After such a great Christmas party catching the sunrise was out of the question. We finally got up around mid day and I thaught I had somehow been transported to a film about Rio in Brazil. This high very nice apartment building standing tall over the slums bellow. Even the smog matched all the pictures I had see, The colors where correct everything seemed like a documentary about Rio (but they where playing cricket not soccer in the fields. We had all decided to go to the world press photos exhibition. The train is the quickest way so we headed to the station. The station was fascinating enough. After lining up for tickets stepping over the sleeping beggars all some with hands out some just wanting to sleep. We had tickets and where off. “Quick rush rush rush we will miss the quick train. We did miss the quick train and probably just as well. The slow train was totally packed and the fast train is always more full! On one trip it was so packed that even after yelling a lot and shouting and pushing we couldn’t get off the train we had to wait till the next station fight our way off and ride another train back!. People sleep in the luggage racks or on top of the roof and lean out the windows at alarming angles. Especially for Clay this was an eye opener. The world press photos exhibition was incredible striking photos from all around the world. Some where very famous. My favorite was the massive print of a dist storm in Rajistan north India an amazing lunch with waiters dressed in bow tied, out of our price range but the food was great. Sleep sleep sleep was in order as clay was jet lagged and I partied a bit too hard. We headed back to Sagar city collected out stuff and moved to Yukis flat for 1 nite.
