You must be a woman, 40ish - 50 and older, and wear the appropriate attire to all RHS events that you attend. Appropriate attire is: Ladies 50 years and older wear purple outfits, with a RED hat. Ladies under 50 years wear lavender outfits, with a PINK hat. Ladies are strongly encouraged to follow these color guidelines, and to NOT wear purple/red until they have reached THE BIRTHDAY. You must be willing to greet middle age with verve, humor, and élan.
