| Welcome to my homepage! My name is Nooneh Gasparian. I am a product of the Glendale Unified School District and am proud and excited to be teaching here. Currently I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Studies from California State University Northridge and a California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. While teaching second grade at Columbus Elementary, I am concurrently attending school to earn my Master's Degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Curriculum and Instruction. I look forward to learning and discovering knowledge with your child and welcome you second grade! |
| About Me |
| Learning is a hands-on cooperative experience. My classroom provides an enviornment where students work together in small and large groups and independently, but each child is a contributing member of our team. Although we adhere to the state standards, the students explore their interests and often lead the direction a lesson takes. Students also gain trust with the teacher and each other and show cooperation and respect with one another through our daily routines, tasks, and experiences. Together, we discover the world of learning and take on its challenges by helping one another. |
