Old people are retarded
April 29, 11:14 AM

Not a bad week.
On Monday I stayed up working on the project and fixing the Nintendo, and after I made that last journal entry I drove to school and as soon as I got to my room I feel asleep. I layed on my bed with my glasses on, jeans, coat, everything, and just feel asleep till about 2 in the afternoon. I missed my psych classes, which I regret because there was a quiz online that I had to do and did not know about, so I got a zero on it. Damn.

On Tuesday I did more homework, and that was about it. My usual workout didn't go so well that day for some reason, I don't know why.

Wednesday was kind of busy. I found out I was not exempt from my Psych 213 final which was a dissapointment, because that means I do not have an A. After psych classes I went ot Ebensburg to meet my mom for lunch and get a haircut. When I got back it was time to prepare for my speech in communications class. I put on my grunge costume and walked down. Ours was the last group to go, and we went waaay overtime. I was somewhat happy with my performance in the speech, it probably could have been a lot better but I didn't put in the time it would have took to improve. In logic we went over what would be on the final, and afterwards I had three other classmates begging me for help. Apparently I'm either at or near the top of the class. For once I was actually able to meet my expectations for this semester. Unfortunately I was too tired to work out after all that happened on Wednesday, and I would be regretting it the next day. I also scheduled an appointment with the maintence people here at the pointe to fix the towel rack in my bathroom.

Thursday was a little unusual. I went to History class to sit through another powerpoint presentation, then I returned to the appartment to wait for my sister and her friends. They were coming up to the campus for a tour I said I would give them. When they got here they screamed and yelled in the living room to wake up my roomies who had been partying till after 2:30 the night before. It worked. After commenting on how disgusting my appartment was I took the estrogen possie down to campus for a tour. They couldn't get their absence from school papers signed by anyone on campus because they had to be on an "official" tour. The official tours don't tell you about how shitty the campus can be, which Aaron was more than happy to tell them about. I was also able to talk the Lot Cop out of giving them a parking ticket since we didn't know where to park on campus. Then for the rest of the day I played ogre battle and studyed for the Psych 243 final I would have the next day, and also felt extremely jittery. Mandie suggested it was due to not working out the previous day, so I jogged 3 miles.

On Friday, today, I woke up and walked down to campus. I noticed that my legs weren't hurting from the jogging on Thursday which has never happened before. I took the Psych 243 final. It was easy and I was done in 20 minutes. I ate breakfast at the cafeteria, something I haven't done in a while. Now I'm here at the pointe and they still haven't fixed my towel rack.

I love you hun, see you next week!

Until next time gamers.

Broken-ass Nintendo
April 25, 6:40 AM
After staying up all night doing my project and trying ot fix my Nintendo, I figured I'd cap the night off with a nice journal entry.

On Friday, I had an exam in psych 213 that I forgot about. Luckily I knew the material pretty well and I think I did okay. After that, Mandie, my dad, and I went to Comicon in Pittsburgh. I bought some comics and posters, Mandie got an Aqua Teen poster, and my dad sent a few of his more valuble comics away to be graded. We all had a great time.

On Saturday I had to be fitted for my tux, but I wanted Mandie to see it too. I got her some tulips and brought her back to my house just in time for the tux lady to get there. I picked out the one I had last year cuz I liked it, but I got a silver vest this time instead of black. Afterwards Mandie and I had pizza and went for ice cream for dessert. When we got home Allison was there with her friend and we all watched Supersize Me, which was a good movie.

Sunday I wasn't feeling so great so I slept till 2:15. The family and I went to the humane society as well to look for a new dog. Allison picked two out but they both ended up being unsuitable, both for the house and personality-wise. After a quick stop at walmart we came home and I started testing the NES games my dad found for me at an auction. As far as I can tell, they all work, but my NES is in desperate need of a new pin connector which I ordered last night. Soon that thing should be just like new.

I had a great time with you this weekend, I love you very much cupcake!

Ladies and Gentleman, we have a new Pope. Cardinal Ratzinger has been elected, and he has taken the name Benedict XVI. Considered a conservative catholic, he was trusted by John Paul II, so I guess that means he comes highly recommended.

I will be at Comicon in Pittsburgh this week, I was there last year and it was incredible, so I have high expectations for this year.

I was able to find a guy that will clean the rugs in the appartment for $80, which is what we paid last year. I was surprised to find someone that was still offering that rate.

Over the weekend I spend a lot of time with Mandie. We watched I, Robot, and its still as good as I remember it. I have heard that it doesn't do the book justice though, so I might have to actually read a book to find out.

Today I also went to the mall to look for a good game under $10. I found none. I guess I already have the best old ones that are still sold in EB. Guess I'll have to rely on Ebay.

Later gamers.

Potato Chunks
April 14, 12:25 AM
Hello gamers. Late yesterday night I was contacted by an old internet friend who told me that the message board we hung out on was still fully operational. I hadn't been there in about two years so I decided to head on over to see what was up. It appears a lot of the original members are still there, so I posted a couple messages. Gosh, the memories.

Some of my psychology homework was interesting today. I was required to go to a website that calculates your lifespan. According to This site, I can expect to live to about 83. Mandie came up with 87, Allison got 84, Ben got 86 I think, and Brad got 79. It said that if I lose some weight and change my diet a little bit I could hit 91. No Thanks. I see what my grandma goes through at that age and I do NOT want to experience that.

