| Every Presidential Inauguration committee since 1933 has been able to issued official souvenir plates to the defry the cost of the Inauguration. For a specific time they are considered as a real registration for the vehicle they are on and may be mounted as regular plates. In 1957 they were only good from January 12 till the 31th, in 2001 the time period is January 1st till April 31st. | |
