Jean-Paul LeBlanc writes: "I am wondering if there is any connection between P7X and M51. Is it a coincident that they only appear periodically and in this case happened to be up at the same time? Perhaps a search of old logs might shed some light. I have only been doing this for a short while, so do not have years of logs to check this theory out. Another observation that I have made regarding these two skeds is that both send BT as two separate letters, that is B and T. Comments???" Personally, I don't think that the two are related. M51 appears to be operated by French intelligence while P7X appears to be a training station operated in North America (see my May 1998 column). More evidence would be needed than the fact that they were on the air at the same time. Your comments appreciated.
