Organ Donation
Every year, many lives are wasted because someone does not sign or believe in organ donation. I am a firm believer in the gift of life. I fail to understand why anyone would deny another human being by giving organs. Imagine a mother being able to see her children for the first time or a father given a second chance with a heart transplant allowing him to see his family grow. These are just a few examples of things that could be accomplished by organ donation. I realize that it is up to each individual and we have to respect their wishes. Perhaps if people learned more about organ donation and how many lives could be saved from it , they would understand even tho they are losing a loved one they are also helping another keep a loved one. Now when it comes to meeting the recipients and families of the donors, I feel that should be a decision made by both parties. These are just my views and opinions on this topic. Feel free to read as well as comment.

I know someone, her son died. She loves him so much..What she did was she donated her son's eyes. She said "my son will live through that person"
imagine everytime she sees this person she sees her son's eyes..somewhat bringing him back to life.

I think for some people it's some warped religious belief or something... at least, that's what I've heard in the hospital when patients are approached about becoming organ donors, and decline. They seem to have some twisted idea that if they die and aren't "whole", they'll end up that way in eternity.... um, yeah. Hello people, when we make it to eternity, I somehow don't think these carnal bodies will be our houses anymore... they are mere flesh and bone - dissolvable, breakdownable, worm-eatable.... but who am I, right?!

I think organ donation is a great gift for all involved.

By the way, got Samoas in her?! Gimme. Now!

(just kidding, NGB! But I AM missing my girl scout cookies this year; first year without. I feel like I'm dying! But my a** will surely love me in the end!)

Yeah that should be just a given rather than them going to waste - Kind of like every other Stinkin' Stoopid Idiotic Religious Laws on the Books - completely Insane*

1 Group had what I thought made Perfect sense that the People Smart enuf to have Signed their Organ Donation Cards should be 1st in line for the much needed Organs*

;)) Peace*
