For the most extreme contrast (perhaps what India does best) we went from the serenity of Gandhi’s home to go catch a Bollywood flick. Not only did Ghandi hate cinemas, this film was extremely modern with guns, kissing, thieves and many beautiful girls. The Film apparently typical of bollywood films seemed to combine western action James bond/mission impossible style with dancing scenes almost randomly dispersed throughout. The plot was easy enough to follow, the occasional English section made it easier to understand. There was action, some drama, some comedy and this dancing and the music! The theme song very catchy it was, kept popping up throughout the film, perhaps 10 times or more. The main characters had super human abilities but this was just considered normal. The film was very long more than 3 hours! Even with an intermission it seemed so long but good! It was a lot of fun and we now search for the sound track and DVD! Im pretty sure I saw my friend in the first scene (he has a distinctive arm tatoo, but I couldnt see him in the other scenes he said he was in, still pretty cool!
