The name of the home to the gateway of India as well as the biggest film industry was recently changed. It went from the classier sounding name which is shared with the most famous Gin in the world to Mumbai. Nobody aside from the western tourists call it Mumbai. To everyone else it seems to be Bombay. Even on my flight ticket the code is still bomb (a little frightening in a post 9/11 world?)
