Some of you have been receiving messages from home via the Internet and AMATEUR Communications. Now it's your turn to send greetings back. Some kind folks have dedicated server space and the A.C.E.S. (AMATEUR COMMUNICATIONS EMERGENCY SERVICES) group via the Amateur Radio National Traffic System (NTS) will collect, format, forward and distribute your messages as Amateur messages from there. As a result, you can send a "Ham Radio" message to friends and family anywhere in the US. (note: THIS SERVICE IS FOR NORTH CAROLINA CITIZENS TO SEND MESSAGES (local, statewide, or nationwide) AND/OR FOR CITIZENS OF NORTH CAROLINA TO RECEIVE MESSAGES FROM CITIZENS OUTSIDE OF THE STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA.. THIS IS NOT INTENDED FOR CALIFORNIA TO CALIFORNIA, OR TEXAS TO ALASKA MESSAGES. MESSAGES / TRAFFIC MUST BE OUTGOING FROM NC OR INCOMING TO NC.[Messages not adhering to this policy will simply be ignored and deleted from server..sorry!..
