DAVID PHILLIP'S PELLET HOLDER REVIEW Have you ever stalked a squirrel or other animal and missed with your first shot? And then when you reached to your pocket to reload, it saw the movement and took off? Makes you wish the Talon was a repeater, doesn't it? I have a very nice Beeman leather pellet holder, but I wanted something for quick follow-up shots. I thought of glueing 1/4 inch split tubing to velcro and having four or five pellets next to the breech, but I wanted something elegant that matches my rifle. Surfing the net one night, I ran across Phillip's Pellet Holder at http://www.pelletholder.com/ Obviously a normal holder would not fit something as odd shaped as a Talon, but for an additional few dollars you can order something custom made. I emailed David and told him what I wanted and he designed a holder custom made for my Talon! I sent David my money and a week later, was very happy with what he sent me. It's made of foam rubber and hard plastic that is curved to match the air tank perfectly. It has two heavy duty velcro straps to secure it to the tank and it holds 16 pellets. More than enough for follow-up shots all day long. So how does it work? IT WORKS GREAT! Every airgun hunter should have one of these! I highly recommend this product. The pellets are held so securely that they won't fall out even when running with the pellets facing the ground but are very easy to pluck out with your fingers when needed. The holder is almost flush with the tank and is not prone to snagging. It comes close to your face but is not at all obtrusive. In fact I had several people try it and everyone of them liked using it. How much does it cost? Well David told me that now that I've paid for the R&D, anyone else that orders a holder for their Talon will only pay the price of a regular holder! Thanks to David for a great product at a reasonable price!