There was a fire up here at the complex due to a careless smoker who flicked a cigarette into some bushes, which caught on fire, and melted the siding on one of the buildings (which happened to be the one I used to live in). No injuries, I don't think.

My logic test was today and I'm pretty confident I murdered that test. There was only one question I wasn't totally sure on, but I got the bonus so that should make up for it.

My workout program continues at a feverish pace, but I don't see any external changes to my body. I do feel a lot of internal ones though, such as me not getting tired as quickly when I'm doing physical work. Very happy about that. I'd like to get some tests done to see where I stand on fitness. It would be fun.

Today I made grilled cheese sandwiches for the first time. They came out really well and were good. My next project will be Perogies.

I love you cupcake, see you over the weekend. Oh and by the way, I never knew that some of the All American Rejects stuff was actually good.

Later, loyal fans.

I woke up today at exactly 15 minutes till the beginning of my class. I went there and took my test on Asian geography, which I think went well. We started going over the World Wars too. Not too boring.

Afterwards I helped my group with some Logic. I know that stuff cold, I shouldn't have any trouble with it at all for the test tomorrow. Actually my group members told me I should consider being a tutor, and when I heard that they make $20 an hour to explain what is happening in the class I certainly took notice! I'll have to look into that when I get to UP.

Then I went to the grocery store and got some food since all I had left was canned soup. Got lots of good stuff.

I have to get my tires switched over to the summers this week, and next week I want to get the rust damage on my body fixed. Hopefully I'll be able to get that done before the semester is over.

Je tre dans amour avec vous

Until next time, gaming addicts.

Musical.

It's been far too long, fellow gamers. Heres whats up.

Monday to Thursday was the usual school crap.

On Friday I went home. I hung around the house until it was time to leave to pick up Mandie for our anniversary dinner. I picked her up and we went to Red Lobster. I dared her to eat her whole meal and she did except for the salad which I knew she wouldn't eat. This time it was me who could not finish. When we got home Mandie surprised me with her gift of Mercenaries for PS2, which I responded to with a "Holy Shit I really wanted this!". After taking Mandie home that night I stayed up till sometime after 3 AM playing it.

Saturday was get things done day. I was outside working with my dad for most of the day. I spread fertilizer on both of the gardens, raked new gravel into the potholes in our driveway, and vacuumed out my car. Around quarter to 6 I left to pick up Mandie to go to my sisters musical. It was probably the most entertaining thing she has done thus far. After spending a few more hours with Mandie afterwards it was back to Mercenaries. I was up late again playing it which made me sufficiently grumpy for church Sunday morning.

After Church and Sheetz I returned home to get more work done. I vacuumed out the Altima for my mom, then I went up to my grandparents house for a visit. After that I walked in the woods around the old reservoir for a while, then I came home and played Mercenaries for several more hours. At the end of the day I finished my homework and slept until it was time to come back to school.

Today was cool. The weather was incredible once again, and I enjoyed it by taking a nap after my psych classes. We had Comm class outside, and a long lost member of my logic group returned after explaining that he missed so much school due to 14 hour daily work shifts. Poor guy. When I got back up to the appartment, I went to the clubhouse to work out, then I came back and reinstalled Napster. I've been building a new CD ever since. I have realized that this semester has been extremely easy for me. Its now soon coming to a close. I will miss this one, but I will take with me to UP the lessons I learned here, about applying myself and combating problems in my study habits and priorities.

I love you so much, I'll always be here for you.

What a week. On Friday the roomies had a huge, out of control party. It was so out of control that the new security guard came up to our appartment and lectured all 30-some people at the party about how kegs aren't allowed at the Complex and that underage drinking is illegal. Then he left and the party continued. When all was said and done, I discovered that someones purse had been stolen. I asked Brian about it and he said "We had a lot of problems tonight." I guess. Fortunately he hid my iced tea and soda from the guests.

Saturday morning, I woke up at 4:42 am to get to the bus that was going to take me to the national museum of natural history in Manhattan. New York City is incomprehensibly huge, fast paced, and exciting. As the bus was rolling through the streets, I was able to see street after street of skyscrapers. We arrived at the museum, located right next to Central Park. The museum was excellent as well, it was divided into 35 halls, each housing some natural phenomina like meteorites, north american forests, african peoples, and minerals to name a few. The hall of minerals was my favorite, with gemstones and huge chunks of many, many other minerals all in one place. The worth of that room alone must be astronomical. Later I had lunch at a Japanese restaurant where I had sushi for the first time, and it was delicious. After more museum going, I had dinner at a noodle shop. It was nowhere near as good as the japanese place, in fact I would say Johnstown restaurants had that place beat. I guess you can't get much in NY for 9 bucks. I didn't get back to Altoona until about 1 am, almost 24 hours after I woke up to leave. I came back up to the appartment and fell fast asleep for the next 12 hours.

Sunday was uneventful. I had a psychology exam to study for and Church to go to. Speaking of church, I must take this space to recognize that Pope John Paul II has died. Considered by many to be one of the best Popes ever, I didn't agree with some of what he believed in, but you gotta respect him for going from Nazi resistance advocate to Pope. That said, he will be missed by many.

I love you babe, see you Friday!
