GED Talk
I am a GED teacher. Come here to read about all things GED.
Entry for July 5, 2007
Next we'll  look at Pre - GED Level 3 - Low Intermediate Basic Education, grade level 4.0 - 5.9. Description: *Individual can read simple material on familiar subjects and comprehend with high accuracy simple and composed sentences in single or linked paragraphs containing a familiar vocabulary; can write simple notes and messages on familiar situations, but lacks complete clarity and focus. *NRS Manual. Students in this group possess reading and math skills covering the beginning of the fourth grade through the end of grade five. They are starting to read with understanding now. Writing skills are progressing, as well. We're very nearly at GED level, but not yet. There are people who take the GED test again and again who are this level and below. They can't understand why they keep failing. My hope is that some of those people will take a lok at this blog. Next, on to Level 4. Lynne.
