| No, this isn't about cats, although I do love the little furry ones. Just the frontpage for my website on anime. | ||||||
DMC4, New Manga, and a 'Disturbed Drabble'... ![]() So for the first time ever, I'm actually glad that I signed up with Gamespot. Usually they just send me contest junk that I'm not interested in, or the newsletters which really don't tell me anything. But every once in a purple and hazy moon, they do manage to tell me about crucial updates a few choice games. Case in point being the e-mail they sent telling me that Capcom's official Japanese site for Devil May Cry 4 was going to be making a big and/or surprising news announcement concerning game plot by the end of this week. So I checked the site for the alleged coutdown and teaser, and it was there! I was so happy! I love the DMC series so far, and I've been waiting around for more news (and better screenshots, :P) of this one. Good news on my gaming front. Good stuff on the manga front too, even if I'm a bit peeved that tokyopop's new site www.tokyopop.com, it's working out very well. It's very jumbled and not so user friendly, even if the community aspect and own submissions side has grown. The good news is, I happened to read a snippet of RE:play, and after a trip to a local music store also resulted in a detour to Border's in the local mall, I picked up Vol. 1 and have found it to be right up my alley. Vampires, punk rock music groups, angst, romance, and more angst as well as a 'stalker' attack make this a thrilling read already. Plus, it's OT, so that means it can get pleasantly gory/smutty. ...Um, disregard that drool-laden statement. I also decided Biznghast was worht a second look, though I couldn't find any vlumes in that particular store, and was happy to see MEE continuing with his hot Hyper Police series. \/\/00+! Now for the last part, and personally, definitely not the least part. I blatantly refuse to stop writing, as it's a good outlet for my otherwise chained down creativity, since I cannot draw. However, this also means the plot bunnies do run away with my brain cells sometimes, and my muse does try to eat my trains of thought in order to replace them with snippets of stories. ...Right, the point. The point is that bwsides my deranged fanfiction, I'm now compiling a few 'Disturbed Drabbles' of original short stories that occur to me. So, without much further rambling, here's the link to the latest one:
