Illinois. At one time the counties in District Sixteen to the north were
part of the District One.
Like all State Police Districts in Illinois. District
One is also known as Sterling State Police after the location of the District
Headquarters. Located now on Lincoln Highway (US-30) east of Sterling.
District 15 covers the East-West Tollway that takes over
Interstate 88 south of Dixon and proceeds easterly through Lee County and
then south of Rochelle in Ogle before entering DeKalb County to the east.
