Main Street in Pelham was closed for about 60 minutes during rush hour Monday afternoon, Apr. 2, as emergency crews worked to remove a bull dozer that fell from the trailer that was transporting it.

The driver of the truck walked to the fire station to notify officials of the accident. Pelham police closed down the road as crews from the Fire Department and Woody's Towing Co. worked to upright and remove the bull dozer, and also clean up a minor oil spill. There were no injuries reported in the incident.

    About Statewide

    ¿Questions to Statewide?

Q: I hear you guys put out some jobs on the scanner that you don't put out on my pager. How come? A: Statewide is a radio based notification group, we have no affiliation with paging groups.

Q: Can I get a copy or permission to use a photo that appears on the Statewide site? A: The photos that appear on the Statewide site are copyrighted properties of the photographers listed with the photographs. You may e-mail the statewidewebmaster at yahoo dot com and he in turn with forward your requested to the photographer. Since the Statewide mailbox is not read everyday and the photographer may not in turn read their e-mail everyday, this process may take several days. If you're on a deadline, plan for a delay.

Q: Can I get the police audio for a call to 911 Elm Street in Woodsville on Apr 31, 2003?
A: Contact your local police dispatch center for that information. Statewide only has access to what is recorded by our members. We present nearly everything we have recorded either on the homepage or the archives. If you don't see it listed, we don't have it.
