The next two days we spent on the beach. It was idyllic. Palm trees, in and out of the water, trying to teach non swimmers to float and catch waves like Australians (but you should see us riding kangaroos down the waves.) “what? You don’t ride animals on waves in Peru? That’s crazy.) More cold beers with seafood lunches and dinners. Watching the cows walk past in no hurry. Woman in traditional dresses deep red and more mirrors than a clothing store, gold jewlry hanging from their noses and connecting to their ears. Some selling cut up fruit some just going about their business. It was a great two days and a beautiful farewell to all our 40 something friends we had made, the most welcoming the most friendly, the most helpful and the most fun people around. It was great.
