New Years Eve

We had pre Paid Rp 800 (around $23) to get into a party in a place called Bagah Beach. The club created for this very nite was called on the Rocks. It was a lot of money but worth every Rupee. The food was Unlimited and of excellent quality, and It changed every few hours. The drinks where unlimited but not much chop, although we managed to pick out some nice mixes. The DJ was mixing smooth tuned to begin heating up for the main part then took us out at 5am with the likes of sexual healing. The setting was outdoors. Tables under cover with wooden floors where in this garden that had been built who knows how quickly but it all looked very beautiful. The lighting was perfect making the atmosphere. There where 3 outdoor dance floors with plenty of space to move around and an indoor one if for some reason you wanted to avoid the perfect outdoor atmosphere. The food and drink flowed and the music rolled and we all danced the nite away. There was one great dancer, for about an hour we took the entire lower outside dancefloor which for somereason everyone had neglected. She had the correct understanding of music you need to dance, from the jerky stop start rythms of bollywood blockbuster soundtracks to smooth latin beats than give you that flow stop feeling. It was loads of fun. I found out later she used to dance professionally. Later in the night we went for almost an hour again once again fantastic. We took taxis back to Anjuna beach just about in time to watch the sunrise but never did.
