Rain
Rain..
When I awoke this morning it was raining outside - my thoughts instantly turned to you my love.
As each drop fell, I could feel your presence flooding the depths of my soul. I opened the door and gazed at the dew upon the grass which brought back pleasant memories of your kisses, refreshling moist yet lingering afterwards. I stepped outside as a gentle breeze blew by me , I stood still so I could get lost in it for I knew it was you caressing my body with your gentle touches, I sighed soflty as I folded my arms over each other longing for you to be here holding me close to you. As the day went on my love the sun peeked out from behind the clouds making me think of the smile upon your face which can brighten even my darkest moment. I glanced up at the sky above me, the clouds were moving as if they were your eyes fixed upon me watching every move that I made. Later on in the eve I felt a chill the same way I feel when you run your fingers up and down my spine- I shivered as I yearned to be with you more now than ever. Night has begun to move in as the sky begins to light up with twinkling stars which makes me think of your playful winks. I go inside and head upstairs to bed, I lay there in bed gazing out the window wondering if you are thinking of me as I am of you. I catch a glimpse of the full moon and I know that you are still with me keeping me safe all thru the night just as you did during the day. Tears begin to sting my eyes for my heart aches to be with you. I close my eyes and begin to drift off to sleep, I hear the sound of thunder and place my hand over my chest for I know it is your heart beating next to mine.The rain begins to fall once again and I start dreaming of you and me making sweet passionate love in the rain. It is amazing how the rain cleans the earth and how you complete me in every way. So next time it starts to rain dont get sad for now you know what I think of you while it is raining.
