact, I haven't even been accepted to my major yet, but thats not going to stop me from taking classes at Main.

In other news, I'm trying to finish my history paper, which has to be at least 4 pages long. I have two, and I'm already out of stuff to write about. I love papers. My friend told me that the drop box for it doesn't close until midnight tonight, so I still have a good 22 hours to finish it. Its possible that I'm having trouble concentrating because I have much bigger problems weighing down on me, like the fact that it looks like I'll have to take 2 summer classes now instead of just one. I've been told not to load up my summer but it doesn't look like I'm going to have much choice. I really have to catch up to my major.

Vous tes une femme magnifique, et je t'aime beaucoup

So I called the jackasses up at the housing department at Main Campus today, February 1st, just like they told me to back during Christmas break. I told them my name and that I was interested in a housing contract for Fall 2005.
"Um...thats already done. The deadline for applying for a housing contract was January 20."
"Okay, thats not what I was told when I called this office. I was told to call the first week of february for a housing contract, when I called way back in the beginning of January."
"Well...thats wrong. The information was sent out. You have to get on the waiting list now. The website is (site deleted)."
Hung up.
I don't know what clueless, airheaded, mindless cow told me to call TODAY after everything was done, and I sure as HELL didn't get any information about it, so I have no idea what "information" this new woman was talking about. So now I have to go up to main campus and start hunting for a place to live, which I'm sure every other student has been doing for months now.

In other news, I'm making a lot of headway in the homework department. It keeps piling up but its getting done slightly faster than its coming in. I have also joined the psychology club, so hopefully I'll be able to attend some shrink conventions soon.

Love you babe, see you pretty soon!
