Nitrous Jet Size Calculator

Follow these steps to create your own jet size calculator with Microsoft Excel.  The maths calculate jet size and power for a single nozzle or a system with one regulating nitrous jet and one regulating fuel jet.

Use cell A10 for Nitrous jet size (in thousands of an inch)

Use cell A15 for Nitrous Bottle Pressure (in PSI)

Use cell A17 for Fuel System Pressure (in PSI)

In cell A20 enter the following:

=ROUND(POWER(A10*A10/ 5.8/3.4*9.649/ POWER(A15/A17,0.5)*0.9),0.5),0)

In cell D10 enter the following:

=A10*25.4

Label this cell N2O jet size in millimeters

In cell D20 enter:

=A20*25.4

Label this cell Fuel jet size in millimeters

In cell F10 enter the following:

=POWER(D10,2)*70

Label this cell Predicted power level
