N3KZK
Hello and welcome to my Amateur Radio Web Page.  My Callsign, N3KZK was issued by the Federal Communications Commission in November of 1991. It was originally a No Code Technician Class. A few months after I received my ticket I upgraded to Tech Plus. For you non-Hams, that means I took a 5 word per minute Morse code test. This enabled me to talk on 10 meter ( a frequency range just above the  US CB band)  Side Band as  work Morse code on 80, 40, 15 and 10 meters. As a Technician I had access to all the Amateur Radio bands above 50 MHz, now I had the ability to talk around the world.  In April 2000 I upgraded to my General class license. This upgrade allows me a much greater access to the radio spectrum and more radio friends arround the world. Not only do I get More of the spectrum to use but It now allows me access to voice communications on bands that I had only CW (morse code) privledges before
